Consumer Alert: Unfair Payment Practices by CFNA Bank I am deeply frustrated with CFNA Bank’s handling of payments for the ***** **** ***** **** ****** ***** Despite my efforts to make an on-time payment for my February 5th statement, I was blocked from paying online and given contradictory explanations from multiple customer service representatives. Even more concerning, I was told I would not be able to make a payment until my next statement on March 5th, which would have automatically caused a late payment and triggered a $41 late fee—a practice I consider predatory. Furthermore, CFNA does not allow customers to set up automated minimum payments, only allowing up to three scheduled payments at a time—making it unnecessarily difficult for responsible customers to stay current. This is unacceptable and appears to be an intentional system designed to generate late fees and extra interest. I encourage others facing similar issues to report their experiences to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) at www.consumerfinance.gov. CFNA Bank, I expect a transparent resolution to this issue and an immediate policy change that allows customers to manage their payments fairly.

They charged me a late fee. Bill was paid on time. They would call 6 times a day. When I talked to There representative they said they could not do anything. They just keep calling. Then they charged me another late fee. They said I should have made 2 separate payments instead of making one big payment that was more then the minimum due.

I'm gonna be honest, i got the card to pay for repairs in Dec 2019 or Jan 2020, then neglected to pay and then completely forgot about about it, I get it, that's my fault. I finally looked at my credit and found a "charge off" has been reported every month since Jan 2021. I checked it out and realized it was the CFNA Firestone card. I tried to create an online account to no avail. It tells me to call support. I have called support multiple times and waited on hold until it forces me to voice-mail because there is no one available to take the call. I have left my number and information and I have not received a call back no matter how many times I leave a message.

Be careful, not honest. Paid bill at a Firestone in person on time I have deal with honest people. I got first monthly statement, and the second payment was made in store at Firestone paid $27.00. in the Firestone store I paid cash. Cash. cash should go in immediately..got a receipt for it. been 9 days afterward 9 days the staton Octobe 2024 billing cycle closed October 20 statement showed no payment payment at all and I got charged $27.00 in the Firestone store store #028142 I don't understand what happened to the money y. Possibly stolen did, getting calls, I spoke to someone who was no help at all after being passed I don't understand what they did with the money I did my part and I shouldn't be treated like a liar. Respect the customer rights, I don't have any time to do something stupid in that I should just ignore this, most people don't want to be lied to or be cheated. Honestly is a virtue I do treasure that unfortunately someone doesn't believe as I do. Collection dept constantly harassing calls very aggressive poor behavior not businesslike at all. I hope that many othersbe victims and their explanations to BBB are repetitively immature. Stop it!!! Close my account immediately.

Business charged me fraudulent late fees of which I had timestamps and confirmations for, and they refused to reverse one of the charges. I paid off my balance, close my account and never will do business with them again. I encourage you to stay far away from them.

On Friday September 6th I used my CFNA Tires Plus card to pay for $1700.92 in repairs to my truck. My balance on the card prior to the use was $0. I have tried since using the card to pay the card off prior to my statement date to avoid the damage it would cause to my credit score. Both on-line and telephone methods will not allow me to pay the balance or any amount because it says it exceeds my last statement balance. That is the most asinine thing I have ever heard. I should be able to pay my balance at any time. In essence, they are saying that I have to allow for a credit damaging statement to come out prior to making a payment then waiting 30-45 days to restore my credit once the payment is reported. I have been placed on hold for more than an hour each of the past 3 days without a live person answer. As I write this review, I have been on hold for 44 minutes of an anticipated 26-minute wait for a representative. In reading other reviews, I am thinking this may be a good Class Action Law Suite Opportunity.

I needed my August 2024 statement for a closing. Statement ended on the 23rd and it never generated. I’m STILL trying to get that statement. I need it for my closing to show paid in full. If I don’t get it, my closing will be delayed and it will cost me more money. Also and partly the reason I’ve been stuck waiting for said statement, they won’t let you pay online until after the statement drops. I prefer to pay during cycle to avoid a balance on my statement. I feel this is a way to get interest out of you. Horrible company if and when I ever close on this house, I’m closing my account with them.
