Paid $300 for a radio that did not work replaced radio with a different brand of radio that did not fit in my car and is not of better quality than first radio.Business response

As a local business for over 33 years, we pride ourselves on customer service. In researching this incident, this customer purchased our least expensive radio we sell and it functioned for 3 months and stopped functioning. She returned to our store and we worked with her due to the fact that this electronic piece was not available due to the parts shortage/pandemic. We offered a more expensive radio, at no cost to her, along with another in stock radio, with an upgrade cost of $50. She chose the no cost in stock radio, which was a free upgrade to accommodate her. These were both in stock and she chose the Boss. Our equipment was never broken leaving the store and all electrnoics can malfunction. We worked with her on these options for replacements. Her choice was made and then a ******** post of her displeasure was put on social media. Instead of discussing her dissatisfaction of the Boss, we received that. We reponded and she took down that post. Instead of discussing her dissatisfaction with us and returning for us to address it, there has been a ******** Post/Review and now a complaint with the BBB. As a local business our doors and communication are open. I am sorry the product that we don't manufacture malfunctioned for her. We stood behind a no cost upgrade along with another small upgrade cost product of the Pioneer. I am sorry the free upgraded Boss wasnt' satisfactory to her. In order for us to address this dissatisfaction, she needs to articulate her concerns with us. At this point, she left our store with the upgraded product and we have only heard of her displease through social media and BBB. If no communication attempts are made directly with us, we can't rectify the situation. We remain on Tallmadge Avenue and she is welcome to work with her salesperson to communicate what isn't working with the Boss radio.
