I was quoted $6449.00 for both upper and lower dentures from **** the office manager who talked me into splitting up in 2024 and 2025 to save money.
I paid the full amount when I had lowers done on Oct. 31. When I returned in January for my uppers they said I owed $3500 more. Asked to speak to **** but he was not there after waiting an hour I decided to cancel and asked to have him call.
After no call I called back and he was always busy left several messages and when he finally called back he set up an appointment to speak with him at the office. When I showed up he would not see me.
Called corporate explained everything to them they suggested and put a request for the regional manager to call however after waiting 3 weeks I called back and they said that the regional manager would not be reaching out per notes.
Asked for a refund per their satisfaction guarantee was told to speak with **** after several calls **** finally responded today and said that he would email the form which he never did. During the call I asked for the owners name of this franchise the response was a dentist.
I have never heard of a business refusing to have a regional manager call you or not give information unless they are fraudulent and ripping people off.
I would suggest any new patients thinking of going to Aspen dental to run and dont look back, dont get taken like I did.

****************The regional manager refuses to call even though we are having issues with his office manager. They still cannot provide proper information as to why the office manager quoted a price in full which was paid. They however are wanting another $3500-$3600 dollars to complete service. We have transferred to another office and hopefully not owned and operated by the same company. We want answers to our questions however they refuse to give us any information or documentation to justify costing another $3500-$3600 more. I understand mistakes can be made but for it to be thousands of dollars is not ok.

Summary of Events
I went to the Aspen Dental office in ************, ** in May and it was determined that I needed a crown. Payments were made of approximately $2,600. They took X-rays and did all the measurements to order the crown. Due to my work schedule this summer, it was hard to find a time when I could come into the office to have the crown installed. Once a time was found and an appointment was made, I received a call from them stating that the appointment had to be cancelled because their part-time dentist didnt show up at their office. Another time I went in for the installation of the crown and they told me they couldnt find it. It was lost.
On September 4th, I went in and the crown that they had remade didnt fit. The dentist said it wasnt made correctly so they did all the measurements all over again. Finally, they fitted me with a temporary crown and said they would have a new crown made and send it to the *************** Aspen Dental office for fitting.
The next day I moved from the ********, **** area back home to ***************, IN. Later in the day, the temporary crown fell out. My dad called the Aspen Dental office in *************** to see if they would reinstall the temporary crown. They refused, saying they dont work on anything from another Aspen Dental office. They also said they had heard nothing from the ************, ** office about a new crown.
My dad called the ******************* to see when the new crown would be ready. When they couldnt give them an ETA, he asked them to cancel the order and refund our money. They said they couldnt do that since the crown had already been ordered.
Regarding the temporary crown that fell out, I had two separate dentists in *************** examine it and they told me that it was completely misfit, and in addition, the cement used was not the correct type. I can only guess that whenever the new permanent crown would be received, it too would not fit given the fact the temporary crown was not fitted properly.
It is now well over a month since my last visit to the ******************* and I have received nothing from Aspen Dental. No crown and no estimated time it would supposedly be delivered. I finally made an appointment on 10/21/24 with a local dentist to get a correctly fitting crown made. I will be able to walk out of the office after 2 hours with a brand-new crown.
I know Aspen Dental incurred some expenses so I would be satisfied to only receive half of the money paid to them although due to their total incompetence, a 100% refund would be more than fair.

On March 27, 2024 I had paid $50.00 for a hygienist appointment scheduled for March 28, 2024 at 4 PM with Aspen Dental Pickerington location (address ***** ***************** ** ** ***** ************* ** *****).
However, the appointment was cancelled the day of and I asked for a refund to be processed the same day. When I checked on the status of my refund a week later I was told that the claim from my dental insurance provider ****** ********* was denied. I then contacted my provider and got a new claim to be processed.
When I called ****** ********* on April 29, 2024 I was informed that the claim was processed and approved and was cashed electronically on April 22, 2024 to the Pickerington Aspen Dental location. However, Aspen Dental office says that I still have a balance with them even though they are in-network and insurance provider shows that my approved claim states that I do not owe them anything.
I simply wish to receive a $50.00 refund from the Pickerington Aspen Dental for services not provided and for them to contact my insurance provider ****** ********* (PPO # ************** / DHMO ####-###-####) to sort out the claim issue. Best, ********* *****

it is not an acceptable resolution on what has been an ongoing issue for over a month now. Again, I simply wish to be provided the $50 refund for services not provided (I.e., cancelled hygienist appointment).
As demonstrated by the provided documentation, my insurance provider ****** ********* has approved the claim to Pickerington Aspen Dental (an in-network provider) and as such I have no remaining balance. I am unsure what the issue is with the money (sent April 22,2024) from ****** ********* not appearing in Pickerington Aspen Dental’s system, but again this is an issue between the Aspen office and ****** *********.
Once again, here is ****** *********’s contact information (PPO # ************** / DHMO ####-###-####) for the Pickerington Aspen Dental office to use to reach out to them sort out the claim money issue.
In the meantime, I wish for Aspen Dental to process a refund for the $50 I had paid towards the subsequently cancelled hygienist appointment.

On January 24,2024 I had an appointment for a tooth that needed to be pulled. Before I left to go home they sent me to the payment area, because you have to either pay half upfront or pay in full. I have always paid in full, as I did this time. I payed 149.00 to have a tooth pulled the following week and the payment included the cleaning I had two weeks later. I had mentioned that they over charged me back in July but the lady said that was still pending in her system. They charged me 111.00. I do have delta dental plus insurance through my employer. The statements I received in the mail from Delta dental they said I only owed 23.00 for Julys visit and 30:00 to pull my tooth and then 23. For the last cleaning. They also billed me again for the last cleaning which was part of what I had already paid.Business Response

Consumer contacted BBB by phone, stating the business has not contacted her as they indicated in their response. Consumer said Mr. ****** paid the bill in full through ******** **** credit card account for the services she received through by Aspen Dental for $6,610.00. The ******** **** credit account is in Mr. ******' name only, not *******. Consumer stated Aspen Dental is also trying to charge ****, her heatlh care program, for the full amount of services under name Dr. ***** ***. Consumer said Aspen Dental is still billing her separately for services for her visit, which is paid in full through ******** ****. Consumer will fax copies of all ******** paid in full bill, letter from **** indicating Aspen Dental was also charging her health care provider for the services and the billing statement she received from Aspen Dental stating she owed over $2,000 for services already paid for.
