I had J&S automotive install a clutch into my 2004 BMW 330 XI last February the clutch didn’t last 10000 miles I brought them all factory parts after them pulling the transmission out they informed me that my flywheel was bad and needed replacing and that they could get me one for 500.00 so I took them the money to pay for it. When I went to pick up the car a week or two later it was making a ticking noise when it was going forward or backwards I informed them that I didn’t know what they did to it but it wasn’t making that noise when I brought it to them and I’m not taking it with it making that noise. A week later they called and said that it was ready. I went and picked it up. Fast forward almost a year later I started up my car and went to pull out of my driveway and I didn’t have a clutch figured that the slave cylinder or the master cylinder went bad I replaced both and still didn’t have a clutch so I couldn’t afford to put it into a shop again because it cost me 2600.00 a year ago I decided to do it myself. When I pulled out the transmission there was a metal pin inside the housing that doesn’t belong there and the pressure plate looks like somebody was using it as a backstop on a shooting range. I went over to the shop to show them and they informed me that they didn’t do anything wrong and they weren’t going to do anything to fix it. I spent 2600.00 to have them leave something in there to destroy everything. On top of that they were supposed to put a aftermarket flywheel into it and when I got it all apart I found out that the original flywheel was still in it that was ruined also. So now I’ve spent about 1700. To replace everything that got destroyed due to their craftsmanship. The amount paid to them does not include parts
