I took the CCW renewal class in December and was sent a certificate for someone else which is a huge problem. The trainer J*** told us that it had to be emailed because the store only had one printer that wasn't working which I find absurd. I then spoke to who I was told was the store manager about the issue and the store's screw up and was told that I'd receive the correct certificate and a phone call before the end of the day and I recieved neither. Nor did she seemed to concerned. I also really hope that no one has my info since thats a privacy violation. I've contacted corporate and they haven't helped at all either and this is a time sensitive since I have to do my renewal process soon and I'm not getting anywhere with anyone and no one seems to follow through. There isn't any reason that I should be going through this much hassle. They did respond to my bad ****** review with some auto generated response however they didn't respond to my email to the review. After telling a few coworkers about this they've actually canceled their classes they had signed up for do this nonsense. I'll never step foot back in their store if I don't have to especially the Shorewood location.Range USA

Horrible service! I went to buy an AR15 package bundle with 2 extra clips and a case that was on sale in Mokena, Illinois. I was told they were in stock. When I got there, the same day they said they were sold out. So, the salesman told me that the ********* location had them in stock so to purchase it online and pick it up in 3 days. So while in the store, that day, I purchased the gun online. Three days go by, I call the store and they told me they have the gun but the cases are back ordered. I asked if I can pickup the gun and get case at later date, he told me no. It has to be all together and they will call me. A couple of weeks goes by and nothing. In the mean time, Illinois changes the law on AR15 and my order got canceled. They never called me to tell me that the order was canceled or how to get my refund. I called to see what was going on and if I was locked in since I purchased it before the ban and the salesmen told me no. They never contacted me about a refund or status or anything. I drove to the store to talk to a rude manager in Shorewood, IL who processed my return and told me to check my account in a couple of days for a refund. The service ,staff and communication is horrible at RANGE USA!!Range USA

1 starDO NOT GO HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE! Highest priced ammo not only in OHIO but in the entire country. VERY SMALL overpriced gun inventory. Disrespectful to paying customers who use their range. They treat MILITARY VETERANS like GARBAGE talking to them with tones and verbiage like they’re 5 year old children. Even if you haven’t broken ONE of their range rules their staff and “management” are extremely curt, snarky, uppity, ornery, and pompous shouting, spitting on you, and so close you can smell their extremely bad hygiene. When you’re on the range they’re so called range “officers” are standing inches behind you screaming at the top of their lungs with NO MASK on spreading Corona, bumping and grinding on your hind parts blowing your ear drums out. It’s not what you say but HOW you say it and they have ZERO NOTION on respecting folks personal space and boundaries in their range while giving unnecessary “direction.” I’m not trying to date any of your range “officers” so please stand back at a respectable distance while speaking, especially if I’m not breaking range rules. You tell their “managers” and they do absolutely nothing whatsoever with a SMIRK on their face letting staffers operate with absolute impunity treating paying customers on their range like trash like they’re doing the paying customer a favor and not the other way around. $17 to shoot half an hour plus and additional $5 for a waiver of liability, $75 for FFL transfer. If you go a couple of exits down 270 about 5 more minutes you get to ***** in Obetz where all their prices are WAY lower than Range USA. A lot others have given this place negative reviews than what’s listed in their reviews and their technique is to call whatever page they’ve posted on to have em removed to blind customers to the TRUTH about this place. They also like to give a fake computerized stock statement talking about they’re sorry about your experience and to email them your concerns but the email is a sham and nonexistent.Review fromJake A

Villa Park, IL location is the worst place to have your FFL gun transferred. The item was transferred / delivered with signature on 12/19 and it is now 12/23. No signs of email or call yet to have my items picked up.… For sure, no future FFL transfer from this company ever again. If I have only known, I could have sent it to a different gun store / FFL holder. SMHRange USA

I ordered a product from their website, and after no response for 10 days, I sent sent an email for order status. They responded saying “There was a error in our system that allowed the pricing to be off. We will be refunding this order.” That’s the second time for me they didn’t honor their advertised price. False advertising should be illegal.Range USA

I’m an Honorably discharged disabled war veteran and I decided to purchase a firearm so I went to Range USA on 10/13/2022 upon my first visit the representatives were very nice and I placed the firearm on layaway, but upon my second visit to make my final payment on 11/09/2022 everything went south upon my arrival there was greeting or any acknowledgement of my present for 20 minutes and while waiting for some type of assistance several other customers came in and without hesitation they were greeted and helped so with the long standing period I decided to sit on the floor with my coffee as a form of protest for their rudeness and humiliation towards me, upon me seating down I noticed one of the employees radioed for additional assistance which I thought to assist me but it was to watch me in case I act up or get out of hand. And then finally after another 15 minutes finally some one conjured up some nerves to ask me if I needed any help and I said yes I’m here to get my layaway out which I got it out and upon returning home I called corporate office and reported the incident to Holly and she said she said she would call me back within the hour which was yesterday and no call and even today no call the reason for this review is as veteran may I state a black veteran I was harmed and humiliated how I was treated so I will not patronize that business anymore even if I got to drive 50 miles at least it should a better experience than what I had.Range USA

