      I was calling to make an appointment and the person they have answering their phones was very rude and unprofessional. I didn’t even get beyond that point, So I know I don’t want that company working on my mouth????

      The dental staff and office staff were polite and friendly. They addressed my dental needs proficiently and with care. The problem was I went for a deep cleaning that requires 2 appointments, I was told it would be $80 each visit. I paid my portion and had the procedure done. I then got text about a balance. I called and they assured me not to worry that they were waiting insurance to come in. I then get a collection call. I was told that I signed a receipt acknowledging I may have amount due. (After my procedure). I asked them to cancel my next appointment and just send me to collections. They are still calling and threatening to send me and did not cancel my appointment. If you are concerned with a budget choose a different office and hope they give you accurate quotes.

      I didn’t have the option of not leaving any stars. Please read whole review: I get to this place I’m already uncomfortable, knowing that every single tooth in my mouth is going to get pulled out that’s a little traumatic and a little scary. I sit in the waiting room, There’s a screaming child, which is a part of life and the receptionist is on the phone very loudly talking she acknowledged me and I sat down. The assistant came out to get me to take me to my room so I can talk to the doctor. I bring My Husband with me to appointments very specifically that caused me extreme anxiety, and she kind of rudely told me that he couldn’t go in the back with me. I understand the procedures, and the way that their policies are, but for somebody with extreme anxiety to tell them that their significant other cannot be there makes it way worse. So when she said he could not come into the back, I said, OK, I’ll go find another oral surgeon and walked out the door. Within seconds, I get a phone call from the receptionist, very rudely telling me that, The assistant was only doing her job and made it look like I was in the wrong for walking out the door. And then she talk to me very slowly like I had special needs and repeated herself like three or four times rudely that she was only following her policy and that I need to do blank, blank, blank to get My Husband to be allowed in there. These people really need to be trained on how to deal with people the anxiety I was not rude with anybody, even though they were very rude with me I would never come to this place if I had to choice to go somewhere else, there’s no reason to treat your patience like that whatsoever. These people really need some sensitivity training on anxiety.

      Doctor Dr. Sofia ******* has constantly canceled appointments without contacting patients and letting them know. Staff does not send out reminders and refuses to reschedule patients after the doctor decides to change her schedule last minute. This office knows that patients need to get new aligners every few months yet hey do not care when they cancel appointments knowing this will affect their teeth and all the money and time it costs.

      Your records are incorrect. AND These issues have happened on multiple occasions so what you are saying is just an excuse to look good on the BBB website. The scheduling system for Orthodontist appointments for *** ***** ******* is not working. The time you cleared the schedule for the birth of her child without notifying ANYONE is well known amongst your patients. I am still in shock that her pregnancy wasn't planned since you did have 9 maybe 8 months to figure things out. I have phone records that prove you DID NOT CONTACT ME to reschedule. Again, this is just one example that this has happened. The last incident involved me forgetting when the appointment was because I had lost the note they had written down for it. Granted that I lost that, Hudac Dental Ortho is the ONLY medical group that I know that does not send out text message, phone call or emails to remind patients of appointments. What is worse is that when i tried calling to get an answer, it took over a week and we ended up having to reschedule because NO ONE called me to provided the date after leaving several several messages.. Being that my daughter NEEDS new aligners each appointment, I was also SHOCKED that no one contacted us for missing the appointment. The ONE time we did get an appointment reminder was months ago and for some reason they texted my child's father who isn't even in her life, but pays for her insurance,, that lives in South Carolina and we are not in touch. Why in God's name would you send a reminder to the father of the child who doesn't even have custody???? I asked them to change this months ago to my number but, again, we got zero reminders still. There is still no way to contact them with questions or concerns, you can ONLY leave messages and they do not return calls OR ever ANSWER which is completely insane, YOU are medical office, do not tell me you don't have the money to hire more. That is a lie. Lets compare phone records. You are 100% lying and would be willing to say this in a court of law. I would like some of my money back for co-pays for my inconvenience and cannot wait until this is over.

      Horrible customer service by the office management and billing operations for the Garfield Heights location. I have pages of conversations following up on billing questions that should have been taken care of with more tact and professionalism. They are very expeditious at making sure that payments for services and future services are paid in advance and timely. However, they are less efficient at explaining their billing procedures and providing timely credit reimbursements for overpayments. I just received a hang-up from the Office Manager inquiring about the credit owed as well as the detailed billing statement, requested three times or more. It seems like she is hiding some billing details or recouping for discount services that should have been previously provided. Following this hang-up experience, my wife spoke with someone from the Call Center for this location and was denied information on my account due to not having a signed consent form on file. My wife has spoken with several representatives in the past times about my account due to my work schedule. I have given consent previously authorizing my wife to call anytime on my account. If nothing was on file before, how could the information be obtained? My wife has also attended some of my appointments and spoke with the Office Manager on several occasions. This is unacceptable and has been an awful experience of the entire company's image for my family and me. One huge bright spot or outlier to the experience for Garfield Heights is the Dentist. He provides fantastic service and is the only reason I have stayed a patient so long with this office. Valuing the customer and providing extraordinary customer certainly needs to be a training area the Office Manager at this location needs.

      I have Aetna dental insurance, which was confirmed at the time of my appointment for a cleaning. They took 4 X-rays & put me in an exam room & went around all of my teeth with a gum gauge. I was then told I'd need several appointments for deep cleanings and I couldn't have a regular cleaning. At this point I left, being told my insurance wouldn't be billed. Well, they billed me $450 & now I find out the provider they put me with is out of network.

      Horrible! I went about a month ago and told them I was having pain in my upper and lower back teeth. They decided it wasn’t my teeth but my gums. They then did a deep clean and my out of pocket cost was well over 300.00. I continued to have pain and another doctor looked and said there was a crack in my tooth. Another 400 dollars to fix. I could not get it fixed because I had spent over 300 for a service I didn’t need. Needless to say I have been in pain for months and taking pain medication. They have charged my insurance and I pray I have enough to go get a second opinion. I am now waiting for an appointment with Cleveland clinic as I am a clinic employee and should have went there first. I do not recommend Hudec. They will take your money and leave you in pain.

      Very nice personnel! Dr. unavailability, multiple instances of rescheduling, and inflexible alternate appointments are all not satisfactory.

      Horrible communication. Felt like the were money seeking even though I have Medicaid. My impression for night guard was taken in March or April and they still have not called for me to pick up. I was denied a deep cleaning from insurance- stating I don’t have bone loss. So I believe that’s why they just disregarded me. I will n calling to find out what charges they sent to Medicaid. Do your homework - no one cares about patients - just money

      I called Hudec Dental on 6/12/23 for information pertains to bisita from 5/22. I spoke with Debbie who tone and professionalism was poor. Dennis refused to listen to what i had to say and kept speaking of a balance. I asked to speak with someone else. Debbie alleged she was the only person. Debbie put me on hold for over 15 minutes to find a. Complain form. Debbie still did have it once back on line. Debbie was very unprofessional. I was not able to get anything solved. Hudec Dental does double billing to Medicaid and Medicare. They bill for fraudulent services never performed.
