I bought a 2019 Toyota tundra from beau townsend Nissan in may of 2021. The experience with the salesman Larry was excellent, however after paying 60k for the truck I was sold an extended warranty from beau townsend Nissan through a company called Quality Guard Plus for 3,500. No conditions were ever relayed to me at this time about the warranty except it covered everything including internal failures and such. On February 12th of 2024 I was driving to work and my truck spit out white smoke which lead to it being towed to Mcdaniel Toyota in Marion Ohio. I am now being told that the 15,000 engine replacement will now not be covered based on the fact that I can’t provide receipts for doing my own maintenance. This is a condition of the warranty that was never relayed to me at any point, however it is stated in the fine print of the warranty contract. I have preformed my own maintenance on all my vehicles for the past 23 years and never kept receipts for doing my own oil changes, brakes, batteries, alternators and regular maintenance. Dealing with quality guard plus has been an absolute nightmare and now seeing that they are not an accredited BBB company I can understand why. Completely unprofessional, and the finance department at beau townsend has been a point of contact also, neither of which clarified when the warranty was sold to me that receipts should be kept. They are now denying my warranty claim claiming sludge in the engine which any mechanic will confirm can’t be proven that it was or wasn’t there when I bought the vehicle was the cause of failure. This is now my 3rd Toyota truck I have owned and maintained, my 1996 t-100 had 318,000 miles when I sold it I had a 2007 tundra with 180,000 miles when I traded it in. Neither of which had an issue with my regular maintenance and now my 2019 tundra has 74,000 miles and needs a motor. If they are going to sell a warranty that has conditions they need to be explained up front. Terrible customer service what a joke.

One of the best dealerships I’ve dealt with. Kind, courteous, attentive, and friendly. I would 100% return here for my next purchase. My ariya is perfect.

While my experience with my dealer was good my experience service and the service manager Rick Weston was not good at all. I was supposed to have rims and tires replaced with new rims and tires( told this per service) however that was not the case I received used chewed up rims and tires that’s was four year old tires that had chucks missing out of them and dated 4519, the rims was also chewed up and curbed rashes pretty bad as well (not new) when I came in and told them of this I was asked what I wanted done. My spindle reply was “I want what I was told I was getting” the service manager then said “so one new tire” after watching them go around the lot all they did was swap out rims and tires off another vehicle (not new) we will see if there are any issues further with these however I don’t believe I will be bringing the car I just purchased 3 weeks ago for 36k back to the dealership for any sort of service or anything further. Now i have to spend almost a thousand dollars for new tires not to mention whatever it will cost to have these rims corrected even tho the dealer who took this car in on trade even stated “the rims that was on it was spotless with no visual issues” sad I have to spend money on a car I only bought three weeks ago when I was promised brand new tires and rims for what was wrong and the tires that was on the car was brand new when bought. I guess a customer’s safety or life isn’t an issue to service or the service manager. Rick Weston is very rude and seems to think everyone’s schedules of being there the day or so prior matters… not sure how that matters anything can happen in a matter of minutes or hours after being anywhere including being at the dealership a day prior. Ridiculous! 3 weeks in to the purchase and now I’m spending 1000 dollars on tires when they could have gave me what was promised and done their part. I guess that’s asking to much

I will never buy another vehicle here again. There was a hole in the carpet hiding underneath the plastic. My vehicle only had 26000 miles on it and 2 months later I had to buy 4 new tires because they were dry rotted. Dave the manager was not helpful at all and didn't care what I had to say.

I found a 2022 Nissan Sentra through the Sam's Club Auto Trader app for $22,605 and checked the availability on 8 Sept 22. I received a call from "Becca" from the dealership who confirmed the price and scheduled a meeting for 1200, 9 Sep. AT 1000, 9 Sept 22, Becca called me to confirm the meeting and again confirmed the $22,605 price. I showed up on time and met with a salesman who stated Becca sets up the leads and then a salesman works with the client. We looked at two 2022 Sentra's with a sticker price of $22,605 and then a second sticker raising the price by $3000.00. When I told him about Becca he related he would speak to the manager but he was sure they could make the deal at $22,605. I took the vehicle for a test drive, returned, and told him I would take it and o start writing it up. When he returned to me from the management, not only were they not honoring the $22,605, they had added even more to the price bringing it up to a little over $27,000. The salesman told me "he (sales manager) said if we sold them for the $22, 605 we could not keep them on the lot. I thought that was the point. I turned them down and walked out, then returned and loudly, but without cursing, proceeded to tell them they were immoral and lacked integrity. I only went there because they twice confirmed (three times if we count todays salesman) the lower price and then after wasting my time tried to raise the price almost $5000.00. Then because I was irate and telling them loudly how crooked I thought this bait and switch type of behavior was, one of them told me to get out and if I returned they would have me trespassed and removed. Leaving was what I wanted anyway.
