In November 2021, BBB opened an investigation into this company due to the number of complaints and customer reviews we recieved concerning the business' practice of charging a 25% cancellation fee, and failure to repsond to calls and requests for asistance from their customers. BBB through Google maps confirmed the address the business uses is a UPS store, a mail receiving and forwarding company. BBB also asked for and received a copy of the business contract.
When making a decision as to whether to use this company consumers should carefully consider their contract which reads in part:
"CANCELLATION FEE: We do not require a deposit however we strictly enforce our cancellation fee If a complete job is cancelled after work is authorized by signature below or email authorization a 25% of contact cancellation fee will be assessed and must be paid at the time fo the cancellation.
Completion of Contract: After customer authorizes work crew may show up unannounced to perform service unless noted otherwise....Customer agrees to allow 30 days for job completion.
Stump Grinding: Unless specified in the contract/estimate, stump removal/grinding is not included in the price estimated and is a separate service/job. Grindings from stump removal are not hauled and will be left on work site. Please allow 10 days for stump griding services ...weather permitting."
