      This company is trying to rip me off. I had my vehicle towed in for repairs and was given what I thought was an inflated price for the service and labor. I was then called 2 weeks later and told that I owed an additional 3K and needed to put down a deposit for work to be completed. I went into the facility and got a detailed invoice which totaled over 8K to replace a clutch. I was also informed that I could not order the parts myself as they do not accept "outside" parts. Upon reviewing the invoice I noticed that I was charged DOUBLE for every part that was put into the vehicle....LITERALLY. At **** and the ** manufacturer a Flywheel was $611, this place charged me almost $1200 for the part. I will be filing with the BBB and getting my attorney involved if this is not resolved IMMEDIATELY! These people have held my vehicle for over 2 months to complete a job that only requires 6 to 10 hours of labor!

      Do not use. I brought up 2 cars in 2 weeks for oil change. Was told both cars needed brakes. One needed everything on back. Took it to another shop only needed adjustment. Took the other one to a different shop it needed nothing. Needed gas tank replaced.AAA wanted to charge *******. Got it done at another shop for a *******

      I would never use AAA, pay the extra to get road side thru your car insurance. My experience happen when my car slide off the road into a small ravine with water, no deeper than 2 inches. Recently I found this ****************************************************************************** and they reimburse this driver for the same situation . When I called the number on the back and they told me they would not tow it and hung up on me. I was force to pay $1150 out of pocket. I use the contact us thru the site and I was told they would of covered it I just talk to the wrong person. How does not every person have the same information? Now they want reimburse me because its been over two years. I would avoid them at all cost.

      Every AAA club is individually owned and managed and coverages can vary by club. While you can always file for reimbursement coverage will depend on the services provided. If the reimbursement is over 60 days from the date of filing the reimbursement will be denied.

      I understand that, but I called the same day and was denied service. How do I ask for reimbursement if the agent on the phone passes the wrong information to me? I only learned I was due a reimbursement after finding this article and a different agent agreed with it years later. I ask you to make sure every agent know the same information in the future. We pay for your service to protect are self from burdens like my case. I still rate AAA an 0/10.

      We called AAA on Friday 11/17/23 after our teen had an accident on a major highway in a dangerous location. We called this at 3:18 PM. Luckily, we could get to our daughter. The people on the "local" not so local call center gave us bad information when it started to get dark and wanted to leave area. I called the Highway Patrol myself who said they preferred we get off the highway and leave the car. Not the don't leave the car or can be towed by the Patrol. They dispatched the wrong towing company outside their towing radius. When we got a call back about the tow pickup from dispatch, we had been hung up on several times and were aggravated. When we were more assertive and under duress, the dispatcher gave us attitude and quickly responded to the tow truck that we were aggressive and hung up on her. We did receive a call from a "supervisor" who apologized and took the tow of our daughter's allotment. It took from 3:18-7:45 PM for our daughter's truck to arrive home. It was such a dangerous location that the tow truck driver called the patrol to close a lane of the highway to gather her truck. She could have easily been hit by cars going 70 MPH due to a narrow emergency lane if she had stuck her arm outside the window. We have been members for a long time. I have never received this kind of customer service. I am appalled. We pay for extra peace of mind ESPECIALLY for our teen driver. We did not receive that. The apology was considerate but even better would be to train staff.

      On July 1st 2023 I was travel from NY to WV with my grandson, My other older grandson was in our group travel in another car with his family. On Interstate **** ** ***** I got my tire blown. My older grandson called AAA for assistance with and after assurance they coming, my older grandson left because it was unsafe to sit in the car with infant baby. NJ state trooper came to assist safety for me on highway. When AAA came, for some reason he engaged the electric parking on my car, changed the tire and did not disengage that electric parking. My car was beeping like every second, my dashboard screen was like Christmas Tree and AAA worker was ready to leave. I scream for him to stop and asked what is going on with my car?He said 'Don't worry it is a computer resetting itself, you can drive with no problem." I asked "Is it safe to drive?" He said" absolutely, just don't pay attention to all of these." I'm over 65 years old, partially disabled and don't know much about the cars electronics or mechanics, so I believed him. End up driving over 100 miles in horrible weather condition. My all attention was to the road and thanks god I'm and my teen grandson still alive.When I came to PA and stop there was a lot of smock and smell coming from the back of my car. When I tried to park the car there was a knocking noise coming from the car. Next morning I call dealer to help me but it didn't work because the wire of the electric parking was ripped by driving engaged. I called AAA , made a claim. Now It's 2 months they playing with me. Today I received email to go mechanic, fix my car and email them receipt. I'm not able to do it, old lady with $813 widow benefits at month. I did not brake my car they did and now don't know how to survive. Always thought that AAA very reliable company, had previously for 20 years, Already spent thousands renting a car, paying people to buy me a food etc and now I have to fix my car myself.

      I have a huge issue with this driver's ed program The login is impossible. After months of trying to sort it out, with no work being complete and on a 6 mo timeline or having to pay AGAIN, learning it can only be used on a laptop using Chrome (and then logins still take 3-4 attempts). The system should work on a phone. These are TEEN clients! You have to key in the hugely complicated URL, username and password every time. The system doesn't recognize saved passwords or refreshed URLs. By then interest is lost. Logged out and computer was off for a full week. Locked out for a full 24 when logged back on a week later, saying only 4 hours can be completed in 24. The chat help would not unlock the account. They wanted proof, but when proof was provided, they said they could not take photo proof of last login and completion log and it didn't matter that no work was completed in a week, that all that mattered was if the user was logged in. They said the account was logged out incorrectly. The computer was off and logged out for a week! Another week lost. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS DRIVER'S ED unless you want endless frustration and terrible customer service. The local school that offers driving time seems nice but they can't do anything about the online school and don't offer an in-person school. So no help there. I'd choose no stars if I could.

      I have been a longtime member of AAA., over 30 years. I now have a Classic membership.Yesterday, I misplaced my keys to my ****** Corolla 2020. I called AAA, which said it would send a locksmith. Instead, it sent an unprofessional tow truck with a surly driver who was smoking and called me "honey." He said he could look in the truck and in the car for the keys; I told him they weren't there. He said he could tow me to a dealer and figure out how to get a key made. I told him I was declining the tow. In the meantime, a representative from AAA called me on a phone that wasn't working to tell me they made a mistake. A little late to be calling me. Whoever answered the phone should have known that a newer Corolla could not have a key made by some locksmiths. Fortunately, I finally found my keys and am back on the road. Not impressed with AAA's road assistance.************************** Reporter, *** ********

      I started a membership and thought I needed same day service, I was charged $65. I was quoted a 3hr wait time. Immediately my son's car started and I called back right away before a driver was even dispatched for help and canceled the service call. Triple A still charged me the$65 and will not refund my money even though they never called a driver or to assist and service wasn't needed that day. I have called them multiple times and canceled and now I'm being told that I was suppose to have been told that is min refundable. This is robbery!!! Their driver did not come out to help! There was a three hour wait that I canceled right away. He was never even on his way!!

      AAA refusing to return my cancelled membership payment of $189.50. I cancelled the policy on April 30th a day before the new membership was to begin on May 1, 2022. I paid the full amount of the new membership on April 12 and cancelled before the new effective date. I am being told they do not give refunds. Can you believe this??? It is outright robbery. I am writing a formal complaint to the BBB. I have been on the phone all afternoon to no avail. I am not finished with AAA

      No show, been waiting 10 hours today, not even a call. What good is it to have this service? I am canceling in April before my renewal.
