A year ago, Allied removed rock driveway and put base and asphalt down. Paid over $10k and driveway is already cracking all the way down one side of driveway and almost all edges. Unreal. Had them apply a sealant at their recommended time, which is the worst job I have ever seen. It has sway marks back and forth all over our driveway with sloppy blotches of sealant all over. They poured buckets instead of spraying. Makes us sick to look at it when the sun hits it with all the sway marks from the squeegees. Missed some areas and they waited over a year to apply the sealant. Driveway is not smooth at all like it was first put down. Has several depressions especially where they hit one of our solid drainage pipes during excavation. Terribly disappointed. Will be using a different company for future repair and sealings.

Contracted allied to have a driveway expanded and replaced. Twice they had to come out to add new base because it was laid uneven and storms damaged the base. After the driveway was laid; storms showed an uneven spot. Had to contact them again to come out and survey the issue. The install team came out to patch the area and left a large spot that looked bad. Since then, parts of the driveway are discoloring and greying out. Its been less than 2 weeks since the project was finished, the only resolution offered is free seal coating next year and $300 off now. Thats 3% of total bill. Im left with a 9000 new driveway that doesnt look 2 weeks old.

We had Allied take out an old driveway & put in a new asphalt driveway. First of all, the asphalt they use is the quality of a road..large rocks, rough, & tacky. Everything sticks to it, even after a couple of weeks to cure to the elements. They broke our sidewalk in 2 places. There is a 4-5 inch height difference from our yard to the driveway. A clear hazard for people & vehicles. We also had 8 12x12 inch pavers that they removed to extend the driveway which we asked them to keep for us & they are gone. I do not recommend using this company for any residential projects.

Our estimator has been in contact with ****** in reference to issues with the driveway. The customers are comparing the type of asphalt used in Ohio to a driveway they had installed in Michigan. The type of asphalt and state codes are different. Allied Paving does not make asphalt and we are subject to the asphalt plants in the area, the size of the rock is what is used for driveways in the area and does smooth out over time. After a driveway is installed, it is a little tacky and since we are in maple seed season, it is common that they stick to drives, even ones that are older. Our contract states, "we will not be responsible for damage to existing sidewalks or other concrete in drive area..", in order to install a driveway large trucks have to cross over the sidewalk and since we did not install the sidewalk we have no idea if it was installed to code or how old it is. Which is why this is stated in the contract ahead of time. When Derek met with Scott on the driveway there was no discussion regarding the height of the driveway or the removed pavers, this review is the first time we were notified of these issues. At the time of this response, we are checking with the crew in reference to the pavers, however since there is no indication of this on their signed contract, they most likely were disposed of with the old driveway. If the customer requests we will replace the 8 pavers with new ones.
