1 starPet Insurance absolutely fraudulent. My cat had a VIRAL gastrointestinal infection. They denied my claim because 6 MONTHS earlier at a wellness check up he was "anxious and had soft stool." They claimed these were "pre-existing conditions." Neither of these issues were related to him catching a viral infection in the future. **************** refused to let me speak to anyone else and refused to provide me the credentials of the person who was making this "medical decision." Do not use this company.Review fromJonathan S

Nationwide is a horrible company, Live in ************* and the representatives with Nationwide are NOT on your side. Storm damage in this neighborhood (documented storm) heavily damaged every roof in this subdivision and my roof was the worst. They all have an insurance company that supported them and got their roofs replaced. No not my insurance company, (Nationwide) this company does not support its customers. They did just the opposite. Please remember this when it's time to renew your home insurance.Nationwide

Nationwide is not a good company. They use gaslighting tactics, are not honest and are only out for profit not actual insurance coverage. I tried to record a walk through with adjuster manager because they were purposely not accounting for things in a property damage claim. They sent a contractor in to inventory and store personal belongings that were damaged. The contractor threw everything in a dumpers and took things he wanted home and didnt account for them. I shared this information with nationwide and they told me he was not apart of nationwide and to file a police report. Not two days later they attacked me and claimed I committed insurance fraud and dropped the claim and didnt pay for my personal belongings that the contractor threw away or took home. There is no appeals when you report managers of nationwide they are all in it together and they have meetings to either pay you what you feel you deserve or try to find a way out of paying all together. Not a good company the whole experience was out of bad faith.Nationwide

Horrible...Horrible...company! Don't waste your time or money. I've filed homeowner claims with this company, over and over again, only to be denied. I recently had to file a claim for water damage due to an overflow air conditioning unit. The house is damaged. I've taken pictures, had an engineer take pictures, Nationwide's engineer then took pictures. I've had two claims adjusters. I've had to pay over ****** out of pocket, to have my home repaired. Every time I file a claim, there's some lame excuse on why I'm denied. I'm tired of being taken advantage of, by Nationwide. I'm finding another company. Nationwide Insurance is a SCAM! I have PICTURES, i HAVE MY OWN ENGINEERING REPORT. After their denial, they tole me that they would look at previous claims I've filed, to make a determination concerning this claim. What???? They also told me I would have to pay around 900 dollars, to get another opinion by my own engineer. What???!!! DO NOT USE NATIONWIDE. i AM TIRED.Nationwide

Account is set to autopay. Received emails that autopay is enabled. Nationwide did not charge the primary account and instead hit me with $15 fees two months in a row.Nationwide

We bought travel insurance underwritten by Nationwide. We cancelled our trip for medical reasons on 1/3/2025 and filed a claim. It took 3 months, innumerable phone calls and a complaint to the Colorado Division of Insurance to finally get paid.Nationwide

Horrible company. I filed a claim because there appeared to be some water damage in my basement. The company themselves sent out a contractor to inspect the damage. Guy came out, looked at my entire foundation inside and out, said that it wasn't damaged just wet and if I dried it out it would be fine. (A spigot had failed, we completely replaced).Nothing needed repaired. He took pictures, wrote a report and sent it back to nationwide. I called to confirm and was told they could just cancel the claim. 5 months later I get a notice that they're going to drop my insurance because I didn't have the foundation repaired. I called and was told the "underwriters" wanted pictures of the "damage and/or repairs". I said fine. Took and sent pictures of the completey dry undamaged wall and sent them in. When I got an email back that they denied my photos I called customer service. They said the "**********************" wouldn't accept the type of photos I sent, so I had to send them through customer service. They kept me on hold while talking to the "underwriters" and came back saying they don't accept the photos and to fix the damage. I said YOU sent out a contractor to inspect the property, who determined there was no damaged, sent photos and a report HIMSELF. What exactly am I supposed to fix? Agent said "I don't know, that's what the "underwriter" said." She wouldn't clarify with them and when asked to speak to the "underwriter" was told "they don't deal with customers". No wonder, cause they're morons. How exactly is someone supposed to fix something that isn't broken? Continue to raise my premium, don't do anything to fix any issues or reasonably communicate with customers, then drop them after 5 years. We had 2 homes and 2 vehicles with them, switching and NEVER going back. Wish I could get my 5 years worth of their joke of insurance back. Do not use them for insurance!Nationwide

Horrible. I have them cancel my renters insurance on an apartment I had. Kept getting charges FOUR years after I moved from the apartment into a house. Only would refund a portion of it. It also took forever for a confirmation on the cancelation. Told me they wouldnt cancel it until I showed them proof of my lease ending in my apartment in 2021. Would never recommend.Nationwide

I have Nationwide for my home and 2 dogs! They are absolutely horrible! I just paid close to 10K for a 4 month old puppy to have emergency surgery after my Vet urged me to go to the ** after XRay views. I put him on my policy the day I got him and felt confident I was covered since he is a frenchie I was nervous hearing about their health issues they actually changed the diagnosis that 5 doctors disputed and would not pay my claim plus added more diagnosis as pre existing conditions that were not even in his records so basically he is not insurable now thanks to Nationwide and their pompass ignorance not to mention the immoral and unethical altering of a diagnosis.Nationwide