After reviewing the videos and interviewing the staff we have found that you were not harmed and our staff was assisting customers during your wait. Unfortunately, we do help the customers in the order they arrive in to be fair. We hope you can understand. I'm so sorry you didn't enjoy your experience, that is never our intention at all. Our staff use the walkies to communicate to the store leaders, associates and the Range ********************* This can be about any register issues, pricing issues, range or product issues. Our associates double check the customers ****s to ensure that it is filled out correctly and nothing is missing before they submit to *** NICS, so at some times, there are two associates helping one customer to ensure everything is good to go. We have asked the staff to greet every customer and to let them know they'll be with them as soon as possible so that issue will be addressed and should no longer happen again. Recent visit to Range USA North Richland Hills, TX will be my last. Received a email on bulk ammo sales so thought I would swing in and purchase a box or two. Upon arriving at the check out counter the cashier asked for my drivers license. l thought ...standard operating proceedure to ensure only legal age buyers can purchase (I am almost 60 so I think it was obvious I was). Anyway, before I could say anything, the cashier flipped over my license and scanned the code on the back. I asked why do you need to scan the back of my drivers license? He replied to get you in the system. REALLY! What system? I already got an email about the ammo sale so obviously I am in the syatem. He even mentioned that is a good price. I told him, I got an email and thought so welI. And, I was paying with cash so to verify I was the same as the person using a credit card was not a factor. He did not ask if I was already in the system or ask me if I wanted to receive info, sales, etc to give me the oppertunity to say no, I don't want to receive anything. DH"Unfortunately, to ensure that we are selling to age appropriate customers, we do require IDs to be scanned so that if we were to be audited by the **** we can prove who was buying what and when. This is for liability reasons as we must be following all age restrictions along with state and federal restrictions. We hope you can understand.We also attach your receipts to your ID so that if you have an issue with any products, youhave proof of purchase. 2 starsNew member, so far no issues with the store service, but I was led to believe that classes were included with the membership. When I called cs they said it’s only included after 3 months. Supposedly it was there in the fine print, but it was never brought to my attention. Neither does the website give any indication, just full price for classes, with membership status elite. Cs rep was not sympathetic at all, even when I suggested go ahead, charge me now and refund me after 3 months. “Will that be all?” Apparently yes.Review fromL. C.

Range USA has a very poor quality customer service. I think they have incompetent people that respond to customers. I bought membership on 7-20-2022 and on 8-20-2022 they have done something that cancelled my membership without notice to me . I did not cancel my membership , nor I intend to. I am a veteran and have a" basic defender "membership, paid with my credit card set for re-occurring payment and in good standing . I went to the range to pick up a gun I have purchased from their web site and try to use the range to test it and found out I was not having the membership any more with no explanation. the staff advised me to call corporate , telling me that their system has been replaced and they have tremendous IT, website, and communication with their store issues and many customers were affected. I informed corporate about my issue right away asking for reasons , explanations . I have received answers that do not make sense to me and then I called about 5 times and left message with no response Today is 10-26-2022 and they still did not investigate to solve my issue . I was very concerned to know who and why cancelled my membership that created inconvenience for me and concerned about the security of their website on which my credit card is used for payment .Today I received a call back from a very unprofessional lady named "Holly " that was speaking over me without listening to my concerns. With this level of customer service I will not put up, A very anti customer attitude and lack of knowledge. I would not recommend this company , I do not believe their web site is safe based on what happened to me , and the customer service is useless, aggressive and ignorant . We do apologize for your experience, that is never our intention! I see that your membership canceled due to non-payment in August 2022. Our system attempts a few times and also notifies customers at least 5 times via email. Your emails were sent to the email we have on file which is ********************* I'm so sorry you missed those, please add our email to your contact list in hopes to prevent anything else from routing there. This can happen for many reasons, the banks server is down for maintenance, the card is expired, the card is not valid or insufficient funds. We don't know why unfortunately, that would be a better question for your bank. I've reviewed the phone conversation between ***** and you, she did offer to help reinstate your membership but needed your permission. Unfortunately, she did not get your consent but instead was treated disrespectful then hung up on and that behavior is unacceptable. Range USA e-mail it is in my contact list for a considerable amount of time ( years ) , I receive plenty of e-mails from you . I did not however receive any communication related to my membership , I did not cancel my membership and did not have such intention. My credit card is and was in good standing, and I have checked with the card , they were not billed for the membership , it is set for reoccurring payment ,they did not deny any transaction to Range USA. Your customer service ***** is disrespectful because she talks over me while I am trying to explain. You try to protect her for no reason, other people complained about your customer service quality, and it makes reasonable sense. It is one of the aspects that is un acceptable to me . I thought I am the customer and I believe I was inconvenienced by the membership cancellation. If you can produce evidence that the cancellation was produced by me , then I can check with my IT team to see what happened. If you did the cancellation by mistake or other reasons , please admit it so we do not waste time. I will not reinstate my membership until we clear this aspect. I am a veteran that was treated very bad by your corporate actions. The ********* store in ******** , informed me that you have replaced the system and that created troubles for many customers . **** the store manager informed me that . ***** reinstated my membership without my consent and then she cancelled it again at my protest ( there are e-mails that state exactly that ) I wanted to know who cancelled my membership since I did not do that , it is a matter of site security that you should be concerned about .
