Buyer beware. During the Christmas Storm of 2022 my home experienced a power failure/heating failure. We unfortunately were not there to turn off the water lines as we were snowed in at my Mother's starting on our 3rd floor. After the travel bans were lifted and we were dug out we came home to find our house had been flooding for days. 16,000 gallons of water pushed through this house destroying most of it. We've worked through the whole process with ENIA for the last 2 years, we've done everything asked of us. Getting 3 itemized estimates for each repair to make us whole per our policy. We are still over $100,000 off from what they claim our repairs should cost. Like most people I do not have an extra $100,000 saved to fix this home, this is why we paid for insurance with full replacement coverage. We filed a complaint with the state and they told us that we were reading our policy correctly basically but the insurance company has all the power in NYS, the consumer has little protection. If we'd like to fight this further we'd need to take them to claims court. We've talked to several attorneys and though they believe we have a case, you cannot recoup your attorney fees in NYS on an insurance related case and have warned us the insurance company has more financial resources than us to fight this case, they will make sure it costs us $20k in attorney fees and you don't get to pick the outcome, the judge does. We are at a total loss as to what to do. If you'd like to be adequately covered for one of the biggest investments you will ever make, I would recommend looking else-ware even if they are slightly more expensive.

Horrible, Horrible, had a furnace blow during a blizzard, pipes burst, major damage. They have done everything to stall the claim. 5 months and not a cent from them. House now has mold growing, they could care less. Can't get the adjuster to even return phone calls. Home is not habitable. We will have to sue to get them to pay out, costing us even more money. Run as fast as you can from this company. They would get minus stars if I could.
