0/5! Terrible people. Charged me to cut down tree and remove stump and all they did was smash my neighbors fence when they cut my 60in wide at the base maple down in 1 shot without asking my neighbor behind me if that was ok. Ruined my neighbors yard too. Cut the maple into some pieces but left me to do the bulk cutting and removing. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE they will screw you over!!! They aren’t even local to my area. Got so many bad reviews where they’re from they have to move outside their city to continue to work. I’m in Toledo, Ohio. They’re based about 3 hours away from me. They have news reports about them and even had a news caster come find them on a job and ask why they don’t finish their jobs. Terrible people with terrible intentions. These guys are no good. Very unprofessional!!! Came to our door wanting to cut down one of our trees, gave us a great price (we thought). They cut the tree down, we asked for the stump to be grinded. They left and said they would be back the next day between 10-11am, they did not show up, we called them said they should be at our house by 1pm, never showed, then it was around 5pm they would be there, no call/no show!!! We should have know there was something when they said if we paid cash they would not charge us tax, if we wrote a check (which they had us make the check out to Clayton Anderson and the business card said Clayton Anderson Jr.) they would charge us tax. What a piece of work this business is. Warning all ----- DO NOT USE THEM, we still have a mess that was not finished. Glad we did not pay for the stump removal, what a scam!!!!!!!Review from Lauren R

Extremely unprofessional. Neighbor paid them to cut my tree branches down, and misunderstood my statement of "what ever she cuts on her property line is her choice but don't cut past my side", and trespassed onto my property and cut 8 ft back off of my tree. When told thats tresspassing, they acted like they did us a favor by cutting our tree and cleaning their up. They threatened me to bring the cutting truck back in our yard and cut more down, " if that's what we want".Review from Bobbie K

Their name should be changed to Lie A Lot, they change the price that he quoted to us , started one day didnt come back the next day come the third day finished cutting down the tree and swore he would be back the next day to get the large pieces the wood and he didnt come back so we have a mess, One guy that cuts the tree ranked of pot, he went to store and come back smelling strong of it,and the boss told us not to call the office that they was dumb to call him, They take advantage of people I would never recommend this tree service to anyone..Review from Jamal L

We are a church, and hired Care-A-Lot to remove several trees. They agreed to donate $500 back to the church upon payment and completion of job. They did not. Neither did they respond to our registered mail kindly reminding them of their agreement, which was in writing. We have never heard back from them.Review from Craig S

They removed three trees form our yard. Work was fast, at a fair price, and clean up was reasonably good. Everything was fine except their stump grinder threw wood chips to all four corners of our yard and on top of our roof. They raked up the worst of it, but we were picking up word chips here and there for a month.Review from Darryl H.

I've been looking to get 1 large pine tree cut down and others trimmed. KEVIN'S CREW stopped by to see if I needed work done. I agreed after coming to a price. They showed up 15 minutes later and began work. Everything was completed and cleaned up with no problems. Would hire them again !Review from Robert M

Gave written contact to remove dead tree and stump. Work done on July 31, filled their trailer and we’re to return to remove final 4 remaining cut tree trunk sections and do stump grinding. I payed them by check at this point, my mistake. Repeated phone calls to leave messages at both numbers provided by them every day since, have NOT PRODUCED any response. I would require the remaining tree trunk sections to be removed and the stump grinding completed or at this point JUST REMOVE THE REMAINING TREE SECTIONS.Review from Carolyn B

This company was hired by my elderly sister, Carolyn, to trim some trees and clear brush/weeds along the garage. Trees were trimmed, including trees/shrubs that were not to be touched. Logs and debris were left for her to clean up. which she is unable to do. After contacting the owner, he came out and agreed it was a bad job and said he would send guys out to finish the job and clean up the mess. She has hear nothing since and none of her calls are answered or returned. She had used this company some years back and liked their work, but the quality of work has drastically decreased and their professionalism is non-existent. Kevin insisted on being paid in cash so she went to the bank and got the cash. After she paid him (before job was finished!) his wife drove onto the property and got some of the cash. She didn't appreciate family members of the crew driving on her property while the job was being done. Bottom line is that she has a mess they refuse to clean up and she has trees cut down that she did not want cut down and nothing was cleared along the garage. She didn't get what she paid for and now this 85 year old woman has to figure out how to get rid of their mess. Find another company if you want quality work.
