Over paid Dr ******* (Dentalworks-dentist) per ************. *** told me to pay my provider and I did ($93.00). *** and ******** now tell me that I have to go after Dr. ******* to get my refund. I have contacted Dr. ******* 2-3 times requesting my refund, been ignored. When ******** called to check on my payment, *******'s office lied and said I hadn't paid the $93.00 (as per ******), clearly you can see that I did in January 2024, see attached check that they cashed and deposited by Dr. *******. I just want the over payment reimbursed. ***, ******** and Dr ******* (Dentalworks) are all ignoring the error that was made. This is approaching a year with this issue. Dentalworks needs to pay me.

Went for standard teeth cleaning. I have ***** *nsurance and Dental Works is a provider. Dentist looked at xrays and said everything looked good. Next I was escoted to another chaitr where Tech called up procedure she was going to perform on computer and said that ***** was going to pay all but I had to pay $390.40 for first procedure on 7/13 and had to return on 8/1 for her to finish procedure which on that date she told me my cost would be $366.40. The entire procedure could not be done at the same time, since according to Dental Works ***** would pay if done in two steps. On both 7/13 and 8/1 I signed acknowledging I would pay those amounts which I did as I left the building. After the second time, the tech told me I was going to have to come back in November for my teeth cleaning (which is what I went in for). Now I am getting a statement for $1008.80 with Dental Works stating that even though their computer has *****'s payment information on it ***** did not pay them. My position is that once you enter into an agreement, Dental Works computer stating what I am responsible for and my signing agreeing to that you cannot alter that contract. I NEVER would have gone ahead with whatever procedure the tech did if I was told it would/could cost me $1765.60 and my teeth were not even cleaned.

Today, I was completely misled and not ethically treated by the facility. When it came to a procedure I needed, I was told my insurance didn’t cover it. After speaking with a family member that works for a dental office, providing a range of services, I was informed it could be by medical, not dental. I called my medical insurance and was informed the procedure is absolutely covered with pre authorization. When I contacted the DentalWorks office back, I was then informed they do not accept my medical coverage but failed to tell me that before the procedure. Now, I have a bill over $6,000.00 and they expect me to pay it when they lied to me. They should’ve told me medical would cover it and they just didn’t accept my ******* ******. I could’ve went somewhere else that did and came back for the surgery I also need. Instead, they were only concerned about taking advantage of me and not following any medically ethical process. I demanded someone call me back to handle this, immediately. I’m still waiting.
