I demand to update the late payments reported to PAID AS AGREED from my credit report as it is extremely damages my credit standing and is already affected my personal life. and if you do not update these inaccuracies i demand proof of validation and method of validation sent to me.Business response

We are in receipt of your Better Business Bureau complaint regarding the credit reporting performed on this account and your request for validation of this debt.
On July 13, 2021, we responded to your initial request to validate this debt. To date, you have not provided additional information to support your dispute for further evaluation.
The debt is for the purchase of a consumer product from an independent merchant that UCFS has financed. You signed the Retail Installment Contract (Agreement) on November 28, 2016. Your account was charged off due to non-payment in September 2017. The remaining balance on your account is $1,692.86. Enclosed is a copy of your Agreement and payment history.The Fair Credit Reporting Act §623(a) (8) (D) provides as follows:
(D) Submitting a notice of dispute- A consumer who seeks to dispute the accuracy of information shall provide a dispute notice directly to such person at the address specified by the person for such notices that – (i) identifies the specific information that is being disputed; (ii) explains the basis for the dispute; and (iii) includes all supporting documentation required by the furnisher to substantiate the basis of the dispute.Please review the enclosed documents. If you believe the debt is not yours, or you dispute the amount of the debt, please provide us with the details of your dispute and any documents which support your dispute for us to review.
