I have hired a budget dumpster to remove debris and dirt for a DIY project. They failed multiple times to take the dumpster because of weight issues. They didn't communicate failure reasons but I followed up with them on time and followed their instructions and I sent pictures every step of the way and because of their lack of availability and failure to remove on time, the pickup failed another time. Now, they are charging me for days where the dumpster stayed on my premise (220) and extra failed pickups 150 per trip (total $300). So overall, I hired them to take 24 inches of dirt on a 15-yard dumpster but ended up only removing 2 inches and charging double (the original payment was $500 for the period of 7 days) Event Sequence: I was told I can fill up to 3 feet but so I did 2 feet to be on the safe side then I have to take it down to 12-14 inches. After the 2ndfailed pickup, I took down to 2-4 inches. They approved the second and final pickup by sending them pictures.

The customer is correct that the dumpster was unable to be transported due to overloaded weight. We understand the customer's frustrations, as this is an inconvenience to both them and Budget Dumpster. Multiple attempts were made to retrieve the dumpster in addition to the multiple communications with the customer to offer recommendations for making the dumpster safe and compliant for transporting. The fees mentioned by the customer are valid as Budget Dumpster needs to recoup the expenses and resources associated with the multiple trips to the location. Although we appreciate the customer's concern regarding his visual estimate of the debris in the dumpster, the weight of the dumpster is ultimately determines the overage.
