      I've had buckeye cable for numerous years, mainly because I don't want to go through the hassle of changing all my emails. Recently, however, I downgraded my service which would save me several dollars. I was quoted a price by the sales person that was for a year. Needless to say, for the past three billing cycles my bill has never been the quoted price. I've called Buckeye and get a complete runaround. They tell me that when you change services there is a few and they prorate it for several billing cycles so you don't have to pay it all at once. The next excuse was that the sales person quoted me the wrong price that it was actually be only $ ***** more and my next months bill would reflect this change. Wrong got my new bill and its the same as before $22.15 more than the quoted "special deal price." Called again, waited for over an hour to get someone on the line, who told me well you have to understand there are all kinds of fees and taxes that are added on the the price quoted and that's what you are seeing. Asked to talk to a supervisor and was placed on hold again as she was trying to locate one. Asked for the name of the supervisor, and was told I can't give you that as I'm not sure who will be responding. Even tough its going to be a hassle am looking into new services. If you are thinking of signing up with Buckeye DON'T!!!!

      Ive had buckeye on two separate occasions both times they were the only option for WiFi in my area both experiences were horrible . When I first got buckeye in *************************************************************************************** eventually it was fixed however all of a sudden I had restricted Data and I owed them $500. So I paid them now they say my auto pay didnt go through in October and I owe them $250. They dont call to give me a heads up or send an email, you cant see your balance on the app. DONT USE buckeye they will scam you. Its owned by a scumbag

      Signed a 12 month contract, immediately on month 13 the bill went from $103 to $187. I know cable companies are known to do this, although the bill literally almost doubling the first month out of contract?? Would have thought they would gradually f**k me, not overnightdidnt even take me out to dinner first. They did this with no warning, no courtesy letter notifying me of this drastic increase. There should be some sort of law in place for notifications to go out before the bills hike like this, there needs to be a better process set up for consumers for these scenarios. Its been happening for years of cable companies treating consumers this way.

      Terrible cable service. I pay for 400mbs, but if I'm lucky I'll get 96mbs. They say you need to be connected to the router to get the 400mbs. However, they are happy to install their "Smart Net" system.

      Took a lot to be the first one in the area to have them install the service and it took long time to get done. I switched from ******** because they kept raising prices at will. Found out Buckeye does the same. Started at ***** now up to ****** in a short period of time. Very disappointed and will leave them as soon as I find another rip off deal somewhere else. What a crooked way to do business and will not go back again. At least I knew ******** was going to raise the price. Seems like customers are not why ******************** is in business. If you are thinking about using then, run now.

      I requested to move my modem from upstairs to the downstairs room in my house. This would have a small cable change and bring the modem downstairs. When the contractor left, I was left with ********** I neither requested this change nor was informed that it was going to happen. Cables were cut meaning it would be difficult go back to my original setup. I find this a poor way to do business.

      I want to leave 0 stars! This has been a major stresser for me from day 1. I have called about fiber service not working. They responded with, well there might be dust on the connection. Came out and they said they didn't see any dust but, there must have been a kink in the yellow line leading in? Smh Then more problems with billing, I turned in the box and applied for the connectivity program. We'll, they kept telling me I didn't sign up for it? I went into the store on ******** Road and gave them my Social Security Disability form, drivers license etc. I had to call **** at ******, **** store several times. Including to get the referral program, credit. Then they raised the bill saying I owed this and that, after they were supposed to give me a $20.00 credit for all the inconvenience. After that, shows would freeze, it would disconnect. I had to uninstall the app, upload it to my TV again. Same problem, especially on Lifetime. They came out and said it was the router, then they said it was connected wrong, oh buy no, it was because we had 2 routers. Then they messed up and disconnected the land line, had to come back and fix that. Wasn't fixed, I had to call technical support, they had to figure it out. Then promised another credit. Never received that! Then came out a week or so again, brought another box, said NO CHARGE at all for this box because Lifetime would not work, not even through my Firestick. And again, that kid didn't reconnect the land line, I had no home phone AGAIN! He had to come back out, because he plugged everything in wrong. They disconnected my service because I didn't pay the full amount, due to no longer having the affordable price, I reconnected that same day. Now they are trying to charge me extra fees? I have had NOTHING but problem after problem from day 1. As soon as I can find something better, good riddance Buckeye Broadband!

      Their service is terrible and their prices are ridiculous. Constant dropping so the internet is gone and streaming is out.

      I disconnected my ******************** internet, but after receiving another bill and calling back, discovered that it was never disconnected. There is a balance due me of $20.00. I have now spoken to 6 people to find out where my refund is and just today was told that it takes 4-6 weeks to process! It has been disconnected since March 21st and they have not even mailed the check yet!I am so glad to have moved out of the area and to not have to sue ******************** internet. This is the 2nd time that they have screwed me over. I see their rating is one star. I would give them a minus zero for their terrible service, customer service and attitudes. Looks like many feel the same about them.

      False advertising. Sold 200 mbps internet service. It registers at 53 mbps consistently.When I called to complain *********** of factly told me "they don't guarantee the speeds and it's mentioned in the fine print".Don't advertise and charge for 200 mbps when it is only 53 mbps.
