I scheduled an appointment for Wednesday July 6th and was unable to keep my appointment due to a work related issue. I notified my staylist 3 hours and 59 minutes prior to the appointment that I would need to come later or reschedule. I was charged a $35 cancellation fee, which is understandable, and was rescheduled for 9am the next day. My husband was scheduled for a minor eye surgery at 8am. My plan was to drop him off, go to my appointment, and be back by the time he is in recovery. When I arrived to check him in, I was told that if I left, my husband wouldn't get his anesthesia and surgery would be canceled. I notified my stylist immediately, apologized and asked if I could come immediately after. I was told yes, contacted my stylist at 10:16am asking if I can come at 11am. I got a reply at 12:02pm "hey, no". I reply at 12:07pm " I can do 2:30pm. That will give me time to get husband home after his 1:25pm follow up appointment. Will that work?" I get no reply. At 12:56pm I text again "Could you call me please?" followed by my number. I get no reply and no call but got a charge $65, and a notification that a 20% tip will be added. This is totally not good customer service. I understand business, but this feels like robbery of a vulnerable person with absolutely no remorse. This stylist got $95 from me and I have not gotten a a loc retwist. I wasn't going to get a style, just wanted a retwist. It's a shame too because my first experience was great. I was totally understanding when my stylist was late to my first appointment and didn't call me to let me know until I called and text the stylist. There was no tissue or paper towels in the rest room at my first appointment, and thankfully there was another staff there to let me in the saloon when I arrived. I would not reccomend ******************. Find someone else that is more responsive, communicates well, and will not take advantage of vulnerable people.
