(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
People magazine said it had been paid for us by Dolphin.
Also look at the number of complaints online. They are dishonest.
I would expect payment back for one year of people magazine.Business response

July 28, 2021, I received an email thanking me for redeeming a voucher code at Blue Dolphin Magazines for 24 issues of Better Homes and Gardens. I never heard of them. I did no such thing and parked the email in my fraud file. Well, lo and behold, I returned home from travelling and there was a September 2021 Issue of Better Homes and Gardens in my stack of accumulated mail delivered by the USPS. Not wanting to compromise my computer and email, I need direction on how to proceed in dealing with Blue Dolphin. I do not feel comfortable or safe clicking on any links from them. I am not paying for a subscription I did not order or redeem with a voucher. Some direction on how to deal with such an unscrupulous business. Thank you.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2021/10/11) */ Better Homes & Gardens magazine is a complimentary subscription accepted through an email or online offer. In some instances, as a customer appreciation some online companies/stores will offer a free magazine subscription. It could also happen by answering a simple online survey question(s). We did not collect any payment information and there are no hidden costs. The order has been cancelled as requested. Since publishers print labels in advance, the customer may receive 1-2 more issues before delivery stops. We apologize for any inconvenience. Our contact information, including phone number, can be searched online or found in all email correspondence. Our customer service department is available Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, EST at: ************ or ***************************** Consumer Response /* (2000, 10, 2021/10/12) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) Let it be known that I did not accept any magazine subscription through an email or online offer nor accept one offered in appreciation from a vendor (store/company) or as the result of a survey. I was wary of the July 28, 2021, email that came announcing this. Thinking it was just another online scam since I had not signed up for this, I was reticent to click on any links or call the numbers provided. It is a great relief to me that the subscription is cancelled. This is a satisfactory resolution. Thank you for contacting the company and managing this on my behalf.
