    Delhi Fitness Club attempted to bill me for a yearly membership which I did not subscribe to. A company by the name of ABC fitness solutions **************** called me to collect a yearly fee. stated they could not help me that according to their system I have an active membership with Delhi Fitness Club and gave me a number for Delhi Fitness ************* called and number is disconnected. tried contacting the number listed on website ************ and someone hung up on me. Called back and left a message. the last membership I had was with Bally Total Fitness and that was cancelled when it transferred to FX Fitness, I filled out the paperwork in person at that time. Without my consent or knowledge Delhi Fitness club is now billing me.

    To whom it may concern, Delhi Fitness Club, operating under the entity of Delhi Fitness Club, Inc, which is registered to Scott S******** of *********** **, and is operated by a 3rd party company, *** ******* ********* has continually refused to honor the requests of gym cancellations and will not answer phone calls or emails to address the issue. My wife and I formally closed our accounts in August '21 and have been charged every month since then. We have blocked the charges from our bank and filed a claim with them to recoup our money which hasn't occurred yet. The gym does not answer any calls or respond to any emails from anyone including the company they hired to run the gym, *** ******* *********. Read the numerous reviews and complaints on the BBB site from others who have fell victim to this entity. I am demanding to immediately be reimbursed all fees accumulated from 8/21-2/23 for my wife and I by Delhi Fitness Club, Inc. This is happening to so many people in Delhi Township, OH and needs to be addressed immediately.

    If you have the scan cards, you can send me those numbers as well. 

    I believe I have located your account - which was misspelled in the ** Fitness system (probably the reason why the cancellation wasn't processed). 

    But, I will need your wife's, too. 

     

    Submitting a refund is no problem. 

    I am not sure which number you are calling or which email you are emailing to contact but we are very respsonive at the gym and have staff 7 days per week. 

    As you mentioned the complaints, you will also see that we handle all of these requests as well.

    This isn't a rejection of the claim. I do not see any other way to respond to the gym representative. My name is ***** ***** (someone at the gym spelled it as ****** when we signed up) and my wife's name is ****** *****. We never received scan cards as we never signed up for Delhi Fitness nor ever stepped foot in there other than to find a way to cancel which we did in August 2021.

    I found your account. This is likely the reason why it was never cancelled - due to the misspelling of your name.

    I also found your wife's account which was cancelled back in October of 2021. 

     

    I have emailed *** who handles our cancellations and refunds with instructions to cancel your account ASAP and also refund all transactions dating back to the date of cancellation.

    This covers my account, but there is no mention of my wife's. Also, the first time we cancelled the accounts was August '21 so please refund to that date and not October '21.

    Your wife's account was cancelled correctly. I attached the screenshot showing the cancellation date in the last message.

    Accounts cancelled in August would have been liable for billing in September per the 30 day notice to cancel terms with the ** agreement. 

    Therefore, on each account a September 2021 bill would have been due regardless. 

    I have requested *** to refund the accounts from October 2021 to present - this primarily deals with your account since it wasn't cancelled correctly. 

    On your wife's account, her last billing was September 2021 which is correct.

    This is indeed true. I verified with ****** last night so my apologies. Her account was cancelled correctly. When and how will my refund be processed and for what amount? I will select acceptable resolution once I receive the funds.

    I sent my Cancelation form to Delhi Fitness club on May 31, 2022. Since that date if been charged on June 11 for 21.40, July 11 for 21.40, and August 8 for 52.39. i would like to be paid back. Ive reached out to the club manger and he has been very rude and unhelpful.

    Problem:
    i wrote a previous bbb claim on this bussiness and my claim was closed out because i diddnt respond quick enough. this company contunies to charge my card after i signed a stopage and sent it back to the bussiness manger. I am try to resolve this issue with an attorney but, i will not contunie to be charged. This company just charged my card again today. please help the dates I have been charged are, June 11 for 21.40, july 11 for 21.40, august 8 for 52.39 and today 9/8 for 21.40 once again. ***** ****

    I belonged to another gym that closed in June of 2021. I ended my membership with that gym when they closed. Without my consent or knowledge, Delhi Fitness Club began charging my credit card monthly in the amount of $16.05. Once I realized what happened, I continuously called Delhi Fitness Club, and told them that I never signed up for a membership at their gym and that they were wrongfully charging my credit card. They continued to charge my card. I went into the establishment in May of 2022 and gave them every date since last year that they began to charge my card, and when I asked them about my account, they did not even have my name on file. They claim that I must have “proof that I ended my previous contract” while they do not have any proof of me being a member at their facility, yet have my credit card information? I have gone to the gym on 3 separate occasions, being told each time that no one has the time to talk to me about my dispute and that I could call back another day. They continued to charge my card after all three of those visits. I have since changed my credit card to avoid being charged again, which has caused another hassle not to mention the $230+ this fitness club has stolen from me, and many others.

    Members of the former FX Fitness club were transferred to Delhi Fitness Club after the closing of their facility on July 1st, 2021. Due to the agreement, we are unable to cancel accounts without a cancellation form signed and dated or cancel accounts over the phone. The screenshot attached shows that the member is in our system and that the account has been cancelled earlier this month. I do understand the issues with the transfer but without a cancellation form signed and dated, legally we are not allowed to cancel a member's account.

    This was a gym membership a family membership canceled at Delhi fitness for four family members. The membership was originally a family membership at FX fitness that closed and was sold to Delhi fitness and transferred over back in early summer 2021. I walked in the second week of July of 2021 and filled out paperwork to cancel all four family memberships. I gave cancellation membership paperwork to the assistant store manager for all four memberships at the Delhi gym. At that point I thought everything was taken care of and resolved. Within a few months later I was getting bills for membership dues and late fees. I called Delhi fitness tried to get this resolved thought it was fixed.Started getting billed for my minor daughter that was on my membership.I had trouble canceling myself and my minor daughter memberships. We were on one membership together my husband and my son were on their own. I was billed for myself and my daughter's membership even after cancellation back from July. I even went to my credit card company to dispute the charges and had trouble with reversal of any fees. I've been back and forth with store management at this location and nothing was resolved. Now I have an account with my daughter's account for $100 in collections saying we still owe for something we nevered used. I would like the fees that I was charged for reverse and the collection fees reversed on my credit card. I feel I was took and this is bad business!

    We are reviewing this and will be recitifying any mistakes that were made on our part.

    I believe that I recall the initial cancellation form being filled out and it having multiple accounts on one.

    This was likely a mistake on our staff's part as proper protocol calls for 1 member per cancellation form.

    This could have led to ABC (billing company) miss the cancellation request and not process it timely since they are handling the cancellations for this gym.

    I reviewed the account and submitted a refund of $63.07 for the payments collected in August and September after the account should have been cancelled (attached screenshot of the billing). 

    This account has not made an additional payment since September as shown by the second attachment showing the failed billing.
