      Accounting/billing inadequacies. Canceled my service in February. Still getting charges in June.

      Rumpke has been excellent. The drivers are friendly and courteous and billing is straightforward quarterly payments. Recent addition of fuel charge has increased cost, but they are still more economical than competitor Waste Mgmt.

      I am 72 year old senior on fixed income. Just got my Rumpke bill and the fuel surcharge is $26.39 or 21.5% of my $123.65 bill. I understand that gas prices are rising but take this surcharge times the number of Rumpke customers and it is hard to believe they are not making an additional profit on the current gas situation. In addition, they charge a $2.95 surcharge if you pay by credit card. The only way to avoid that surcharge is to give them your ACH information, which I will not do. As poorly run as this company is, I would not trust them with my bank information. My husband and I are discussing disposing of our own trash at the County dump. I hate that it might come to that. I wish someone would investigate Rumpke's billing practices to ensure the public that their practices are legitimate.

      Twice in the last month our trash hasn't been picked up while everyone else's around me has. The truck literally has driven past my can three times on the way to get others while leaving mine. When I call I get told it'll be 24-48 hours and they'll pick it up when it actually takes another week. Was given credit for a week only yo turn around a get a bill gor the credit amount. When I called this time my call was meet with attitude from the lady who answered the phone. I was blamed for not having the trash out for them when it always sits in the same place in the alley. This company has terrible service and even worse customer service. Ironically enough they are the ONLY trash company around us so they know they can get away with it.

      I am a 73 year old Disabled Retired military on a tight budget. I have been with Rumpke Garbage collection for many years and was on a Resident Senior service contract costing $66. every three months. This week I received my Rumpke Bill for $83.22, now including a $16,77 Fuel Surcharge! I tried to contact them through their website, but no response. On Monday 16 May 2022 I called their customer service and was told they would forward my problem to the Supervisor, and they will contact me, no response. Four hours later I called again and told me a Supervisor would call me that afternoon, no response. Today I have sent another email to their website. According to their website they have 2000 residential and 700 Commercial customers, if all are paying the same Fuel Surcharge Rumpke will me getting $45,279 every 3 months, plus their regular fee. I truly believe this is a case of "PRICE GAUGING" and should be investigated. It is just another Big Company taking advantage of a bad financial time for the Little person. Can you do something for us Retired Vet's or tell me who to call? Thank You ***** ****** Retired Disabled Veteran ** ********** Ohio

      Terrible service they pick when it suits them had them for years took over the company we had prior. Dont ever cancel they will say it takes fourteen days before they pick up your trash and can. Will not be a return customer! I would rather pay someone else double the price before I go back to that company!

      moved to a new house and called rumpke for trash service since its the only trash company in my area. they told me to set my trash out and they would pick it up that week... never showed... i called every week for 5-6 weeks straight telling them they never picked my trash up, had to rebag it almost every day because animals would get into it but i didnt want to miss my opportunity to have it picked up since they didnt give me a day or time for pick up, anyways after 6 weeks they called and said thwy couldn't drop my trash can off because they couldnt find the address, needless to say even tho i called every week CONFIRMING MY ADDRESS each time to pull my acct up they some how now had the wrong address, they were suppose to adjust my **** but a week later got a **** for months of service when i had only recieved service for leas than a month, called again and supervisor was suppose to call me back and never did, then they cut my service off for non payment because im not paying for a service i did not recieve and the lady turned my service back on but said not to pay until they figured out how much i owed with the credit and a supervisor would yet again call me back, do you think they did? NO!! now they want their trash can back and cut ky service off again when in no way do i have a problem paying my **** but i am not paying for a service i did not recieve, do they even have customer service? if they do they ****, literally the worst company i have ever dealt with and if their was another trash service to chose from i definitely would of canceled already

      Your service *****. I requested service on April 6th to begin April 27th. I received a call back on April 15th to set up service. You never set me up in the system and then did not collect my trash this morning. Now you say there is nothing you can do. You absolutely can come pick up the trash. You screwed up. You should fix the problem. What a pathetic excuse for a company.
