OFFICE HORRIBLE- MONEY BEFORE HEALTH EVEN WITH INSURANCE Thus far, docs are okay. However, the business office don't give two crooked toe nails about the patient. A sense of urgency, coothe, follow thru and advocay are obsolete. My husband was dx w/ prostate c. 11/2024. We're still trying to SCHEDULE the surgery. The office stated until they get the pre-auth back (w/i) 2-3 wks, they will not simply put us on the calendar. I understand needing the pre-auth prior to doing the procedure, NOT SCHEDULING the procedure. My husband has been seen by them consistently since Mar 2024. My husband's c. better not spread waiting on these dumbdumbs. My husband is a 27+ yr. professional with ****** **********. The Urology Group have never had issues with us paying our portion. In this case the Urology Groups office can verify hubby's insurance, schedule surgery, obtain the pre-auth, and do the procedure. Vicki, Office Mgr has been nice and accomodating. I will be reaching out to her. There have been other issues but this one is a lot scarrier. In the meantime, I'm willing to join with others and file a CLASS ACTION! This survey FORCED me to select min. 1 star??. An overhaul of the office staff, and any physician who supports these shannanigands, is needed. UHC needs to advocate thru their provider contracts. Right now, the Urology Group is large, popular, and inappropriately arrogant. Obviously don't care about "losing" a few patients here or there. However, we can change that. I heard U C Health Urology, Dr. R*** is good. Vicki can help.

This place is horrible. Very unprofessional. They aren't there to help you in any way shape or form. You're just cattle to them. I think security sitting at the front desk is the best thing about this place. Im in desperate need of help and they could care less. VERY expensive, inconvenient as well. Ill find real professionals elsewhere.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Dr V*** told me I had a growth on my bladder, this was @ the Blue Ash office. She set me up for a cystoscopy & ultrasound @ Norwood office saying they would take good care of me , since she was going on maternity leave. I told her my PCP told me I had blood in my urine & issues urinating. She said no blood in urine & didn’t address other issues. This was microscopic test done at the ER. Even though I was asked my PCP’s info, my PCP was not given any information concerning this issue. Saw my PCP for pre-op 2 days before procedure. Still wasn’t given name of procedure Dr or time @ Norwood surgery center. Surgery center was suppose to call me for an appointment, but I had to call them more than once. First call I was told I had to get ultrasound before the procedure, then second call was told to get ultrasound day of procedure. Day of procedure, there @ 9 a.m. fir 9:15 appointment. Tech asked if I was seeing nuclear medicine for kidney retention. Rude impersonal nurse in pre-op. Had to walk myself to procedure room. Recovery, again different rude nurse. Took out IV & wrapped my arm as tight as she could with ace bandage. Was suppose to call my fiancé to pick me up, 40 minutes later different nurse said Oh she forgot to call. I was given a pill in recovery to stop the burning from procedure. In both pre-op & recovery you are in a room with other patients separated by curtains so I could hear other nurses talking to their patients & overheard them tell patients that this pill would cause urine to be orange, I was never told anything. Dr said procedure was good that’s it. One Dr says blood in urine other says no. One Dr says growth on bladder & showed it to me in the CT scan, other Dr says no. During the almost 3 months between first being seen in the ER til procedure still having issues urinating & losing weight & nausea. Had to call office to get ultrasound results. No one answered questions. Now they want me to see a NP.

Dr. Roberts*** is wonderful but the billing is a joke and a bunch of crooks. Have been billed multiple times for things I’ve already paid. Have submitted proof of payment and shown where charges for same things have been made to no avail. If you go here, plan to be indebted to them for awhile.

I'm making this comment specific to the Blue Ash Ohio location on Alliance Road. I was a patient at a location for close to 20 yrs and always found the medical care appropriate. This is not a complaint about a particular physician but focuses on: 1) Their abundant need to update and upgrade their medical records system. Unfortunately, they are not a ************ user - the system is clunky and unreliable. My primary care physician and others find it hard to interface with their data. 2) Perhaps a feature of "covid 19" but I've experienced a number of annoying visit cancellations always by snail mail. Unfortunately, again, their portal doesn't allow direct communication with the patient. 3) My last visit had me waiting for the physician for 1 hr 15 m. While I think the world of them, between the cancellations and the wait, I decided to investigate locations nearer to my home. (Some of these were not available when I started with them years ago). 4) Within the past year, I had a "lost PSA" result - and brought it to the practice manager. As a result, I had to make two trips to that location plus the 3rd for the actual appointment. 5) In my experience, I've found the front desk folks and scheduling folks, including check out - abrupt. I'm a professional person so I never say a word to provoke anyone. But, surely, it is very easy to feel like a number in this practice. I'm blessed to understand the stress and a high-paced work environment, yet, I am not sure they truly see how it impacts their customers. I made sure the new location of the Urology Group I have chosen, thankfully nearer home, understands these concerns.

Very grateful for the excellent and expedient care in addressing my kidney stone issue. All staff at the Norwood Center and Blue Ash office were helpful and attentive. Follow-up with Dr N. was very informative. Thanks for the great care and plan to improve my health. I highly recommend this practice.

Billing issue! $35.00 over an appt scheduling issue. Pathetic customer service with runaround and then to top it off downright nasty. Their Representative a supervisor named Susan should be fired for the way she handled my issue. Unbelievable and shameful for such a prestigious group to respond in such a negative manner!
