  I had a similar experience. I was told that I asked too many questions and could never get an itemized list of what he or I was paying for. Same thing happened with the shower floor! Did not drain properly. They came back to fix it but still does not drain as it should. He left at the end of the job because he said what we asked (painting) was not in his original quote. But he did not put it in writing -everything was verbal! When I would remind him of things he told us, he got mad. I will say that most of his crew were really nice guys and very courteous. Justin though needs to sharpen his entrepreneurial skills.

  Do not use Justin's Remodeling, he lied, was not careful, made many mistakes and tried to overcharge us...plus he quit with about 10% of the bathroom left because we asked too many questions and held him accountable Here is a list of the mistakes that occurred: •He tried to overcharge us for the final payment; $6750 instead of $5048. Only when we brought up the contract did he agree to the correct pricing. •We had no hot water for 2 days on a weekend because his plumber forgot to install a stop in the faucet valve, but said it wasn't his fault and we had to call out a plumber to fix it. He paid the bill •Our toilet plumbing was installed in the wrong direction. This was fixed. •Framing for the shower half wall was off by a half inch and then our vanity had to be raised to meet the incorrect height, which also meant additional quarter round needed to be installed. •He didn’t measure the vanity length correctly which resulted in them not giving our floor vent enough room to be installed. This resulted in him having to fix the tile and go with a smaller vent size. • Paint was also dripped on our carpet. •The wall tile surrounding the tub had to be fixed. The tile barely covered the tub and wasn’t the feature wall we wanted. They had to rip out that tile and redo it to the correct length. They eventually added tile to the correct height. They then used a light grey calk to seal the corner which looks pretty rough. And they forgot to leave room for our door frame and that will have to be cut to install our door by our other contractor. •The caulking in the shower was done poorly. Justin agreed and said he would fix it, but then never did. •The tile on the shower floor was installed poorly and water pooled instead of draining. They did send a team to fix it and while it isn’t perfect it has improved. •He took 8 weeks instead of the 3 weeks promised and still left without finishing it. Had to hire another contractor to complete doors, trim, etc.
