MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE TWO CAR LOANS THROUGH AUTO LOAN. HE WAS OUT OF WORK FOR A FEW WEEKS DUE TO ILLNESS, AND HAD APPLIED FOR SHORT TERM DISABILITY. KNOWING THE SITUATION I CONTACTED THEM TO ASK FOR AN ARRANGEMENT TO MAKE THE PAYMENT THE FOLLOWING WEEK. **** MY ACCOUNT MANAGER SAID I COULD ONLY DO THAT IF I ALSO PAID A PAYMENT THAT WASN'T EVEN DUE YET TO TOTAL $592. 11/11/24 WAS A BANKING HOLIDAY AND MY DIRECT DEPOSIT DIDN'T GO IN UNTIL AFTER THEY HAD CLOSED THURSDAY (11/14). I DIDN'T WANT TO MAKE A PAYMENT ONLINE TO ENSURE THE PAYMENTS WERE APPLIED CORRECTLY. SO FRIDAY (11/15) I CALLED FIRST THING WHEN THEY OPENED TO MAKE THE FULL PAYMENT. I WAS THEN INFORMED I HAD BEEN CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $30 FOR A LATE FEE. I ASKED MULTIPLE TIMES TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR, AND WAS TOLD BY TWO EMPLOYEES THERE WASN'T ONE WHO EVER CAME TO THE OFFICE, AND THEIR OTHER EMPLOYEE WAS OUT OF TOWN. I REPEATIDLY WAS TOLD BY **** SHE WAS THE ACCOUNT MANAGER AND WAS IN CONTROL, AND THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME ANY INFO OR PASS MINE ALONG TO A MANAGER OR OWNER. I AGREED TO PAY THE $592 IN FULL, BUT REFUSED TO PAY THE LATE FEE. THEY ARE SHOCKINGLY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL, THE WAY I WAS SPOKEN TO AND TREATED I COULD NOT BELIEVE THIS WAS AN ACTUAL BUSINESS OPERATING THIS WAY. I HAD TO CALL THE DEALERSHIP I WENT THROUGH TO TRY AND GET INFO ON WHO TO CONTACT, AND HAVE NOT HEARD BACK. **** ULTIMATELY SAID SHE WASN'T DEALING WITH THIS, DIDN'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS, AND HUNG UP ON ME. THESE PEOPLE ARE PREDITORY LENDERS IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD. THEY HARRASS PEOPLE AND THREATEN THEM, AND CONDUCT THEMSELVES IN A MANNER THAT IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. I EXPECTED A NORMAL EXPERIENCE WITH A FINANCE COMPANY, BUT WISH I WOULD HAVE READ REVIEWS AND COMPLAINTS BEFORE HAND, IT WOULD HAVE MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN MY PURCHASE. MY PURPOSE OF THIS COMPLAINT IS TO MAKE OTHERS AWARE OF THEIR REPUTATION AND SERVICE, AS WELL AS AN ATTEMPT TO HOLD SOMEONE ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS.Business response
