My name is ******* ****** *** **********. I went to the ER at Mercy Hospital in Lorain on 10/11/2023 for symptoms that include: migraine, runny nose, body aches, dry cough and sore throat. I felt very neglected during this visit. I got called to check my vitals and upper respiratory panel. I informed her that cold medication and Tylenol did not work. Then, I was sent to the lobby. I was called back and placed in a hospital bed. When Nina S. ****** ARPN came in she looked at me carelessly and didn’t not ask for my information or share her name, she then checked my breathing and sent me to the lobby to wait for results. As I walked away I heard her tell an assistant that I was suppose to be placed in a non-hospital bed that the hospital bed was reserved for MRI’s. This was very hurtful to hear and unprofessional. Ten minutes sitting in the lobby I get called again and placed in a room that has no hospital bed and a bed for normal appointments that were hard and very uncomfortable. She then walks in again and said my results would be on my chart and said that I didn’t not have a sore throat that I had a virus. She only prescribed me Tylenol after I said It didn’t work and I still felt horrible. She then told me the only thing I can take is Tylenol or Motrin that anything else does not work. She did not even give me a pain pill before I left, when I got to the car and I started crying from my migraine being so bad. I felt horrible after this visit and I felt as if she did not care about me or believed I was in pain since I was the ONLY patient that kept getting sent to the lobby instead of having a normal hospital bed. I’ve never had poor treatment at a hospital the way I did today. The Tylenol still does not work and I have even worse symptoms than I did prior to going to the emergency room. It was a waste of time to go to the ER as I came out with no resolution or even given any type of medication while I was there or IV.
