I went to ************ *********** with my husband because he had Covid on August 30 and everything was fine, but on September 2 I had to go due to ear pain when my husband was treated. First, we found out that we no longer had Medicaid, which had expired on August 30. The ***** ********* ** clinic treated my husband but did not see me because, knowing that we no longer had insurance, I did not want to be treated and It was my husband who signed and got a bill for 985.00 dollars, and 585.00 for me when not even that clinic saw me. I called ******* and they first told me that I didn't have to pay anything, then a month later they sent me that bill saying that it is from Hospital, I went to the Hospital and they say it belongs to the clinic but he never saw me or treated me. I think it is an injustice on the part of this clinic who never saw me or my ear.

When you go to the hospital for treatment, you may receive two bills: one from the hospital (facility or testing fee) and one from the clinicians who provided your care (professional fee). The professional fee is what you are billed for from USACS. The hospital's billing departments may not always know who contracts their clinicians. Who the **** is Acute Care Solutions? I have now spent an hour trying to figure out if the company is even legit. Just got an email looking for payment--and I sure as heck don't know what it is for. No paper bill was ever received. Assuming this was for my husband's ER visit, why wasn't the bill sent through the hospital. From the other BBB reviews, this company sounds like an overcharging scam!

Cannot reach a person, the same response is copy pasted by someone from the company on all reviews. This organization needs to be investigated for unethical business practices. People understand the concept of hospital bills, but it is the unneeded layers squeezing the average American of every penny. Private equity has sucked us all dry. My direct question is are bills sent prior to billing insurance or not? Why are you sending bills prior to checking for patient insurance sending bills directly to the individual which is illegal? Despicable.

I was set up on a payment plan and paid the bill off. I just received a call today that the creditor sent me to collections .Now when I call i am on hold for over 40 minutes. I have the proof I paid this company ,however then neglected to notify the hospital and still sent me to collections. I am suing all parties involved.

These people got my name and home address after an ER visit. They sent a printed invoice for a $3000+ hospital charge. I have no idea who they are, why or how they got my information. I called the hospital and my insurance company, but no outstanding amounts are owed. My heart breaks at the thought of all the victims that have fallen prey to this.

We visited an Urgent Care in CO due to a dogbite to the face that required higher care elsewhere. During our visit the services provided were as follows: 1 Amoxicillin tablet given, an ice pack, and the doctor told us we would need to drive an hour to see a surgeon as the bite was too close to the eye and he could not help us with stitching the bite appropriately. The total visit was under an hour. We saw a facial surgeon the same day who charged us $250 to stitch the wound. No hidden charges or fees like US Acute Care. We got home from vacation and a few weeks later received a bill from US Acute Care charging $1399 for the visit. Upon leaving the urgent care we WERE NOT INFORMED this company would bill us too. We tried contacting them for over a week with hours on hold. Finally we spoke to someone who told us they didn’t have our insurance info. However, we called the insurance and they did. It has been an ongoing problem trying to resolve this bill. Mind you, an average urgent care charge is $250 max. This company is robbing the patients, not contacting insurance companies as they are required by law, and an under 1 hour visit charged at $1399 for an amoxicillin tablet that costs under $1… you’re saying these “contracted doctors” are making over $1000/hr to tell a patient there’s nothing they can do for them and recommend a surgeon who can (charging for a referral is also illlegal). We have tried to fight this bill with the company because this amount for the services provided is not right. The bill also doesn’t breakdown HOW they charge this amount for the services. It simply states “urgent care office visit”.

You can never get anyone on a call. Only way is via phone which does not answer. Document your attempts to contact the. Take a picture of your phone of how long you were on hold. , Do not unsubscribe to their text reminders. Save copies as their procedures is to push this to a debt collector.

NO customer service. LITERALLY. It is Impossible to talk with a human! Acute Care does not have my correct insurance info. NO WAY to get a hold of them. I have tried repetitively to contact them. The hospital does not even have contact info for them. Why the hospital uses them is a mystery to me. I will contact a lawyer before they mess up my credit!

I have gotten an email out of the clear blue from these people and I have NO idea who they are, but they want me to pay a bill. They also asked for my insurance info. To get to the bill they are charging me for, they want my SS # and that yells SCAM to me. Why did they not send me a bill so I can see what I owe, if anything? The hospital has all my info, why did they not give it to them...they got my email address. I just do not trust this. Sounds so fishy.
