I Was A Tenant Living At **** ****** Rd Apartments Name ******* Way In ******** GA .My Lease Ended In October 2023 I Suppose To Have Received My Deposit But I Never Gotten It.It Been About A Year And Some Months But I Never Received It.I Call The Number And Everytime I Call I Got Transferred To A Call Center I Left Message after Message No one Never Responded...I Remember One Time This Company Mistake Me For Another Tenant Telling Me I Old Them They Put Me In The Collection The People In The Collection Company Call Me And Explain To Me About The Letter I Had Received In The Mail And Did A Full Investigation And Found Out I Didn't Old Anything And Close My Case.This Company Did A Lot Of Hurtful Things To Me For One Trying To Mess Up My Credit So I Can't Rent From Any Other Landlord I Rented Two Full Years With This Company I Paid My Rent On Time I Was Never Late.The First Time I Rented From This Company I Had No Problem's Getting My Deposit Back But The Second Time This Company Really Did Screw Me Around.I Just Want My Deposit My Lease Say I Should Have Received My Deposit Within 30 Days It's Been A Year And MonthsInitial Complaint

I am a previous resident of ******** at ******** ********* Apartments in ****, OH, ***** (Apartments are under the management of Live Millenia Housing). I returned the keys to my apartment on 10/31/2024 to the main office. I gave them the address to my new place of residence and was told that my security deposit would be mailed. I waited 30 days which is the time frame that the business has to return my deposit in the state of Ohio. I called ******** at ******** ********* to notify them that the 30-day window has closed and I still don't have a refund for my security deposit. They told me that I would need to get in contact with their corporate office, Live Millennia Housing. Live Millennia Housing has failed to provide my security deposit refund of USD 900.00 within 30 days from the lease end date of 11/01/2024, nor have they provided any information concerning my deposit. I have tried multiple times to contact the corporate office via the number and email listed on their website about this situation and have not received a response. I initially contacted them on 12/02/2024 and was greeted by a call agent who took my information and said they would leave a message for the office to call me back. I continued to call for the rest of that week during their listed business hours and every call ended with me leaving a message with the call agency. I emailed them twice, once on 12/04/2024 and then a follow-up email on 12/06/2024 when there was no response to the first email. I even called VFC again on 12/06/2024 to ask if they could also try to leave a message with the corporate office that I was trying to get in contact with them. This is my last resort to get in contact with them about my security deposit.Initial Complaint

My complaint is for not recieving my security deposit back from my previous residence (The Ella Apartments **** **** ** ********** *****) i was told by the apartment managers that i would recieve my full deposit back($692) 45 days after my move out date which was September 16, 2024 (move in date was October 24th 2022) and i still have not recieved my deposit. I have tried to contact Millinia Corporate office twice and have been redirected to their call center in which i left 2 messages with no call back. June 28, 2024 I moved out. NO damages were occurred.I have my ledger stating that! Your property manager even says that I don't own anything. First, Kendra ****** ( You're a property manager from Silverstone town homes Lansing, Michigan) tells me that my deposit was forfeited! Once , I pointed out In the least, there is no statement anywhere.Stating that you forfeit your.Deposit nowhere Does it state that in your guys is lease. That's when her story changed to she NOW MAILED the security deposit the FORWARDING address.Kendra ****** didn't even have a forwarding address for me. I lived at your property Silverstone.Townhomes in Lansing, Michigan for 2 and a 1/2 years. That was my ONLY address. Once I left your property Silverstonetown homes, me and my children were HOMELESS.I was called BLACK AND GHETTO By your property manager. I had no FORWARDING address. Asked her To show me some type of documentation stating that forwarded my deposit to some unknown address. She refused. I contacted My local Post Office. They have no idea what she's talking about. There is no Mysterious mail waiting for me there Because (Kendra ****** ) never mailed me my Security deposit. If there really was a check issued out you guys should be able to look up those numbers to see if the The check was even cash.Then you will see the check was never received. So therefore it was never mailed. If you guys could please reissue the check.And send it to the correct address. Or I can come up to the office silverstone townhomes and pick up the check for my security deposit?! I will continue to press the issue about this matter. Until it is resolved Because my Hard Earn security deposit deposit was wrongfully taken from me. Me and my children was wrong for the ************* against. Your property manager kendra ****** needs to take another fair housing class! Here at the Marc Apts needs & work status are Unsatisfactory, The parking gate is broken, stuck in the open position also Darkness prevails in the parking lot cars already been vandalized we shouldn't have to live in Darkness/ fear also the interior of the building can be cleaner/ the exterminator needs to be more frequent , the property manager is pretty good but issues are abundant and does not meet expectationsBusiness Response

Please be advised that the gate was repaired on 9/4/24. A security audit was performed with the Cleveland police department and I also performed a lighting audit yesterday while on the property. It was found that all lights are functional and lighting the areas adequately and well. This was reviewed again this morning with a member of the board. We are adjusting the timers for the earlier loss of day light and longer darkness.Initial Complaint

This business is not compliant with housing code for the state of Indiana. Numerous tenants have made requests for maintenance to repair leaking plumbing, ceiling collapse, debris, and mold which has caused tenants health issue. The phone for the property office does not get answered and voicemails are not returned. The requests for maintenance issues have not been resolved. One tenant and her disabled daughter have slept in their vehicle in the parking lot in this high heat due to the mold in their apartment. Another tenant whom is wheelchair bound, has had the ceiling fall due to a plumbing leak from the unit above and there is molded debris that has water leaking onto it making a sludge for this woman to have to manuaver her wheelchair through. I moved out of ********* Town Homes on 05/02/2024. I filled out the required paperwork to get my security deposit refunded. After 40 days I contacted management at ********* and told them I have not received my deposit back. She (Margie) she would contact management and take care of it. after another visit to the office on 06/16/2024 I talked to the manager and she took my information as to where I moved and called the management office,came back and told me I would have my deposit back by the end of June. It is now the second week of July and have not received my deposit back and all my contact efforts have been ignored.Business Response

My husband and I lived at ********* Village Apartments in Cleveland, OH for about a year and a half. We moved out Dec 2023. We were told by ********* Village apartments we would be getting the full deposit from Millenia Housing Management once a month was out, since we left the apartment in excellent condition. We have called multiple times, both ********* villages and Millenia and neither can tell us who we need to reach out to. Millennia tells us that the people who can give us our deposit back are currently on vacation for an undisclosed period of time. We are owed $500 for our security deposit. It is past 6 months since we are due our deposit.Business Response

I will note we still never got contacted by the business despite 15-20 phone messages left at their call center over 7 months which feels very unprofessional and makes me think the call center isn’t there for any sort of resolution of problems and just there to limit further action by customers - unfortunate for customers and call center employees alike. But regarding our money we got our full deposit and then some per guidelines since it was 7 months late.
Thank you very much for your assistance in this matter, it definitely wouldn’t have been resolved otherwise.

My dying mother had to move out of her HUD apartment, ********* ****r, in Avon Lake due to illness and being placed in hospice. I cleared her apartment in mid May and was told we would receive the security deposit shortly. I have spoken with the new manager Rob and he keeps telling me he is waiting to hear from his supervisor, but that I should have the check by now. The deadline has passed and I cannot get anyone to answer the phone or send me the check. This is ridiculous and wrong.
