5 starsI have lived here for 12 years. Since the Connor group has taken ownership there have been a whole lot of great things have happened. The grounds are clean, office staff are very friendly and very accommodating. The buildings have been freshly painted along with the pool, I would recommend anyone that needs a great place to live to stop by and see for yourself how nice our community is.Review fromGeorge G

1 starThis place is the absolute worst company to rent from. Nothing gets updated, work orders take weeks to get resolved, they let cars rot into the ground in their parking lots, management does not gaf about you or your living situation. The owner along with every employee is a scam artist. They advertise “luxury” apartments because it has GRANITE countertops, but don’t expect anything else updated! Old ass dish washers that don’t run properly, outdated appliances, shower setups that are frankly disgusting seeing mold growing underneath that they put sealing over. Nobody ACTUALLY cares, and they will put signs and balloons outside to get people to come look at them, show a nice apartment then put you in a DUMP. Such a scam. I hope anyone who is considering renting from them looks at reviews because all of them are true! 2K+ a month for something that is not worth even 1.5K! Not to mention you have to destroy your cars front bumper just to get to your place because of their poorly set up drainage system running thru the middle of the road but they can’t put one in the mini pond they have from all the rain. Not to mention they charge $30+ a month for trash pick up and you’ll be lucky if you get that! Plus the $130 of set internet and cable whether you use cable or not. This place is definition of “we don’t give a damn about our customers, only money”.Review fromCheryl M

1 starSomerset at Deerfield in Mason, Ohio is a sewer. "Luxury" living with a "designer" kitchen - total lies. For the year that I lived there, my apt was roach-infested. Management ignored multiple requests to exterminate the roaches, so I bought traps and bait, but I couldn’t get rid of them. The roaches are much happier with the place than we were. The cabinets were spray painted white, but they didn't clean them before painting. When I opened the cabinets, I noticed yellow stains, so I wiped them with disinfectant wipes. Cheap paint doesn't adhere well to sticky grime, so the paint pealed up and revealed disgusting brown goo all over the cabinets. I spent many hours cleaning them, because management ignored my requests to have them cleaned. A ”designer” kitchen to Somerset means giving you old appliances covered in paint. The black refrigerator and stove had paint spatter all over them. The refrigerator leaked and had mold throughout it, and the dishwasher was so nasty; it looked like someone had vomited inside. I was able to get the stove replaced, but I had to wait a month for it. The manager agreed to replace the leaky, mold-infested refrigerator, but she later backed out b/c it wasn’t considered “condemned”. So that’s their standard. A “designer” kitchen means appliances that they deem not condemned. Somerset also didn’t provide dumpsters. They have a trash compactor, always overrun with trash, but if you leave your trash outside of it, they will fine you. A lot of tenants ignore this, so often there is a massive pile of putrid trash around the trash compactor. This forces tenants to pay for their valet trash service (which is hit or miss), making it difficult when you’re moving in or out and have more than two bags that need to go out. Management sends out regular notices that are condescending to the residents reminding them of the fines. If you want an apartment complex that treats their roaches better than their residents, Somerset of Deerfield is your place!Review fromAlisha W

5 stars"I moved to Sawyer East End in Louisville,Kentucky in November and have consistently received outstanding service from the team, particularly Karlee. From the initial apartment tour to ongoing support, Karlee has been incredibly helpful and responsive. She provided detailed information about the surrounding area, including access to local amenities and the nearby state park. Karlee has consistently made herself available, even when I've contacted the office outside of regular hours due to time zone differences. I always receive prompt callbacks and assistance as soon as the office opens. Maintenance requests, though minor, have been addressed the same day, showcasing the team's commitment to quick and efficient service. The apartments are well-maintained, and I haven't experienced any major issues. Recently, while I was out of town for my birthday, Karlee went above and beyond by retrieving three packages that were delivered to my door early in the morning. This act of kindness and proactive support was greatly appreciated. Overall, the apartments are beautiful, well-kept, and the staff is exceptionally responsive. I've never had an unanswered question or unresolved issue. The level of service provided here is truly remarkable, and I highly recommend Sawyer East End to anyone seeking a positive and supportive living environment."Review fromAndrew A

