8/27/2024. Towed my 17 Camaro in due to clutch issue. Was told I needed a new clutch assembly at the cost of $6700 per **** on the phone. Asked for a detailed estimate and was refused stating they just look up the parts and price the job. A mechanic friend came and looked at it once it was towed back home, low and behold, my brake fluid which is also for the clutch hydrolics was low. Filled it up and my clutch is good as new for the cost of $5.38 plus tax.

Vehicle was towed into dealership 8/27/2024 for clutch pedal being soft and it would not engage in any gear. Upon inspection of clutch system the technician did see that the fluid was low, the technician then cleaned and inspected for brake fluid leaks to see where the loss of fluid came from. No external leaks were noted so the most logical assumption was an internal leak from the clutch actuator cylinder. In order to get to the root cause of the leak and correctly fix the vehicle the transmission does have to be removed to get to the clutch actuator cylinder and at that time the clutch disc, pressure plate and flywheel can be inspected to see if they are worn. The advisor would then be able to give the customer a breakdown of the parts needing replaced and the vehicle could  be correctly repaired. Being that this is a high performance vehicle and clutch components are commonly worn the advisor priced all components in the clutch system as a worst case scenario so there would be no surprises after transmission was removed. I do believe that the explanation of this situation could have been advised to the customer in a more detailed manner as to not cause the dissatisfaction that the customer is having with our service. Moving forward I would like to refund ******** her diagnostic fee that she paid of $133.51. I can send a check to the address that we have on file that is **** *** ****** ** **** ** *****, please let me know if this is correct. Also if there is anything else I can do in regards to this matter please reach out to me, I can be contacted at *********************************** or ************ and ask for ***** *********.

I had some issues with my transmission and a rear passenger tire. ***** lied about 2 things. The tire he said needed replaced. It needed plugged. He said that on the phone. Needs replaced. Then he tells me I need 4 new tire sensors when I return to retrieve my valve stems they forgot to place on my tires. A low tire light came on. I told him and he said to wait in the lounge. He comes in and says he’d have to charge me for 4 new sensors on top of the 440.55 I just spent. Wow!! Plus he says he’d knock off the service charge 1/2 off I believe. He left my sensors not working and was going to charge $500 until we called and threatened with BBB. No charge next day. Then today my tire was a patch job. I went up and was rude. I need my car because I’m on disability and have several doctor appointments. These guys tried to take me for $345 tire and $500 sensors. Money is tight and if I was $845 plus tax shorter because of a con job, i’d be in a world of hurt. I called back once I calmed down and he explained that they recommend a new one. On the phone I asked if it could be patched, he said “no”… also my breath mints came up missing. Sad.

    Dear ********,

Mr ****** was here on 09/15/2022 with a concern: passenger rear tire keeps going low. We performed an inspection on his vehicle and found a nail in the outer edge of the tire. Due to the location of the puncture, we deemed the tire to be "non-repairable" (see attached documents for GM guidelines on repairing a tire) On that visit, it was found that one of the tire pressure sensors had lost its signal, and was reading blank. We investigated this issue and it was found to have a weak battery which had caused it to lose its signal reading to the vehicle. We then attempted to reprogram the sensor to see if it would reconnect to the car, or if replacement was required. At that point our GM diagnostic equipment showed "low batteries" within all four tire pressure sensors. Due to the car not being able to complete its program sequence, now none of the sensors are reading. It requires 4 good sensors to complete a system reset. Mr ****** was informed of our findings. It was recomended at that point, he replace all four tire pressure sensors for the system to be fully operational. Mr ****** declined repairs. It was then told to him by ***** (our service advisor) that if he was interested in having the tire pressure sensor system repaired, that we would do it at a discounted rate, because he was upset with the cost of the repair. Mr ****** declined repairs and left. He returned on 09/16/2022 upset with the fact that now none of his tire pressure sensors are reading anything on the display. I inspected the vehicle personally , and found all four tire pressure sensors have low batteries, with the lft front being so low that it will not put out enough signal to program. I authorized replacing the drivers side front sensor at no charge to the owner, due to the fact the other three were reading prior to us attempting to reset his sensor system. We replaced the drivers side front sensor and were able to program the system, so the pressure readings are now correct inside the car. Please let me know if any more info is required.
