Looking to purchase a new LEMON vehicle from a local used car dealer who is a CROOK, CON MAN and a RIPOFF ARTIST? Look no further!! **** will happily lie to you and take your money while delivering you a used LEMON. **** recently took advantage of a widowed single mother with a one-year-old child whose dad was killed in a motorcycle accident before he was born. **** did not disclose that her new purchase had been in a previous crash nor did he disclose that this vehicle came from Canada. **** greatly undervalued her trade-in.

Other major issues were as follows:

    1. Oil change required. Not done.2. Need 2nd key. Never provided.3. Passenger side vents blow hot air all the time. Mom paid to fix.4. Transmission fluid was a quart low. The cap looked as if it had never been removed. You could not read the “Transmission Fluid” letters in bright yellow on the top until after I cleaned it. It does not shift right when out on the freeway. Mom added. 5. Gas tank was not full as promised. This vehicle has an 18-gallon tank. We went down the street and put 19.329 gallons in it. $80.00, Mom bought. **** did send her a check for the gas. LOL!! 6. Trailer hitch was not painted as promised. 7. Model year was conveyed incorrectly. **** told the mom that she was getting a 2015 vehicle when she in fact was getting a 2013 vehicle. ****s claims she was told correct model year. 8. Check tire light was on. 10 pounds of air in tires that require 51 pounds. Mom fixed. 9. No valve stem covers. Mom fixed. 10. Turn signal on drivers’ side front inoperative. Bulb was burnt into socket as well as being burnt out. Mom fixed. 11. Drivers side headlight comes and goes. Never repaired.

Thank you for your time in advance in regards to the complaint against myself and **** ******* *** **.  I have copy and pasted the complaint below and my response to each item will be in bold.

This vehicle was purchased AS IS, no warranties.  The customer signed documents that stated that they were buying the car AS IS (See document "As is dealer warranty Disclaimer "and also "Buyers guide") The car was purchased on August 23, 2022.  Shortly thereafter I started receiving phone calls about several different issues.  Because of our history (**** was a past customer and we had always been on good terms) and even though we had agreed on an AS IS purchase, I decided, in good faith, to help him and his friend, ******* **** out further. On a side note, when these issues were brought up to me, I did everything in my power to fix it for them, even though I was not required to do so by law. (description of AS IS is written on paperwork for you to read)

I have included 4 screen shots on some text conversations around Sept 5 showing that I was more than willing to help them with the problems they were having with the car.

Other major issues were as follows:
    1. Oil change required. Not done. There was never a promise of an oil change nor documentation between the two parties that an oil change was to take place.

    2. Need 2nd key. Never provided. There was never a 2nd key promised in any conversation between us.

    3. Passenger side vents blow hot air all the time. Mom paid to fix. I was not aware that the passenger side vent in the dash was not operating. SO I decided to fix it and took it to the ***** *** ****** for repair. I can provide a receipt for that repair if required ( I currently do not have the receipt but have a call into them for them to send it to me)

    4. Transmission fluid was a quart low. The cap looked as if it had never been removed. You could not read the “Transmission Fluid” letters in bright yellow on the top until after I cleaned it. It does not shift right when out on the freeway. Mom added.
When **** told me about the transmission fluid, I recall asking my mechanic about that and was advised that those units in these Lincoln's are sealed and are not supposed to be filled.  On a side note, I tested this vehicle and the transmission worked perfectly...I never had any problems with it.

    5. Gas tank was not full as promised. This vehicle has an 18-gallon tank. We went down the street and put 19.329 gallons in it. $80.00, Mom bought. **** did send her a check for the gas. LOL!! When the gas tank issue was brought to me, I realized that I did say I would fill it up but I had forgotten. I then reimbursed her fully for $80.00

    6. Trailer hitch was not painted as promised. They had asked about the trailer hitch not being painted.  I did remember that I told them I would paint it (but this statement was made in earlier talks about the car)...so I drove to her house (just like I did on every other repair. ie, she never came to me, I always drove to her house), picked up her car, had it painted, and brought it back.

    7. Model year was conveyed incorrectly. **** told the mom that she was getting a 2015 vehicle when she in fact was getting a 2013 vehicle. ****s claims she was told correct model year.  As reflected in every piece of paperwork, the vehicle was a 2013.  Not once did I tell them that this car was a 2015.

    8. Check tire light was on. 10 pounds of air in tires that require 51 pounds. Mom fixed. I have no recollection of the tire light being on.  If I would have known the tire light was on, I would have put air in the tires.

    9. No valve stem covers. Mom fixed. Once again, this car was sold AS IS and the customer did not bring up the valve stem covers (which cost $2 for a pack of 4) to me at the time of sale.

    10. Turn signal on drivers’ side front inoperative. Bulb was burnt into socket as well as being burnt out. Mom fixed. I was not aware of the turn signal being out.  If asked, I would have replaced this $3 bulb for the customer.

    11. Drivers side headlight comes and goes. Never repaired. I was not aware of the headlight.  When made aware, I went over, picked up the car at her house and had it repaired. (See Napa receipt)

Please let me know if you need anything else from me in regards to this complaint.  I really don't want this to be a stain on my name and my company.  I have worked very hard to run my business with integrity and care for my customers.

    Thank you,

All I can say is "Liar, Liar Pants on FIRE!" I stated accurate and true FACTS. Anyone can respond and say they are inaccurate. This man is an out right CROOK, THIEF and LIAR. If my statement is not true and accurate then he can sue me for slander and liable which he will never do. **** *******' s day of reckoning is comming and he will have so much bad publicity from this that he will wish he had done the right thing and took care of this woman. Shame on you **** *******. I realize that there is very little that the BBB can do but at least the complaint is on record. Thank you...
