      I opened Victoria's Secret card with this bank. They rejected payments to make revenue on fees. I had to call and pay the balance out of the same account with a debit card. I paid the balance in full. The next month I get a bill for 2.00 which I schedule a payment for out of our bank account for and they reject it again! Now my "balance" is apparently 52.00 from this aggressive fee revenue-generating bank. They closed my account after a hard credit pull and said my payments were "returned" out of an account with over two thousand dollars in it! It is the same account I paid them with a debit card from.

      Comenity Bank erroneously assessed a late fee of $29.99 and interest in the amount of $2.38 to my Roaman's credit card (a/c# xxx-x1-570) on 8/28/21 due to a refund processing error. I paid $35.98 which represented complete payment due on the account and subsequently closed the account on 7/20/21. Despite email confirmation from Roaman's on 7/28/21 that the credit refund in the amount of $102.77 related to order # *********** was processed, it did not post to my account until recently. Comenity was contacted repeatedly about their error and they refuse to acknowledge the proper disposition, namely removing these erroneous charges, which will zero out my balance. There is nothing due on this account and any attempt to continue to collect amounts to fraud.

      On 9/16/2021 I reached out to Boscovs Credit Services to potentially get a refund on fees. I satisfied the balance, however the gentlemen on the phone offered no help. Initially I spoke to someone from the collections dept who stated they would refund the fees since the original balance if I was able to pay. I am struggling financially and I cannot afford to waste money on fees. I am writing this in hopes of an amicible resolution and exception.

      Hello, I was approved a $400 line of credit at Ulta through Comenity Bank a few months back. I have been making my payments on time every month and at the end of August I should of had an available credit of close to $70. Comenity pulled my credit report and saw I had bad credit , which was the same info I had when they first approved me for the $400,and decided to decrease my credit limit by $50 putting my account into a negative amount, so when I made the payment for the month of September, that $35 payment I made brought my acct out of negative with available credit of only $16. They did not notify me about this change, not by mail or email.

      On Aug 13, 2021 I paid the full balance owed on my credit card (My Place Rewards) acct. On Aug 16, 2021 I contacted the customer service for Comenity Bank to close my account. I first confirmed (thru the automated system then with a live representative) that my account balance was $0. The representative then confirmed closing my account. On Sept 15, 2021 I received an email stating I have an account balance due of $2 that needed to be paid by Sept 19th. I checked my account online and it showed they charged me $2 interest on 8/25/21. I called customer service who informed me they charged me the interest even though I closed the account as part of "their billing cycle". And the account is closed! They refused to reverse this charge and further stated I will be charged a late fee if not paid by the 19th.

      This company has been nothing but trouble since the day I ordered from them. Over a year ago I ordered 6 items a few of those items were on backorder, a few of them came. I tried them on they didn't fit I sent them back. It's pretty cut-and-dry. After months of waiting for the things that were on backorder they never came. I have a postcard from them saying that those items on backorder were canceled. So at the end of the day I had 2 items that were $9.99 each. I am being charged a $160 which I have refused to pay because I do not owe them. Roman's as you can see in my proof of speaking with the customer service representative who acknowledge receiving the items that I sent back. And acknowledge the other items on backorder were canceled he or she also promised a correction in my bill that has yet to happen. I am still charged for products that I don't have that were returned and or never received. It is negatively affecting my credit report it is unfair.

      Last Spring (2020) during the pandemic I called to have my account put in a 1-year hardship program. An employee mistakenly put me in 5-year program. Ive called the company numerous times asking them to reverse their mistake. They reopened my account after viewing the recordings for a short period and then closed it again. Once again I have called, sent letters, etc as I did not ask for my account to be closed and it was their mistake. Still no response. I have been a loyal credit card member with the company for over 10+ years and closing my account for a mistake on their end is unfair. This card has been one of my longest credit cards so now my credit has been effected. As a loyal customer, I do not appreciate being treated this way and I really do not appreciate being ignored for a mistake that the company made. I would never recommend them to anyone after this.

      comenity bank has been giving me that same response since they messed up my account a year ago and nothing has been resolved.

      I received a credit statement dated 7/7/21 from Comenity Bank showing that I owed them a balance of $56.28 on my Jessica London account. It also showed the billing/payment due date as 8/2/21. I went to their website on 7/8/21 & scheduled the full balance to be paid on 7/9/21. When I received my 8/7/21 statement it did not show a zero balance, but that I owed them a minimum interest charge of $2. I wrote to them through their secured website and explained the situation. They wrote back saying they charged me correctly, because I did not pay the full balance by the billing due date. I wrote them back reiterating that I paid my full balance before the due *********** must have read my communication incorrectly or misunderstood what they read. I attached documents & asked for the matter to be reviewed again. I have not received a response, but another **** dated 9/6/21 showing that I now owe them $6. How can I ever pay this account off if they won't accurately apply my payments?

      Couch was purchased and paid off on 4-1-2021. Months later 6-1-2021, I have a charge for $22. 48 which I was told was interest that hadn't been settled even though I had paid the account balance in full and the account was closed back by comenity back in January. Got a remark on my credit today 9-14-21 for being 30 days late. Told it was interest not settled. The account is closed and the balance and interest they claimed had already been paid. Lost 16points on my credit report due to their error. Charges were reversed but they said they can't fix the note on my credit.
