Financed my jeep compass 10/07/2023, haven’t been a year. First car payment wasn’t due until 11/15/2023. In between, I’ve reached out to Spitzer regarding issues with this jeep. First it was after my very first oil change. Now the problem has persisted because I was advised my warranties expired. I was told this after multiple attempts prior to the warranties expired to have the jeep looked at. I didn’t receive a call back, no email back nothing and I even gave an updated number. When I showed the service department what I was showed at Valvoline, all I got asked was what is that. Excuse me, this department fix cars what do you mean what is that. Long story short I was sold a jeep that’s as is and in reality it’s literally a death trap. The service gear shift message popped up, now it’s no longer there, the oil overheats really bad within seconds, now there’s a hole in my radar hose and I’ve been trying to have it serviced wayyy prior to any of this happening. The radio and uconnect get stuck all the time. Last year, the jeep auto start stopped itself and I rear ended someone twice, because whatever weird reason the jeep was doing something on its own it wasn’t suppose to do. The transmission is overheating now. I have all my oil change receipts, screenshots of me trying to reach out, videos of the radar prior to the leakage and videos of how the oil boils. I can’t even get my serpentine belt/timing belt, or the transmission flush, or the fuel injector because their afraid if they do one thing that’s going to immediately shut the car down or blow it up. I’m literally driving a ticking time bomb and Spitzer and it’s manufacturer Bull;()Ted me and still is so they aren’t responsible to replace what they have to. As a consumer It’s bullsht I see from what I went through and observing all these other comments. We the consumers, make y’all lil businesses. To sit here and say a vehicle as is does not mean you sell *********

I took my 2015 Dodge Dart to Spitzer Motor to have them repair my check engine light, right headlight and repair my car because it was overheating. I was told the problem with the car is it needed a coolant temp sensor & Ambient temp sensor. They replace both parts. I also was told I need to replace the whole right headlight assembly which at the time I decline. The service guy named Dave told me it would cost me $1,000 for the repairs, But when I went to go pick up my car, it was $1,400 that included also for checking out the headlight problem, which was never repaired. Once I receive my car, I took it to the E check place to have it tested and they said the car was not ready yet to be tested. I turned the car off for a few minutes and when I went to go start the car back up it didn’t want to start. I let it sit for a while and it started up as I was driving the car home I had the same problems the check engine light came back on in the car started to heat up, when I took the car back to the dealership, they said they will look over the car again and then they came back and told me that the car needs engine work. I asked for a refund which they refused to give to me. I said they should’ve been able to tell me I needed engine work from when they first inspected the car because it was still overheating. I am not satisfied at this time. They tried to get me to buy another vehicle or put a used engine in my car. I would never go to this business again poor service. This business doesn’t like to accept the blame and also doesn’t like to refund people.

I stopped by spitzer Motor World on brookpark Road where I bought my 2016 Jeep so I can get routine service today, I had bad customer experience by staff member first a young Caucasian 20 something (dirty blonde hair fair skinned he was at the computer terminal closest to the office windows on his right) young man that was eating while talking to me stating "WHAT YOU NEED" instead of HOW CAN I HELP YOU; I replied that I came in for routine maintenance service (oil changes/tire rotation) At point, stated that I should have called I told him that in the past. he rebutted by stating don't you see that we're under construction. I counter rebutted. that I've received emails from their general manager as well as the service department about specials offers etc but under no circumstances was there any verbiage indicating that one the dealership was under construction and two going forward service calls needed to be by appointment only. He then he pointed rudely to a middle-aged woman named "Chris" who was mildly pleasant but yet her demeanor and her body language was rude. who did offer to schedule an appointment and she said that the earliest would be on Wednesday December 15th she gave me various times throughout the day I went ahead and scheduled an appointment but to be honest I don't know if I will be taking my vehicle for routine maintenance at this dealership or returning to purchase another Jeep in the future; as well as referring any family or friends looking for a new vehicle I bought in THREE Jeeps since 2005 from the dealership. as a loyal customer I should not have been treated in this. I feel that in addition to giving the dealership a new look sprucing it up the entire staff especially these two individuals should get retrained and customer service!
