Hired to install Unilock Patio Retaining Wall around our existing raised bi-level patio. OPP/Garrett did not install as agreed in contract. Would not return to fix problems correctly. He advised us to use "permanent marker" and he could offer glue to help remedy the problems. The wall was deemed "unsafe" by a property inspector and we had to take it down. During the take down of the wall, we discovered more damages and shoddy work. We also found trash inside the internal structure which were covered with fascia panels. Cigarette butts were located near patio lighting wires, corroding construction adhesive cans/tubes, multiple beverage cans, fast food container waste and more. We called the city and they told us he did not register with them and they did not have a permit on file for this project. He excavated on our property on 9-8-21 and we can not locate a record of him calling the 811 dig to get approval either. He has full payment and we have property damage that will cost us 3-4x as much to replace and repair.
