1 starDue to their bankruptcy, stores are closing left and right without warning. I ordered online and received an item that didnt fit me. I wanted to return it in store. I visited three different locations, only to find them all gone permanently. Express website indicates these stores are still operational! I made reasonable efforts to return this item- with the tags on- only to be told that their return window is actually 30 days from the shipping date, not the date of receipt, which is very predatory. They would not make any exceptions for me being one day past this window, even considering that I was sent on a wild goose chase to multiple locations that had been vacated. They should NOT advertise that you can return in store when they are shutting down so many locations while still advertising them as open. If the Express website had indicated to me that these stores were closed, I would have initiated a mail-in return much sooner, because I would have known I had no other option. Instead, I was misled into thinking the store was still open and available. This seems like fraudulent activity to trick people into keeping items they dont want. There should be a class action lawsuit over this as I see multiple other customers with the same problem.Review fromJoy M

Placed an online order and got it a full week laternot ideal, but fine. Two of the items didnt work out, so I chose the Return to Store option, thinking I could exchange or browse alternatives. According to their website, there were multiple store locations nearby. Guess what? Every single one of them was permanently closed. Cool.I drove to an outlet store (the only one left standing), where I was informed they dont accept online returns. So basically, the website lied, wasted my time, and sent me on a tour of their ghost town locations for ************ step: call customer service. I asked to switch my return to a mail-in. They said I couldnt, because the 30-day return policy starts from the order date, not when you actually receive the items. And the return has to be received back within that window. I was still within my 30 daysbarelybut apparently, if you want to return anything by mail, you needed to know you hated it and get a return label over a week in advance. So unless shipping is lightning-fast in both directions, and you try on your clothes the second they hit your doorstep like its a timed game show, youre out of ******* recap: misleading store listings, rigid and unrealistic return policy, and customer service that shrugs while your money evaporates. I know Express is circling the drain financially, but tricking your dwindling customer base into keeping stuff they dont want? Bold strategy. Lets see how that works out for you.Express

1 starOrdered a very expensive suit, days later i got a $100 off suit coupon. I called and asked to get a credit back and they insisted i return it instead. **************** was extremely rude and when i asked for a manager she couldn't muster any response better than pre written scripted response. 1 starIf I could leave ZERO I would. Be VERY cautious ordering from this company! It is NOT the same Express from years ago. There return policy is 30 days from SHIP date - NOT when you receive the items and not 31 days. They make ZERO exceptions - not even for an even exchange.I contacted them 1 day after the window (shipped the 2nd, called the 2nd) to make an exchange and they would do nothing!I will not be supporting this company any longer.Review fromAngelique S

1 starTerrible company to order online from. My package was shipped to the wrong address and they said that *** could change the address. So I contacted *** to make the change for the address, they said The Shipper which is EXPRESS has to change it. I ended up having the order held at a *** pickup site for the max number of days just so it could get returned to the sender ( EXPRRSS ) after it was returned to sender, I called and gave them the correct address again. But they still sent the package back to the wrong address. They will not admit they are in the wrong. The customer service at this place is like talking to a brick wall. You literally get nowhere with them. Now, Im still stuck with no merchandise and a bunch of lies from the customer service department. I dont recommend using the online ordering.Review fromTerry G

************************** has horrible customer service. They sent me the completely wrong item. After them admitting that they sent me the wrong item and a long argument with customer service, their only solution was for me to pay them more for a shipping label to ship the wrong item back first... and then once they receive it back to prove I'm not going to try to keep the wrong shirt that isn't even in my size, they will refund me for the original purchase and extra shipping they charged me to send it back. Then I have to go online and reorder/repay for the correct item and wait for it to be shipped to me all over again. What ***********.Express

Just had the worst customer service experience ordered two pairs of pants with vests one was damaged. Call to complain sent photos spent over 30 minutes on the phone. Customer *** said they were sending out week later. I never received called again. Told me they were out of stock and apparently was never ordered or shipped, then said I can send them back for a refund. I asked for a shipping label or free shipping to return. They told me to send back and call again after my second phone call of 20+ minutes worst customer service ever will never buy anything from them again.Express

Bad experience, I would not recommend to buy from online. I didnt receive my package after that I talked to them they said that first you have to contact ************ after that when they gave me ticket for lost packag.still I didnt get my refund. This is the worst company ever. I never face this situation from other company.Express

Bought 2 sweaters, the sweater has silver in it and unravels and leaves strings on your sweater. They were $60 each! Very poor quality! I have the receipt but did not keep tags as I thought I was going to love the sweaters till I wore them! They are not 30 days past purchase! So far customer service Has not been good!Express
