    Sept 12, 2023 bought a 2015 Maserati and traded on a 2016 Camero plus 14000 down payment. Shaffer auto group did not pay off the auto loan I had with Wright-Patt Credit Union. Then 2 months later called me to say they went out of business. The loan should have been paid in 2 weeks but I had to go back to them to get a check of $600 to make the payments twice.

    I am paying for a car loan ($560) I don't have which was sold to someone else and they are unable to get it titled cause my bank has the title. This has been going on si ce September 12, 2023. Plus I put down $13,500 on the car when I traded it in. Will I get back all the money I put into the car?

    I purchased a used 2014 Dodge Durango from Shafer Auto on May 7, 2023. I almost did not go through with the purchase when I witnessed white smoke come out of exhaust the day I left the lot with it. I was assured that if anything was wrong they would "take care of it". On June 17th the vehicle overheated and coolant is sprayed out all over the engine compartment. I called Shafer to advise as such and all they are doing to "take care of it" is to offer 30% off. Mind you, I've already had to take it back due to a broken seat belt and and alignment. I understand I declined the warranty but we're taking barely having the vehicle one month, putting very little wear on it and being verbally assured you would be taken care of (apparently only to push a purchase of a faulty vehicle) if in fact anything was wrong. Shafer auto is not standing by their word or selling quality used automobiles and the public needs to know to be warned... DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THIS COMPANY

During our conversation you refused to bring a vehicle here for repairs and in very rude manner was demanding a straight answer that our facility could fix a vehicle for free. We love helping our customers, we do understand that you didnt want to purchase extended warranty, but we are still here to help!     On January 6th 2023, i purchased a truck from shafer auto group. The truck was bought sight unseen due to me living 10 hours away. I was told by the car lot that the only thing wrong with the truck was a scuff on the door handle. I didnt expect it to be perfect. Its a 2018 truck. A few days later, we finalized the deal. After that, there was no contact. The truck showed up about 6 days later on a trailer, at 10pm, on a Saturday. I had no idea it was coming because of no response from salesman. Upon arrival, truck had a broken mirror light. The brake pads and rotors on the front and back were completely worn out. The steering wheel airbag cover was also craked. Fog lights didnt work and rock chips all over the truck that were poorly touched up. 2 days later the saleswoman called me and accused me of doing all of those things. It also arrived with no paperwork or temporary tags. It was approximately 5 days before i could even drive it because no one would return calls or emails about my request for tag and paperwork associated witb the buying process. Here we are, march 2nd 2023 amd i still have no title, no purchase paperwork, or any reimbursement for the money i had to spend on repairs. Which is about $1,000so far, with about $7 to $800 more to soend. The check engine light has came on and had to be put in the shop. $1,600 bill but was covered inder factory warranty. My temp tag expires on March 4th 2023. Ive attempted to contact several times via email and phone and still have no answers. I am facing titling fees in my state because i am past the 30 days required by the state of Missouri. This has been a nightmare. Almost 2 months and i have no purchase paperwork, registration paperwork, facing late fees from dmv, amd have spent alot of money, and yet, nothing has been done to help this situation.

    Hello ******, we apologize for the inconvenience. I talked to a general manager and he stated that he was in touch with you. Title was produced last month and mailed to you. Attached is the image of the memorandum title. I know that we did video walk around of the vehicle with you as well as we displayed over 50 photographs of the vehicle on our website. We work very hard to make every transaction pleasant and describe at our best. We answer our phones daily seven days a week during business hours. We are sorry that truck was delivered to you late in the evening, but we were trying to get it to you asap as well as we don't have a control of the third party shipping companies. We are glad that warranty covered repairs on the vehicle. Also out of courtesy we would like to issue $500 refund for the inconvenience. If this satisfy your resolution we can mail out a check.

    I am rejecting this response because: I feel at this time, $500 is not enough compensation for my troubles amd repair cost. I am still not able to register my vehicle.  Still waitimg for title applications from the dealer. I paid for that service already and it has not been completed. I will be facing penalties because i could not register in the allotted time. The offer is going to have to be more.

    As we mentioned before title was produced, document was attached. If you feel like there is a fee affiliated with your title we would be more than glad to reimburse you on top of the $500 buyer satisfaction refund. You mentioned earlier that dealer covered the repairs, do you have the receipt for the other repairs that was out of pocket? If so please attach it so we can forward to our payables for consideration.
