Was going to purchase flooring for my kitchen from lowes they had someone to do the measurements and the next day I was told that they couldn't install my floor because of my multiple pets and pet stains. Unfortunately, this is accurate in this case. We have to be cognizant of the health and safety of our installers in the home and we deemed this project unsuitable at this time. Generally, in instances like this, a customer needs to do some clean up and removal of the old flooring themselves. Often making repairs as needed from past pet soiling which is outside our scope of work. If those things are completed by the homeowner, we can then return to reevaluate for possible installation.Review fromTerri M

The absolute worst, and most incompetent group of people I've ever seen. ***** initially hired them to install backsplash for me. They never came the first time. They rescheduled, and then didn't show up the second time either. Unfortunately by then I had already ordered the installation of the flooring. They were scheduled to come between 8-11 am, but didn't arrive until 12:30 pm. Then they stood around for 2 hours because their paper work didn't match what mine said. They refused to do any of the work because of that. Their manager had to call another manager who had to call another manager etc.. Apparently they have plenty of managers, but can't seem to get a contract synched up. Each time I had to deal with these people I lost precious vacation time from my work, and they did not give one iotas worth of care. Now they are saying they may not finish as planned, meaning all the other work I had planned with competent contractors is going to slide which jams up their schedule and could mean my renovations won't get done in the time frame I had planned to take off from work. The level of incompetence is astounding. I don't know how ***** can contract with these people. They are the worst!Ultimate Home Services, LLC

Our records show that you chose to refund your backsplash after we had to reschedule due to weather related issues with extreme cold, snow and ice preventing our team from getting to your home as scheduled. We understand how frustrating it is when things do not go according to plan.
Your flooring installation is showing as on track this week for completion. After purchasing from ****** in November, they noted certain materials were backordered. ****** noted that you were upset with the initial delays. We also acknowledge that you have had issues with the original installation crew sent to your home. Now that it has been rescheduled, we are sending a different crew that you should find easier to communicate with. We fully expect things to go well for you going forward and we will be keeping close tabs on the installation until it is done to your satisfaction. ****** has informed us that you prefer to go through their executive care team for all communications going forward. The installer for Ultimate Home Services did not rehang the bathroom door, never asked about trim placement but just put it the way he wanted it, opened multiple boxes of product at once preventing return and/or storage of unused product, was unable to figure out how to turn the water off on the toilet, & was unable to replace the ****** on the toilet and reinstall it after the flooring was put in. I was also unable to shut my front door because the door was never adjusted for the flooring. The whole reason we were having it installed by someone else was because my husbands back was bad. Fortunately, My Husband was able to do these things (but did struggle because of pain) otherwise we wouldve had to pay a plumber and a contractor. I have contacted Ultimate Home Services 3 different times with the promise of compensation but have received nothing.Ultimate Home Services, LLC

We purchased new flooring from Lowes and used Ultimate Home Services for the installation. That was the first of many mistakes in this process. Our entryway was not included in the initial measurement for some reason, so we were left with old laminate flooring next to new laminate flooring in completely different patterns. This problem was treated as our mistake, and we were told we'd need a whole new measurement and installation to fix the entryway. Then, after telling us we'd be contacted in approximately two weeks to install transitions, we heard nothing from the company for two months. Once we finally called, they came out and installed a transition in one of our bathrooms that prevented the door from closing. We weren't given any options for how *** might solve this problem, so my wife and I had to rip the transition out ourselves to be able to use our bathroom. They also installed transitions around the entryway, even after I told them that we would have to replace the old flooring there, and there was no need to put down the new transitions. The installers were polite and efficient, and we have no complaints about the quality of their work. However, they spoke almost no English, so any question or concern had to be routed through a phone call to the *** office. That just increased the confusion. There was never much sense that *** wanted us to be satisfied with the renovations to our home. Instead, it felt like everyone involved was just checking their box on form.Ultimate Home Services, LLC

We understand that the height of new flooring transitions can occasionally cause issues with doors and are not always the most aesthetically pleasing but they are required by the manufacturer for a proper installation for your warranty. 1 starI purchased a vinyl tile floor at Lowes and it was installed by the contractor Lowes uses, Ultimate Home Services. The doors to the closet had to be removed and cut down in order to fit the new floor, but the installers could not do that. I talked to their supervisor **** on the phone and he told me my options were to reschedule the install for after I had the doors cut down or have the install completed and get the doors cut down later. Either way, I was responsible for the doors, they could not do it. I had them finish the install because I was anxious to get the floor done. I later contacted ****, and the manager, ***** by text (also attempted phoning, but could not get through) to express my dissatisfaction. I tried to reach them several times, but have never heard back from them. I would not use this company to do anything. They dont finish the job and they dont respond to customers.Review fromKevin B.

1 starI had my floors installed by this company. They sent two Chinese. One spoke no English, and the other pretended to speak little English. They were doing ok until they broke the screen on my television. I called the customer service number and talked to Jessica. I asked Janet, who called me a day earlier and told me to call if I had any concerns, to call this number and press option 4. I called and explained to Jessica what had happened, and she asked me to hold on until she contacted Janet. I was on hold for ten minutes, and Jessica called the floor installers. She returned to the line and told me the floor installers sent her pictures saying this television was broken before they moved it. I told her that was a lie, and I hoped the picture was timestamped for the day prior when they claimed they took this picture. Jessica was extremely unorofessional and told me that this may have to be handled by ***** since they were the contractor for ******. I sent pictures of my broken television, and they stopped answering my calls. ***** called me and said that it was my fault since I had not moved the television myself. The Chinese Floor Installer was English savvy enough to tell me they were done, and he needed me to sign off on the job. What he gave me was a waiver of Liability. I refused to sign, and I would not recommend this company or ***** who use them for a contract for anything; they are unprofessional, rude, and lousy!!Review fromJonathon H.

Craftsmanship is horrible, worse customer service, broke my blinds, left a mess in my home and wont return calls. ***** has attempted to have them come assess the issue and no response. 3 starsHad vinyl plank and hardwood installed. The vinyl plank turned out pretty good, no complaints. The hardwood install was not very good. The installers, who didn't speak English at all, worked hard but seemed to be in a hurry. They were no meticulous and left many uneven cuts, and damaged boards. Furthermore my garage is has saw dust everywhere. The only swept the floor, but not any surfaces.Review fromKristen L

1 starThey came in and installed the carpet we ordered from ******* They moved our furniture out of the room and subsequently ripped our couch in several places, broke part of base board and the wall paint got scraped off the corners . We called and had someone come out at look at the damage and they advised us of the process. When we reached back out to do a monetary claim-via email to the service manager- he never even bothered to reply. I also called and left message with no response from the office. Completely unprofessional. We then received a call from ******- apparently they called ****** and ****** told us they never touched our couch and the damage was “old”, but they could fix our wall. I advised them after the way we were treated that we didn’t want anyone from their company in our home ever again. We then worked with ****** who was fantastic in solving the problem- we advised we had pictures and text messages and a witness who was there who could attest to them moving our couch on it’s side causing the rips. Luckily during normal text conversations with husband was able to have this evidence and photos. DO NOT use them- and if you are forced to document everything- take videos and pictures as they will lie to cover their own butt when they damage your home. I will never use them again.
