I purchased the Naija dining table on 11/09 as a floor model. Table was perfect for our space, pristine condition and on sale for $1999. This table was a win for us. Got a mover to grab the table the following week as the store wanted to keep the table for a few days because they were swapping a new one in. Table was picked up & delivered. Great condition still. Day 5 of having the table, I noticed a few round white spots as well as grease looking spots. I called the store immediately & asked if this was normal. I was told by the manager that I should be using placemats when eating. I was extremely insulted as never in 42yrs have I had placemats on a table. I let her know that nothing hot nor cold was directly on this table. She told me I could send pictures over but since I bought an as is there’s nothing they can do. I asked her if this wasn’t an as is table, if the sales rep would have offered me a tutorial on how to care for this apparent fragile wood.. she said probably… I also asked it placemats are required on this table & she said “you should always use them” This table does not seem to have a sealant on it or whatever should be on real wood to preserve it. It feels like fake wood & more importantly that I can’t use it without fearing that it will be ruined. I called back a few times & asked about the pictures & a manager told me she didn’t have time. Awful experience & very disappointing.Arhaus Furniture

We do ask our clients to use placemats, coaster and trivets. We are a green company so no we do not use chemical sealants on our products. Wood is a porous material as it was once living item. The care instructions are below for the Naija table. CARE Arhaus collections are crafted by artisans from around the world and are expertly designed to withstand everyday use. However, as even the best-made furnishings and décor are not indestructible, normal wear and tear will reflect use and care. Artisan-crafted furnishings made from natural wood with hand-applied finishes may vary in color, pattern, shape, and texture, making each truly unique. Arhaus finishes may change over time, and natural wood may display small splits, knots, joint lines, or other features that will add character to your piece without affecting its quality or performance. Furniture made from natural wood may move slightly as temperature and humidity cause the wood to expand and contract. This is normal and should be expected from season to season. Ensure your furniture sits in a level position to ensure the longevity of your piece, as frames tend to warp if standing on an uneven surface. Occasionally dust lacquered wood surfaces with a soft, dry cloth and non-wax furniture polish to keep finishes looking their best. For best results, follow use instructions for all cleaning products carefully. Do not over apply. To prevent moisture damage (like water rings), wipe up spills immediately with a soft, dry, undyed cloth. Do not clean using abrasives, harsh, corrosive chemicals, or care products containing ammonia or silicone, as these could damage finishes and surfaces. Gently polish glass components with glass cleaner. Wipe clean with a soft cloth. Avoid placing indoor furnishings in direct sunlight or near sources of heat or moisture, as this could cause cracking or changes in finishes. When assembling new wood furnishings, avoid overtightening hardware as this could cause cracking. Never place hot dishes directly on wood surfaces as this could cause scorching. Similarly, prolonged use of hot electrical equipment may also cause scorching. Protect surfaces from incidental marks (like scratching, scorching, and water marks) by using coasters, trivets, felt pads, and non-plastic mats. Lift wood furniture when moving. Do not drag, as this could loosen joinery and damage your piece.Review fromJenna R

Do not buy furniture at Arhaus. Spend your money elsewhere. I was surprised and shocked about their policies in regards of their furniture. I did not have my table 30 days and after one holiday dinner the table was scratched. There are NO instructions on how to handle the table once delivered. How am I supposed to be aware of how to handle the table once it is delivered. I order this table months ago on their website and was not aware of how to handle. I was told there is nothing they can since it was more than 14 days. I had asked to review their actually warranty policy from the insurance company and I was told NO. I was told that this must be handled out of my own pocket. I was about to order more furniture from Arhaus but I cannot be this disappointed again and money wasted.Arhaus Furniture

I am saddened to hear you are not happy with your purchase. As you stated this was ordered online and on the landing page to the right is the care instructions. They are pretty specific on how to maintain the table, due to this being damaged caused by dinnerware we can offer tech referrals.

I paid them a lot of money and a lot of interest, unfortunately the original check for over $28,000 was lost in the mail to pay off the account, resent another check and explained the dilemma and they still charged me an additional $1000.00 in interest.... bad customer relations.... get a personal loan....Arhaus Furniture

I do apologize but the Arhaus Archarge Credit Card Accounts are issued by Comenity Bank.. Arhaus does not have any control of interest rates or payments, those are handled through the issuing bank. Please reach out to Comenity and have them review your account.Review fromAlan R

After a no interest one one year loan for furniture at the end of 12 months the interest on the loan jumped to 30% annually and the charge on $10000 was over three thousand dollars. It seems like an outrageous charge and if not illegal certainly an unethical business practice. The np interest loan was promoted of course to entice the customer to purchase. I would never recommend this store considering this type of business practice and would be happy to share my bad experience online.Arhaus Furniture

The Archarge account is offered by a 3rd party Comenity Bank/Bread financial. Comenity has partnered with over 135 retailers for branded retail credit cards. During the application process the terms and conditions are offered which the applier has to sign off on. Arhaus does not have the ability to alter the interest rate or approval odds on these cards. We are unable to see your account balance, payments, fees or interest rate. You would contact Comenity with any issues or errors on your statementReview fromHeddwen B

i apologize for the frustration this must have caused. The information provided and that which I have researched has been forwarded to the regional manager to address with the retail team. I have also sent the information to the customer service and her manager you spoke with on 10/09. This is definitely not the experience we would have wanted you to have. I do hope you allow us to make it right in the future.Review fromJennifer W

