Beware of owner ******** *******. She has been arrested numerous times this year and has been displaying multiple signs of drug addiction. Currently the company is refusing to pay me, their previous contractor for over 5k in rendered services. Do not use this company if you are a investor or property owner.

I wanted to take the time to post this review about Buckeyenw. Com . My family very much enjoy the whole process of doing business with the staff and company . The property that was up for rental that the family had chosen was very clean . I you walked in the house you can smell the aroma of of clean home . Then you were greeted by a congenial but very professional women who allowed you to look around . Then going over to main office you were again greeted by a very helpful friendly staff . Im so glad my son such a professional group to make his transition from another state to Toledo . Again thank you for a wonderful professsional experience .

Extremely unprofessional rude staff . Military family had to return to previous state within the 1st week of signing the lease. Manager made threats and demanded 10k in 30 days. Would NOT allow me to explain the military aspect of having to break the lease, for which we are protected. She hung up, I called back she refused to let me speak, threatened again and hung up.

0 stars blatant disregard for health and safety of tenants. Mold termites mice ceiling falling in, many code violations should be shut down and not allowed to jeopardize the health of low income citizens .

Terrible terrible terrible!!!!! I give zero stars if I could. We lived at the residence under buckeyes contract (because they don't own the property, just a third party) from 2019-2023, and the entire time,my husband (who is a disabled military veteran) and I were very treated very disrespectful by the so called "tenant manager", which she never revealed her name in 4 years. Everytime we'd make an attempt to call and communicate with the office, we always get cursed out and hung up on. (I have proof). This past May, we moved into our NEW home, and they told us we would receive our $1530 (subtract $100 cleaning fee) and they kept every last penny. Somehow, the amount of so called damages equal up to the exact amount of my security deposit. When asked to communicate about this matter, a phone call was never returned, instead after I wrote demand of refund letter and faxed it to them, the buckeye attorney contacts us. He asked us to send photos of our EMPTY house, we're still waiting on a phone call back. My husband paid May's rent at the end of April because our home wasn't ready for move in, they did not included the rent on the final tenant ledger because they already had it planned to take our money. Please save your time and money with these people. If you can help it, buy your own home.

This company is so rude and Disrespectful, first let me start off by saying they played us when we first moved in saying our previous renter didn't send in a review of out history they changed us a extra $600 to move in when our previous landlord did send in the correct information and then NW said they can't take the payment back because it's already in the system. Then we finally move in and when we call to make reports this rude lady in management answers the phone saying we can't fix your screens if you moved in and it was already like that that's your responsibility to do that very nasty and then we say hey I don't like the way your talking to us it's very rude she yells saying don't every call my office again hanging up in our face , next we ask for our tub to be re-glazed because our daughter who's 1 will eat it and the tub was horribly caulked and they just came and did it worse spraying the tub with bathroom door wide open with my children in the house with paint flying everywhere and then give us the can and say you can do the rest ima still get Paid smh...... this is only the beginning of our complaints

If possible I would have given less when seeking understanding they have a tendency to actually act like they are not a business that deal with the public. There approach is disrespectful and insulting fighting fire with fire I was taught businesses are supposed to respect the public I understand a lot of the public have a way of approaching you that may frustrate you and upset you but dealing with the public you're supposed to know how to handle the public without being irate yourself and they have a tendency of being irate they are so used to people probably coming at them irate for whatever answers they give them that they have a tendency from my experience of when someone's not trying to be harmful or being very irate to them they are still not understanding and at times seeming like they are discriminating. I know for a fact I have three issues one of course with 2 separate deposits how unfair that process was I have another far as my check stubs how unfair it was to tell me that you wouldn't process my application because my check stub looked weird and when trying to explain it buckeye staff and management took me as being irate when I was very much so not understanding why you needed a W-2 and I had to wait for w2s to come out just after sending copies of my check stub. I was told. It didn't look right I've looked at my check stubs over & over again and wondering what possibly couldn't be understood when trying to explain my work (home health care)& different clients have different pay, just as different clients require a different level of medical administration certification I was very much so feeling very overwhelmed again I felt discriminated against because I was told my first paycheck of the Year couldn't be what it was and then they stop answering my calls so I was still confused on what had just happened! considering the hard time I got in the beginning attempting to understand; there leasing terms and renting habits would probably be a nightmare!

