  I would like to file a complaint against Interstate Arborist and Property Maintenance. The owner is ****** ****** and he can be reached at ************. As his company is listed with the BBB and had an A+ rating with you, I hired him to cut down a tree on my property. Before the job began, Mr. ****** insisted that I pay him $3,000.00 dollars in cash or with Paypal. I gave him the cash and the project began on Aug. 4, 2022. He started the job of cutting limbs and branches, but never finished hauling the large debris away. The main stump and logs remain in my yard and all attempts to contact him have failed. I have tried to call, left massages, and texted him to finish the job but to no avail. He refuses any attempts by me to contact him. If I have to hire someone else to level the tree and remove the stump, it will cost me even more for his failure to complete the job. I am enclosing the paid receipt showing what was to be completed by this company along with my cash payment. Please review this situation and assist me in reclaiming some of the funds given to Mr. ****** as I will need that money to pay someone else to complete the job or compel him to complete the paid job he has been paid to do.   The job was done completed signatures made told her this fall I would remove stump free all receipts which has been attached has been made the stump still will come out this fall for free like promised she wants jumped to the top of the list and I can't put her before other who I have first but all job was completed in signed receipts giving she paid when finished I don't take money from customers otherwise

  Not true!

  This job wasn't completed in a timely, professional way. The tree was cut down Aug 4-6 but it took 2 weeks for some of the debris to be removed. Besides the 3 foot stump there was large pieces of the trunk left in the yard. This was ruining the grass and made mowing difficult I called Mr. Walker on Aug 15 and on Aug 20. He answered "he'd get to it."

  On Aug 28th, I engaged a gentleman to saw and haul away the pieces of trunk left behind. He wanted the wood for free to heat his house. I also gave him $200 for gas. The wood from the tree trunk gave him a cord of wood! The stump has been lowered also.

  I have record of my texts to Mr. Walker and pictures of his work progress on my phone. 

  The resolution for me would be that no other customer would experience such poor service from an A+ BBB member.
