    12/08/2022 I visited KFC and was told my order was $11.55 but when I arrived at the window she quoted an even number. Red flag. I requested a receipt. She then proceeded to fumble around and said she needed to get fresh fries and pulled me around assuring me the receipt would be in the bag. Upon receiving my order, cold fries mind you, and about 10 cars that went through the line, I looked at said receipt and saw she automatically donated .45 cents to the KFC Foundation. This is fraud and a crime. She didn’t even ask and I’m sure when I post this video I’m not the only one she has done this to. I do not donate to businesses so that they can turn around and get a tax write off. This entire store needs to be investigated and this employee, *********, needs to be reprimanded for actions. It’s sad to think about all the customers she has done this to.

    My name is ******* and I am the General Managers for the KFC in Groveport that you visited on 12/08/2022. 

    I received your statement of the issue that you had at my store.. I called and left a voicemail at the number ###-###-#### this morning to discuss the issue.

    I want to apologize on behalf of my staff for the .45 cents KFC Round up. My staff is trained to ask each and every customer if you would like to round up their total to our KFC Foundation and Local Charities. I truly believe that ********* did not intentionally round up your total as it is a pop up that comes up on our screen that says yes or no and she would have accidently clicked yes to round up in a hurry.  

    Again, I do apologize for this and I offer to give you a refund of the .45 cents or I can give you a free two piece meal the next time you visit. Please let me know what I can do for you.

    I appreciate you bringing this to my attention.
