Four gentlemen showed up on time for 8 hours of work and were polite. I was initially shocked by their lack of any tools, and over the first hour learned they had gloves, rakes, possibly a shovel or two, though I never saw shovels used or brought out. The project specifications discussed prior to the quote obviously required certain tools. We were told we would need to provide waste bags and mulch which we had on hand and ready to go. Given the tool situation we decided we would just ask them not to do about 1/2 of the planned project as it would take too long and frankly would be ergonomically unsafe for them to do some of what was planned without proper tools. This crew was not especially communicative, were not able to help us problem solve the tool situation, and there were frequent incidence of phone checking, stopping work completely to have casual conversations, trying to drown my husband's music out with their own, running over a reflector when leaving, etc. We had no expectation that these were professional landscapers, but did expect them to be diligent workers with basic knowledge of how to do the work properly. We ended up stopping work at the 4 hour point and asking the crew to leave because we were wasting time and money. I have left a more detailed review on Google reviews.Review from Robin W

They get a "1" only because there is not a lower rating. While some of the work was done right, they were deceptive in their practice. I requested 4 persons for 3 hours, they countered with 2 persons for 6 hours. No problem, But, when they were preparing to leave after 5 1/2 hours of work and a 30-min lunch break they told me that me having to pay during their lunch break was "in the fine print" -- this would not have been an issue if they had done what I asked for in the first place. One worker has slow, took a lot of breaks and just did not put forth an effort that a $45/hour should be doing. In fact, a neighbor drove by and when she saw him sitting in the shade on a phone call she thought his car must of broke down...when she returned she saw him barely picking at the weeds. Do not call this company unless you have money to burn!Review from James V

After submitting multiple pictures of the scope of work as part of the initial service request, I was given soft assurance by the CEO that this would be no problem based on the number of laborers and hours booked. Not only was the work only approx. half completed by the time they left, but the work they claimed was done had been itself incomplete. I requested service for weeding and mulching, and found that at least a portion of the area that had been mulched didn't have the weeds fully removed prior, after uncovering a portion of mulch the next day. Because of the lack of work completion and incorrectly completed work, I contacted them to request a partial refund. I was pointed to the service confirmation email that stated that work was not guaranteed to be completed in the allotted time, and I was told that the service had been rendered and the contract was fulfilled, with no remediation offered. After further review, it appears I'm not alone in this issue.