We couldn’t be more surprised and disappointed by the policies at Arhaus. Our size selection of “Morning Reflections” was well thought out but completely wrong. Our attempt to return for the same print but twice the size and double the cost resulted in what feels like being strong armed. The email from employee at Dayton, Ohio, Arhaus reads as follows and I QUOTE “ I did get clarification on the exchange of the print. My mgr. says as soon as our design consultant comes out to meet with you and states it’s too small for the space, I can exchange it. I’m just trying to get a good solution for us (smiley face).” END QUOTE”! Why would I require their approval on a purchase for OUR HOUSE? Can you imagine? This is just bad business! I wish the BBB would allow images of the correspondences and images of our home!Arhaus Furniture

I apologize the sales associate did not properly explain the sale of artwork. The artwork offered are purchased through a retailing art house and shipped directly, they are not the property of Arhaus nor held at our facility. The prints are sold as is and are not able to be returned or exchanged. This would have been printed on your invoice and should have been mentioned during the purchase.I have included the verbiage available for the Morning Reflections print online. "This item is sold "as-is" and cannot be returned or exchanged. All sales are final. Should you discover a manufacturer defect or damage upon delivery, please notify our Concierge Team immediately." Please continue to work with the local retail location for a satisfactory solution.Review fromcynthia c

I ordered 4 chairs from Arhaus the Bottoni collection within 3 weeks the chairs where on sale the price had dropped on each chair by $100.00 I called customer service they said that they will not give me back the refund because the price match would have had to be done within two days that nonsense. it took them weeks to work on the process of putting the chairs on sale, also that wasn't even stated when I brought the chairs...I haven't even made my first payment its only Oct 18th my 1st payment will be due on November 3rd. Unfortunately, this is a bad business & even with all of the complaints they don't want to get better. I want my refund Arhaus company managers etc. do the right thing be a better company not a bad company.Arhaus Furniture

I do apologize a price match was not honored. I have price adjusted all chairs to reflect the $499.00 pricing. I have sent confirmation to the email address on the account. The refund should reflect in your account within 3-5 business days.Review fromRebecca D

Reached out on September 2nd with photos of a damaged item. One of two pieces I received was clearly broken in two. They were meant to be a matching set so I asked for a full refund as the quality of the item seemed low and I didnt want to wait on a replacement. No response. I emailed again on September 12th, ccing another email address. No response. It wasnt until I called in on the 15th and waited on hold for 10 minutes until I got someone. They then proceeded to ask for photos, which were already sent, but I sent them again. I was told to dispose of the damaged sconce and return the good one. On September 20th, my return of the non-damaged item was received so naturally I thought I would be receiving a refund. I called back in and was told they would be removing one of the items from the order so they could process the refund for the non-damaged sconce. That didnt make much sense but she seemed very sure of herself. I asked about the status of my full refund and the only response I received was to dispose of the damaged one which I was already told to do by the first person. No mention of a refund. Cut to **************************************************************************************** refund confirmation. While both representatives seemed nice enough, this all could have been resolved 20 days ago. The company is hard to get a hold of and I get the feeling that the two customer support email addresses listed on the website are not monitored. This was a small order and I cannot imagine wanting to place an order for a bigger ticket item with their company if this is how they go about resolving the issue.Arhaus Furniture

I apologize for the delay.Review fromTammy G

We placed a large and expense order with Arhaus in September, last year. We finally received our nesting tables (along with the rest of our new living room furniture). The nesting tables started to show ware on the table. We contacted the local company and they stated we needed to send a picture (we sent a picture in July but it was never received) so I went in and took the photo to the local Arhaus. The photo was sent to Customer Service and they called and stated that they could not replace the table, but I did find it interesting that they stated that they sale a product that we could put on the table to repair the issue. I find it interesting that we paid that money that we did for a piece of furniture that they know have issues so soon after purchasing it. We did not purchase the Worry Free protection, but who would have thought the finish would have worn off so soon. We will NEVER purchase furniture from Arhaus again and we will let our friends also know how poor the service was. So disappointed.Arhaus Furniture

I do apologize that you felt your needs weren't properly addressed. Per the photo sent in, it looks as though something was set in the middle of the table that caused it to wear prematurely. Per the care instructions given, anything placed on the table for significant amount of time would need a placemat, coaster or trivet to not scratch the finish. I will have an agent send a touch up pen for you to use. Please call in to confirm your shipping address.Review fromEmma V

We waited nearly a year for our sectional. I called every 2 weeks after the date it was supposed to come (8-10 weeks), each time I was told it would be only 2 more weeks. After it arrived at first I liked it. But it didn't take long for the structural integrity to break down. The fabric is pilling like crazy and it looks truly awful. When you sit on it it creaks, the back of the couch integrity portion is falling apart, the fabric on the bottom is coming undone. I've tried twice to file claims to have it fixed, as I paid extra for the insurance. The most they could do was send a guy out with a staple gun, they refused to address the upholstery issue, or the rest of the sad structure. the pillows are all flat and the feathers constantly coming out. It looks so bad, for a luxury furniture company, the quality is very cheap, customer service even worse. They've denied my requests for reupholstering or replacement, I spent so much time taking photos and chasing down claims and calling customer service to no avail. I urge you not to shop here.Arhaus Furniture

The Worry Free plan is offered by a third party not Arhaus itself. If you are satisfied with the resolution you can deny it and ask to have it escalated to manager. I tried to locate your account but I was unable to find anything with your name and email listed.
