On 08/30/2025 at approximately 6:30 pm I stopped in the Fry's Food and Drug Store at **** * *********** ** in Phoenix for Bottled water and Ice. I was with 3 other family members who had removed their items from the single cart that we shared and used other self check outs to ring up their purchases and went to stand near the door. When it was my turn, I rang up the 40 pk case of water first, then rang up a box of candy, a lunchable, and 2 pkgs of rolled up salami sticks that I purchased when a somewhat hefty sized red-headed man who was working the self check-outs yells from the middle of the self checkout area, to me at the farthest self check-out from him, "Did you pay for that water"? I replied "yes but I do need a bag of ice". Mind you, he could have seen that the water was the first item that I scanned had he walked over to his self check-out post and read his screen insead of trying to create a false impression about me to other people utilizing the self check-outs. He then proceeds to yell at me how to ring up the ice, then after NOT WALKING OVER TO ASSIST ME WITH THE ICE, or anything else for that matter. He then proceeds to walk up behind me, lean over my shoulder and read my screen to make sure that I rang up all of the items. First of all he was in my personal space, second, again he never offered me assistance like he did the white customers. They weren't yelled at, their items weren't slickly verified, and they were offered assistance. I was racially profiled. My money is hard earned and spends just like everyone else's. I have no need nor desire to steal from this store or any other store for that matter, and this shouldn't be my experience when I shop. This is unacceptable. This Fry's needs to do better. I will be contacting your corporate store as well as filing a complaint with them and the BBB.

Management at this store is reflected in the poor dress and manners or its employees. The manager does not listen to suggestions and spends most of his time on his cell phone.

Covington Kroger pharmacy manager refused to fill my script cause I was confused about having a script filled my doctor personally talked to a pharmacist on 8-7- 2025 and asked if they could fill a script that was there from May and obviously was told yes I received a text from Kroger confirming the meds was ordered and would be ready on 8-8-2025 for pickup on 8-11 I called to see if it was ready first I was told there was nothing there then it was found but the pharmacy manager says she stopped the order because she didn't know if I wanted it or not so I kept telling her my doctor called it in she kept stating over 5 times your doctor didn't call it in it's from May she's not a mind reader and didn't know if I wanted or not. I kept saying of course I did that's why it was called in she became furious and said she was not ordering it cause the doctor didn't call it in it's from May I said ok let me have the doctor call in a new one since it's from May thinking that's the problem she said they don't need to call it in again cause they didn't know if I needed it I was so confused and still is today so she said she could order it after arguing and yelling for 15 mins I said time when will it be ready she said 8- 12 at 2:00 pm I said fine I do want considering the doctor called it in she said I'm not ordering anything cause u keep saying the doctor called it in you can go to another pharmacy and there's nothing nobody can do to her then she says she seen the order but refused to fill it and even went as far to say I'm lying about receiving the text I said if u had any doubts about me wanting why didn't you just call me instead of just cancelling the order I was told that's not her responsibility I should have called which I did on the 11th which should of told I I wanted it I said somehow this script had to resurface some how for me to get a text of a pickup day and time

I stopped in at around 1:15pm to drop off a RX at the Pharmacy. They were closed until 1:30pm so I decided to shop around for supplies for business and to get lunch from the deli. I approached the deli and noticed a young lady named **** that was slicing meats (no customers waiting) I waited for 5 min or so she looked at me and said she would be with me. I browsed for another 5-10 min at the deli items and thought I would just get some chicken salad prepackaged since she wasnt helping me. I walked up to her again and said "can you help me now? She said rudely "well now I can but not earlier, what do you want" I asked her the difference in the types of chicken salad looked like they had 3 different kinds. She said VERY RUDELY "I DONT EAT CHICKEN SALAD AND I CANNOT TELL YOU THE DIFFERENCE" I quickly left. I talked to the Manager **** and he took my complaint but didn't really apologize for his employees unprofessionalism or say he would address Her aggressive and rude behavior. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AT KROGER. I didn't purchase anything I picked up and left the store. You can do better Kroger!!

I am a Washingtonian officially retired in ** who has been an international and D.C. small business owner all her life. I just became part of the Kroger Family and I couldn't be more delighted. Everything, absolutely everything. has been excellent from the fruit to their light blue (celestial) bags, the three customer service people that helped me transition into their system. And a most welcoming, conscientious, smartly uniformed young woman, ( named after her father, Rickyel), who pulled up in front of my home with my groceries. I received the unexpected treat of being shown where my groceries were carefully stored. Charming young lady, spit and polish little truck. ***** *******, August 8, 2025

I placed an online order for delivery. The payment came out on the 2nd, and today I have new charges pending. After a lengthy chat with Kroger, they offered to do nothing to rectify the issue, other than asking me to contest the charges with the bank. I will be canceling my membership and NEVER using them again.

I visited the Kroger at ******************************************************************* on 7/2/2025 to purchase a **** gift card. What should have been a quick and routine transaction turned into a deeply frustrating and intrusive experience. The cashier began asking personal questions: Who is this gift card for? and Why are you giving it to them? After I answered, they went even further and asked, How did you meet this person? I told them plainly that these questions were inappropriate and irrelevant. I also pointed out that they had no way to verify any answer, so asking was pointless and an invasion of privacy. There is no law requiring customers to share this kind of personal information to purchase a gift card. When I asked to speak with a manager, an assistant manager named ******* came out. Instead of resolving the issue, he said this was store policy, and if I refused to answer their questions, he would refuse to sell me the card. I then asked for the store manager, and he responded that the manager was on vacation and would not be called for something like ******* that point, I told them I refused to answer questions that breach my privacy. I still assume I live in a country where my personal life isnt up for interrogation during a basic retail transaction.I understand the importance of fraud prevention, but this policy is overreaching and poorly executed. Treating a paying customer like a suspect, demanding personal details that cant even be verified, and then refusing the sale when I respectfully declined to answer? Thats not fraud preventionits bad customer service.