5 starsI would like to take a moment to wholeheartedly commend Maria (from the Paddocks at Eastpoint) for her exceptional assistance in helping me find my dream apartment. 1 starFind a true luxury apartment in Louisville. Look towards east Louisville far away from this place. Here’s my experience living at the Highland Station: Careless perfectly describes the staff at Highland Station. The Property Managers are both consistently condescending, combative, and unprofessional. I’ve had multiple packages stolen, my car window smashed, and was met with a dismissive, “Oh well, that’s part of life.” On top of that, a painting crew hired by Highland Station damaged my rug, and instead of taking full responsibility, they are nickeling and diming me by refusing to reimburse me for the full amount. Happened weeks ago, and no reimbursement has happened. There is absolutely no consideration for tenants here. It’s shocking that the staff can show up every day and put on a facade of professionalism. They market this property as “luxury,” but nothing about it is remotely luxurious. If you want to overpay for rent, get hit with hidden fees, deal with the biggest scam of RBS utilities, and be treated with complete disregard if an issue arises, then Highland Station is the place for you. Security is nonexistent. Despite paying $95 per month for "secure" parking, break-ins are rampant. They’ll tell you, “Everyone wants to live in the Highlands and Nulu,” but that’s absolute nonsense. There are far better, safer, and truly luxurious options in East Louisville. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from Highland Station and any property owned by The Connor Group. Do your research and don’t make the same mistake I did.Review fromAlonzo S

5 starsI have been a resident at the Paddock at Eastpoint for 3 years and I have no complaints. Kim and Maria are very helpful and accommodating. Maria is very professional, communicative and knowledgeable making sure all my questions were answered honestly and legitimately. Kim and Maria have both helped me tremendously with my situation and I have no doubt if you’re transparent with them they will help you as much as they can to have a home and make the process less stressful than what it already is.Review fromHannah W

1 starThis place absolutely sucks in so many ways. When I moved in I soon came to realize the word “Luxury” to this place simply was by the outside aesthetic seeming to be a up to date community. This is NOT “Luxury” AT ALL! When I moved in my garbage disposal was rusted and had previous silverware jammed into it causing it not to work properly, my bedroom blinds would not open or close, the front windows no longer had a seal which causes for your air conditioning to run 24/7, likewise in the winter, causing for my 1 Bed 1 Bath aparment to cost almost $200 a month to keep the temperature regulated. I had numerous doors fall off the hinges or off the track. Requesting maintance is absolutely useless it takes days to weeks for a response and when you do get one you are told they will put a “work order” in yet there are “priority” maintance calls that have to be addressed first. It took them till October of 2024 to come fix my blinds. The only way to make payments or access any imformation wfor your rent or utilities is through an app and per usual the app is under “improvement” or not functioning right which causes numerous issues paying your bills or requesting assisstance. The app also does not provide ANY information regarding your bills it allows you to pay your bill and that is it. Further more the management absolutely sucks, the property manager is no help to the residents and is not accomadating. whatsoever I had previous issues with the app and she was combative and argumentative throughout the multile phone calls we had. I reached out over 5 times through text and phone calls to address the situation further and resolve my issue and never received a response till I started calling DAILY.Review fromLeif A

5 starsI have been a resident of City Walk for more than three years. Recently, I transitioned to a larger apartment and was pleasantly surprised by how new it felt upon my arrival. There were a few minor issues that needed attention, but they were resolved swiftly. It's refreshing to see dedicated individuals genuinely invested in the well-being of the community. The office staff is welcoming, and the maintenance crew is incredibly efficient! Property Manager Michelle and her team have truly transformed this place for the better! A+!Review fromMatthew F

1 starStarted with the lies within 1 minute of being on the phone with them. Business completely lacks all morals and ethics. Chad Y. went out of his way to lie and mislead a disabled person into his scam. Told us one thing, did another. We left this location under the impression that only an initial application process had begun, and that we would only be submitted for consideration if we provided a certain set of information. We never did so. In fact we called within 1 business day of visiting stating we need to withdraw. Major health issues (ptsd/major depressive disorder) landed me in the hospital for several days due to my life being in jeopardy. Business lied to us about the entire process, and that we would be able to cancel. Chad Y. explicitly told us that we were only starting the application that day, and nothing else. We were also told until all of the information we provided our application would NOT BE PROCESSED. Location then proceeds the go against their own word to ‘push it through’ missing information that we never intended to provide. In fact we let them know immediately that we would not be able to move, and to remove us from consideration. They ignored our calls while they starting running with their scam. My wife and I are still being harassed to this day! I am in contact with multiple parties on how to deal with this business, including the White House. As a disabled man I feel degraded, harassed, and taken advantage of. I let the tour guide know on the day I did not feel right due to mental illness and apparently that means Arbors will try to pull one over on you. Do not ever consider this location, and do not ever trust a word that they say. They will lie and say whatever they need to trick you, including lying about what they are asking you to sign, and lying about the entire application process. Also a step sibling of mine had bed bugs at this location and they refused to exterminate. They let the bugs destroy all her stuff.
