1 starSure wish I would have seen these reviews before I gave her money for a walk in shower and ceiling fan. This was in September 2023. Was given excuse after excuse. Now getting totally ghosted, and in reviewing Greene County Court cases I see why. Flat out stole from me. Lesson learned the hard way. Great acting job, woman owned/veteran owned business, portrayed herself as a person of faith. This company is a facade, nothing more.Review fromJen W

5 starsWe adore Family Tradition Marsh Company! We had no issues or set backs with our materials, schedules, timelines, owners/employees, communication, or quality of the job and our finished product. The crew picked up other miscellaneous items for us as well due to us not having a vehicle efficient enough to load it into ourselves, and they saved us quite a bit of money and time on their own free time and kind willed nature. We would love to share our feedback with everyone. We received the utmost care and consideration. We enjoy their company. The owner, and the employees in combination, truly walked the extra mile for us as they did on the first go round. We are nothing but, pleased. They will be returning for our third project, when room becomes available on their schedule. A company bold and transparent enough to state at the initial quote, they can not get to your project right away in the time frame you had wished for, due to focusing on projects they have currently running, is a company you want to wait for. We have done this twice with Family Tradition Marsh Co and intended to keep using them further for all future projects!Review fromT.D. S

2 starsWe hired Family Tradition and Marsh Co LLC (FTMC) to do a substantial renovation in our home with removing carpets on two levels of our home, and upgrade upstairs railings along with installing new stair treads/risers. We researched and interviewed other bigger companies before deciding upon FTMC as the company owner/operator sold us on the company’s small business/Veteran owned-operated business model which we liked and felt was a perfect fit for us. Our 7–10 week project completed in the 14th week for a variety reasons: lack of company support (one employee left to do all of the demolition/ moving heavy furniture/new floor installs herself), lack of materials (materials were never ordered at the 3 month prior to start of the project as contract demanded), lack of correct tools (several instances employees were required to jump from one job site to another for working nail guns or other tooling as there was not enough to support all jobs in progress) and pulling employees to work other projects leaving us with several days of no work (and no communication as to when/why we were no-showed). In the end, the project turned out as we intended, and we closed our business with FTMC. Unfortunately, this was a HORRIBLE experience due to the amount of unnecessary stress and frustration along the way – mainly due to lack of communication and leadership on the part of the company owner. This could have been prevented/mitigated with communication, and honesty. For example, the company owner ghosted us for weeks at a time when we continued to inquire on status of materials – totally unprofessional and unbecoming of any company owner/operator in dealing with clients. Poor execution, total lack of operational efficiency, total lack of leadership, and poor to non-existent customer communication were prevalent throughout this relationship with FTMC. Note: We also found it interesting that our experience very closely mirrored the review left by C.R. several weeks ago.Review fromEllen D

5 starsPunctual, professional, responsible, outstanding quality and customer service. We love this family ran team. We love the heart they put into their small business and Into our home. These are some of the most genuine people in this industry that you will come across. Everyone we’ve encountered from this crew has been a delight. Jenna and Jared have exceeded our expectations for our project and we are so grateful we chose their team. We will be so sad when they leave, but excited to have them back for next year! Phenomenal job, give your team a huge round of applause for us.Review fromDelaine M

5 starsMy husband and I could not be more pleased with the transformation Jenna and Jared’s team has provided for our home. We enjoy watching Norman with his craft of woodworking! He and my husband got along splendidly. Mrs. Jenna created a design for us that we could have never worked up ourselves, that woman is a talented woman! I applaud her for being a woman’s voice in her industry, many young women can look up to her, including our daughters. Jenna let the girls be included and “help” with the design and my girls loved that. All around GREAT job team! See you in the winter for the downstairs!Review fromCharles G

5 starsOutstanding team! We have hired Family Tradition Marsh Co. for all of our needs in our home. They completed the first level, and we were so pleased we’re having them back to make the same beauty on the second level that they’ve brought into our home! The team is great all around and very family oriented. We feel they have become our family during the process. The owner, the leads, and the helpers are all so enjoyable to be around. They’re extremely communicative, they make you feel apart of your project, and let you know what their next steps will be. As a homeowner, we highly appreciate that they are so courteous and communicative of the way they do things. Jenna was phenomenal. She designed our entire space, and the leads Jared and Norman brought it to life exactly how she displayed it to be for us. Their craftsmanship is impeccable. We can’t say enough good words about this team, and the company over all! This is the team you want to trust with all of your remodeling needs. We can hardly wait for them to return in the fall! Keep up the good work, Family Traditions.Review fromCharles G

Poor communication after the second deposit was collected. Details of a schedule were not provided even after multiple requests. Zero communication regarding cabinets, materials arriving per my requested arrival date. 3 weeks till my scheduled end date & I am still looking at open walls and walking on subfloor (for 7 weeks), no tile or cabinets or appliances on site. Many stories of excuses for delays. Required full weekly draw amount even if employees only worked a partial week, had to argue this point. Employee arrival & departure each day varied greatly the first month.C. R.

CRM Update: week 11 of 12 on weekly draws, project due date May 5th. Still on subfloor & looking at studs like my first review, cabinets I paid for in 2022 aren’t delivered, appliances I paid for in Feb 23 aren’t delivered. Breach of performance/contract? Lead guy quit without notice stating frustration at lack of materials & communication, so I lost another week. Still no schedule showing me when they’ll finish. Jenna has a story/excuse every time I ask to see or talk to her or no response at all. When will my materials show up? An employee answered my call before she would last week. Facebook business page disappeared. I’d like to speak with the other reviewers from the last two weeks. All are written similarly, more elaborate/eloquent than most reviews I see on BBB & Yelp.C. R.

CRM update 5.31: week 16 of quoted 12. Paid all but the last payment a few weeks back. Zero direct communication from Jenna or Jared. Tile and underlay ripped out last eeek due to not being level or laid correctly. New lead again. Now we’re another 6-8 weeks out. Lead guy with maybe a helper yet there’s FB posts about weekend work at other projects. I’m apparently blocked from their business FB page although Jared’s text last month (after Chuck quit) was that a friend of his was revamping it. Friends of mine can see it though, other customers too.C. R.

CRM update 8.29.23 My kitchen is still not complete. Quoted 12 weeks of which I’m now at 7 months! Jenna has not delivered my fully paid for cabinets nor appliances. Tile floor is unfinished & still covered in grout haze from over a month ago. We have requested a termination of contract a refund related to the materials & services not received per the contract. The store in which the cabinets & appliances were to be ordered from has no record of orders in her name, FTMC or my name, from September 2022 through August 2023. Two leads quit. None of the workers consistently showed up for a full day’s work. Daily runs to the store for basic tools. Materials that did arrive were constantly late causing delays. Many days my lead was pulled to another project. Check Greene County CourtViewer, multiple cases, public posts. Read Yelp. There’s multiple customers who’ve experienced the same issues. If she communicates directly it’s vague due dates, delays with funeral or sick child excuses; she wouldn’t reply to my voicemails or texts directly for months despite the problems and delays with my project, all while the leads drops comments that she’s on vacation, frequently.
