I got a 2010 ***** equinox on sept 12th, it is now November 18th and I still have not received a memo title. I came to an agreement with ***** ****** and ****** ****** that I would give my car back in exchange for a check for the amount I have given them. However they tried to ******* me out of my vehicle and not give me a check. So I called the sheriffs office and I was told to retrieve my vehicle since it was not repossessed and it was registered to me. Now I want to see them suffer and stop scamming people. They also lied on my initial loan with ******************. They said I put 1500 down but I really only put 500 down. I didnt notice this until going over the contract a second time the other day. Thats bank fraud. Then after I got the car a week later my payment went from 197 a month to ****************************************************************************************************************************************** because frr never did anything for it. Lastly Id like to state, ***** ****** owns frr autos, however the vehicles are owned by *******, which is ****** ******. The location manager for the ********* location which I dealt with. Though ****** denied it. I only found out after speaking with the *** investigator that ****** was the owner of my car. While I was there today they were having their own vehicles repossessed off their lot. This place is a scam and they are preying on the working class.Initial Complaint

Shady business. I was told to lie to my bank that finance the car by *****. I asked for the owner's phone number they. Refuse to give it to me so I could talk to them about. It's been 43 days. I have not received my paperwork or anything from me signing for my car. Have not Got the paperwork where I can go get hard plates for my carInitial Complaint

The beginning of March 2024 I went to purchase a vehicle and put a $500 down payment. It wound up not working out and after giving them $500 cash they wanted to send me a check which I have never received. I’ve called several times, and as a matter of fact, they tried to say they sent out two checks but when I just called the other day, it’s back to they have sent out one, but I still haven’t received my money back, they also gave me a fake number for their main office just to get me off the phone and have not tried to resolve this sinceInitial Complaint

Back in late Sept. 2023 I had two vehicles that went kaput on me within a week of each other so I found myself having to borrow cars from family and friends. I live in Lancaster Ohio and worked in Plains City, Ohio so my commute is usually an hour there and back and I was working 12 hours a day and 6 days a week. So, on Oct. Ist 2023 I had to get a car that day to go to work the next morning. I am a hardworking American citizen working paycheck to paycheck just to feed my family. I saw FRR as I was driving to and from dealerships and Buy Here Pay Here lots. I stopped in and saw a 2015 Ford Fusion but the only thing wrong with it that would be a deal breaker was the car radio/backup screen was broken. I spoke to Brice whom I believed to be the manager and asked if I put $3,000 down and got approved could he fix it at no cost at a later date. He agreed and set up the paperwork and I was financed so I gave him the down payment and he said the payments would be $390.00 a month. I thought that a little strange because I thought you paid weekly but he said no you can pay monthly. I believed him because I have never bought a car from a Buy Here Pay Here. A week later when my oil light came on I asked to bring it in to his service station where I found out he couldn't or more likely wouldn't fix the screen and I would have to take it somewhere else and pay out of pocket. On Nov. 1st 2023 I sent my girlfriend in to make the car payment and the secretary said that it would be $430 which she reluctantly paidl . No real answer was given as to why we were paying $40 more. On Dec. 9th I went in to pay the bill and it was 8 days late but Brice was there and said No problem and you only have to pay the $390.00. Then on Jan. 12th due to money problems I was late and could pay $370.00 that day and the $20 on Jan. 23rd but my car was towed on Jan. 22nd 2024 due to my payments not reaching Credit Acceptance. I got a receipt everytime I paid and trusted Brice was sending my payments.Initial Complaint

I bought the vehicle a month ago paid $500 down when I got home I noticed all my tires was dry rotted my axels were bad and a broken windshield needs a alignment a passenger side front passenger Axel it needs shocks and struts and a new windshield I feel like they need to have these vehicles fixed before allowing to sell them in that shape it was dangerous to drive like that also saying their sold as is just crazyInitial Complaint

Frr auto got me a approve for a car and the loan was with Westlake financial and my car payment was due on June 4th but my bank stopped the payment because I would have been negative so I reached out to Westlake and they told me that I could pay it on the 15th of June but frr auto told me no that my contract was canceled I really want this to be fixed they pretty much made me suffer and now I can't get to my doctors or anywhereInitial Complaint

They sold my Jeep that I used as a trade in before I was even approved in a vehicle. I had picked a SUV did all paperwork, was verified, spoke with finance company, got temp tag and left the lot. One month later upon my first payment being due, I was told that we had to redo the deal and change dates and new temp tag. When I did arrive he took the key And said he had to drive it over to the next block to get the temp tag. I sat there for nine hours and was told I wasn't approved. We chose a cheaper car I was told I was approved, got verified etc. Let with second car. Two weeks later today. I was told again to redo paperwork get new temp tag bc dates needed to be updated and my payment was due today. He made me sit there for three hours, didn't take my payment and told me all of a sudden I didn't meet the monthly requirement of how much money I make a month. Even though I spoke with ********* finance manager last Friday and was told to make payment today and I was okay no snags. I was to surrender the second car , made a police report on my jeep. And need to contact a lawyer based on the fact he sold my Jeep, profited from that and I was left with no car no jeep no money on my jeep from the trade in $3287.00 trade value But in my paperwork it states I put only down $1000 no trade mentionedInitial Complaint

On August 21st 2023 I went to frr auto to purchase a vehicle the paperwork that I physically signed in the office and agreed to does not match what my loan paperwork says the company refuses to give me a physical copy of the papers that I signed in the office which makes me assume that they took my physical signature and turned it into an electronic signature and then entered in their own numbers I agreed to the price of $85.96 with interest being about 16 17 grand the price on the loan was stated as 13 and a half thousand after interest 27,000 that is not what I agreed to the car dealer knows that the loan company knows that I need the physical papers of what I signedInitial Complaint

I purchased a car from FRR Auto June 24th. One week later I was having issues with the car regarding the transmission, ***** also reached out through text message and notified me he had not done the paperwork correctly, ***** knew that I didn’t live in Ohio and I would have to drive hours to get there. I explained to ***** I wouldn’t be able to take off of work that soon, and I’m also a single mother and would have to obtain child care for that entire day and when I worked everything out I would be there. I was not behind on the car note either. I was surprised when we had no further communication and out of no where a tow truck that he sent comes and steals the car back. I reached out to figure out what was going on , and demanded my down payment be returned. He has stopped All communication and will not respond. I’m left out of $1,500 , almost cost me my job, and more. I’ve never seen anything like this in my life. I’m hurt and confused. I didn’t deserve this.Initial Complaint

I recently purchased a car and 3 weeks later I have had non stop issues. I made an appointment for a service and drove 40 minutes away to get there and the service was closed and only one person was there with every excuse why my appointment was cancelled but no one informed me. I begged for a resolution and couldn’t even get an apology! My car still is having problems and no one has still yet to contact me. I have recommended three other buyers to this place of business. My issues has still yet to be resolved.
