1 starThey advertise product they dont have. They advertise a 2 day sale and only have 60 turkey breast for $.99 a lb. The manager or customer service head said its not his problem and the head office does this all the time. They need to be penalized for falsely advertising a product then not stocking it and refusing to do a rain checkReview fromChris D

1 starAlways attitude and poor customer service. Store is always dirty. They never have enough human checkers. One or two (or none) checkout lanes open with a full store of shoppers. The lane that is open always has someone with a hundred items in their basket forcing people who don't have time to wait to the self checkout which usually is also full and has a wait. The self checkout machines function poorly and don't report half the items you scan. It always calls for an adsociate to "help" who then accuses you of not scanning items. They are horrible in dealing with people and smart alecs. One spoke to me like I was trash and did something wrong. Turns out she was wrong. Tried to double charge me for two items. Then it said two other items weren't scanned in whrn THEY WERE!. Then she refused to come back to release the machine when the same exact thing happened 30 seconds later. Just ignored me. A manager haf to come straighten it out. And then when I left he was speaking to another manager in the corner that was just glaring at me. Maybe if they hired and paid enough people to properly run the registers and checkout lines instead of having kids and trailer park trash standing around accusing people of trying to steal when the problem is their machines, just maybe this wouldn't happen. I told her I would not be coming back and that *********** is much cleaner anyway...she said something like so what, it doesn't matter anyway. Absolutely unnacecptable customer service and everyone should boycott Kroger in ********* *****. By the way, everyone else wad complaining around me too, I am just the one that is not afraid to boldly speak out! I am putting review here because they have disabled ****** reviews and somehow are blocking bad reviews on their **** page. They don't even have one on their ******** page. But there are MANY that speak of the same things I mentioned here.Review fromDeanna R

1 starUseless website takes forever to load as clearly the priority is getting customers data rather than making it convenient to use. Digital coupons shouldn’t even be legal: California is right for pushing “plain pricing”, customers shouldn’t have to trade privacy for marginal discounts on over-priced groceries. Offering a subscription that includes “free delivery” or charging a delivery fee when they do not employ any delivery drivers (and orders for this area are sent to ********!) seems like fraud: they are willingly taking payment for services that they do not fulfill by design. No one will drive groceries that far without being paid appropriately and it shouldn’t mean paying a tip to compensate for hours of driving: it’s not free if you have to pay the driver out of pocket! They also try to not honor their own refund policies and try to pressure customers to bring spoiled food products back to the store rather than honoring their own guarantee which states you can contact them online with a quality related refund. Kroger *****! Too bad the “old school” Fred Meyer was bought out by this monopoly: I hope they aren’t allow any further mergers because it’s terrible! Customers and employees all deserve better!Review fromSharon C.

1 starI went to the 680 Twin Aire Drive to pay a *** bill and was charged a $2 fee by ****** *. When I informed her that there's no fee for *** payments and showed her my receipt from the previous day, which I paid a $1000 bill and was not charged from a different location; the Manager at the 16th street location informed me that Kroger does Not charge *** customers to pay their bills at Kroger, she become unprofessional. When I ask to speak with a Supervisor, she became agitated mumbling something and then meet with Manager and told him something. The Team Leader ****** came and spoke with me, I then informed him of this situation and showed him my receipt from the previous day: he ignored what I showed and stated that they are the experts. I then asked *****s can you look at the policy you guys have with ***, he then walked off; which was very unprofessional. I left and went to the 16th street location and spoke with the Manager there: Store Leader ****, who informed me that Kroger does not charge customers to pay *** bills. I asked her if she could contact the Twin Aire location and inform the Manager there and she became unprofessional stating she's Not going to contact them over $2. I feel like I was racially profiled thinking I didn't know that she couldn't charge me; so that's free money she can put in her pocket at the end of the day. Now, I wonder how many Kroger customers have been ripped off at this location. I just want my money back and these employees to be dealt with. I feel that I was spoken to treated like this because of the color of my skin. Please, keep me informed of the process and outcome. Thank You for your time and effort.Review fromDL T

1 starIve been without a car for awhile due to medical issues. Ive had to trust Kroger to deliver my groceries and have entered a war with them over the past year. I finally joined the Boost program, since I was ordering at least once a month, and figured it was worth joining the program. Boy was I wrong! Since joining, only 3 of my 12 orders were actually delivered to my house. The delivery pictures showed different houses in the 9 orders that were never delivered. I had to call the Kroger customer service number each time I had a problem, and spent almost an hour each time trying to get help with the problem. I finally lost my temper this week when i watched and waited at the front door to meet the delivery driver.who never showed up. Then I got the text that it was delivered, so I immediately called customer service and canceled my Boost membership after the fool tried refunded my money. I am done with this nonsense and wont shop again ever!Review fromMario M

1 starAdvertised price in a bottlle of wine was $11.99, at the register I realized they were charging $16.99 - when complained about that, and after a long wait for the clerk to check the advertisement on the shelf, I was told they were making a concession to charge me what it was initially advertised ($11.99) - that blew me off, instead of receiving and an apology for their mistake. I replied saying that they could be sued for this practice, on which another clerk replied that I was speaking with the wrong person and threatened me to talk with their manager. Poor etiquette, and customer management - look for a different store or keep an eye on the items in your ticket - worst experience ever after complaining about a price mistake. *** ******** **** * ******** * **Review fromJuTaun L

1 starOn 08/30/2025 at approximately 6:30 pm I stopped in the Fry's Food and Drug Store at **** * *********** ** in Phoenix for Bottled water and Ice. I was with 3 other family members who had removed their items from the single cart that we shared and used other self check outs to ring up their purchases and went to stand near the door. When it was my turn, I rang up the 40 pk case of water first, then rang up a box of candy, a lunchable, and 2 pkgs of rolled up salami sticks that I purchased when a somewhat hefty sized red-headed man who was working the self check-outs yells from the middle of the self checkout area, to me at the farthest self check-out from him, "Did you pay for that water"? I replied "yes but I do need a bag of ice". Mind you, he could have seen that the water was the first item that I scanned had he walked over to his self check-out post and read his screen insead of trying to create a false impression about me to other people utilizing the self check-outs. He then proceeds to yell at me how to ring up the ice, then after NOT WALKING OVER TO ASSIST ME WITH THE ICE, or anything else for that matter. He then proceeds to walk up behind me, lean over my shoulder and read my screen to make sure that I rang up all of the items. First of all he was in my personal space, second, again he never offered me assistance like he did the white customers. They weren't yelled at, their items weren't slickly verified, and they were offered assistance. I was racially profiled. My money is hard earned and spends just like everyone else's. I have no need nor desire to steal from this store or any other store for that matter, and this shouldn't be my experience when I shop. This is unacceptable. This Fry's needs to do better. I will be contacting your corporate store as well as filing a complaint with them and the BBB.Review fromTasso v.

1 starI was checking out at the Boulder King Soopers on 28th st. When I finished paying, a security guard who was standing near the self-checkout took out his cell phone and took a photo of me before asking to see my receipt. I showed him my receipt and he confirmed I had paid for the 4 items in my hand, and then told me to "go on and get out" when I questioned why he was so concerned with me. I have no issue with him asking for the receipt, but it's a huge invasion of privacy, and frankly quite creepy, to take my picture on his cell phone. The general manager and King Soopers corporate office have refused to do anything regarding this.Review fromVan S