Mrs. *******, thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for us to review how we can better explain our criteria. All of our qualifications are posted at buckeyenw.com and all applicants are scored on the same criteria. It is our job to detail and explain those criteria. We recognize that different managers have different criteria, which is why we post as much online as possible to be fully transparent on our process. While trying to explain our criteria can be difficult considering everyone has their own expectation of how things work, we should never get upset or frustrated. If you felt that way, it certainly had nothing to do with discrimination as we evaluate all applicants the same way, based on the same criteria. Our leases are for one year, therefore we evaluate all of last year's income and this current year's income to determine an average income over the same time period as your lease terms. We evaluate the last pay stub of 2022, or the W2 when they are received, along with the most recent pay stub of the current year. With those, we can determine your income based on our qualifications. In reviewing your specific application and responses, you made more on your first check than you did all of the prior year. We asked for other pay stubs from the prior year from any other jobs you had. As it was, that average would not have been sufficient as one pay stub showing sufficient income did not satisfy the entire year lease. We hope this makes more sense and hope you have been able to secure adequate housing. We wish you the best in the future with your housing needs.

I am Highly disappointed with the way I was talked to via phone today. I only wanted to have a better understanding on my application. I sent a text message on a phone that was provided only for me to get a call from the young lady that does the applications with an attitude. I could understand her frustration as she seemed to be overwhelmed from her work loaded. I asked if there was someone else I could speak to to help lessin the stress on her but also get a few answers. Ultimately I wanted to transfer my application to another property which I was assure by a previous manager that, that would be an easyprocess. I was transferred to a manager who listen to my concerns and when I was done began yelling at me telling me they had 14 new applications as if this was my fault. I put in my application last weekend January 29,2023 today is February 6th and I was yelled at and talked to inappropriately because as a paying customer of my application fee I just wanted to understand the process of putting in a new application. I already had a previous application that expired January 7th all my information was the same . I felt extremely attacked on the phone. I was spoken to in a very unprofessional tone. And manner. This manager spoke to me like I was a child and it was very disrespectful. She told me I needed to apologize to the young lady that was doing application because I was not respecting her time even though this second application has taken over a week to be approved. I was asked for extra income 5 days after the application was put in. Never complained or called for an update until that following Friday. I’m highly disappointed with the way this was handled. Customers service is so important and they showed me no value as a person. My kids and I were very excited about the property and wanted to move there it’s sad that I had to let them know this won’t happen. The manager hung up on me and told me don’t call her office anymore.. I left a message in ******* VM

Hi *****, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Our applications are good for 90 days for any available home in that time frame. You initially applied in October and continues to seek proof of income to qualify. After much back and forth to continue to get additional income, the home came off the market. Our applications are transferable for 90 days from applying, for any available home in that time frame. Once you re-applied after the 90-days, we continued the same process of needing additional information to approve your application.  In many communications back and for and the available information at buckeyenw.com/faq, we have to fairly spend our time on all applicants. We processed your application and contacted you for the results. We held your application open and continued to work with you, but unfortunately were not able to received sufficient qualifications. Your application is still able to be transferred through April 27th if you are able to provide the information necessary. We hope you are able to find the adequate housing you seek, and are here to help as we are able.

Worst company in OH. Please avoid go to 419rentals their honest and upfront. I sent in all the required paper work and got denied because my voucher is a 1bedroom its not a state requirement saying that I only have to apply for a 1 bedroom otherwise my caseworker wouldnt have said I could, its just their personal company requirement instead of them being upfront and putting that with everything else they put like credit score background and landlord on the homes the advertised they wait until last minute and say its on their faq page, so is the credit score background and landlord reference. So make it make sense of why thats not included with everything going on and everybody getting approved for section 8
