I ordered a coffee table from Burke Decor on 1/23/2024. Payment was collected at the time of order, and the shipping time was to be mid-March. I heard nothing after this. I emailed customer service in late March and was told delivery would now be June. I heard nothing after this. I emailed on 6/7 asking for an update. On 6/14 I got a response saying I was guaranteed a spot in the next shipment, with an estimate of late August. I had no confidence this was true. On 6/14 I requested the order be canceled and my money refunded. On 7/23 I received notice that my order was canceled and that I had to submit a request for a refund. I did that on 7/23 and received no confirmation and no refund. I tried again on 8/21 and was told it could take up to 21 business days. I've still not received a refund. Customer Service now is saying they are "currently experiencing a high volume of inquiries and working through them as quickly as possible." There is no information about where in the backlog my request is, and only the third time I followed up was I told there would be a delay. I do not have confidence I will actually receive a refund.Initial Complaint

I placed an order (#851463) with this company on 11/25/23 for 2 chairs and paid a total of 1991.80 (1838.40 + 153.40 finance charges) for the chairs via Affirm. Their website listed the chairs as "in stock" and "ready to ship" with a 14-21 day shipping window. After 21 days had passed I requested a ship date and was told they would ship in January 2024, but they did not. I made multiple requests for a ship date and everytime it was pushed back. In July 2024 I requested they cancel the order and issue a full refund. After multiple requests for refund they confirmedon 7/25/24 that the order had been cancelled and they would issue a check for refund within 14-21 business days. On 9/3/24 I still had not received the refund and contacted them for the status. I was told on 9/4/24 that my request had been processed and to expect a check in the mail within 5-7 business days. As of 9/26/24 I still have not received a refund. They are now stating that they are working to "process" my refund and it should be delivered "shortly". They do not answer the phone and all communication has been via email. I just want a refund of my money for chairs that were not delivered and eventually canceled.Initial Complaint

I ordered a rug from their website feb 27 was told it was in stock and would ship immediately. Weeks later I was told it was no longe in stock and was back ordered til April it didn’t ship so I requested a refund . It took until April 17 and numerous emails to get a response , I’ve been told in 12 different emails that they’re working on the refund . Ordered dresser on 1/23 - showed available online they kept pushing out delivery date I finally canceled the order on August 20 because they could not give me a delivery date and still no product. They were to issue me a refund for $2099. I still have not received that refund. I keep getting pushed out - wait 5-10 more days. It has now been over 30 days. I can not get a live body on the phone and there are so many other customers that have had the same situation.Initial Complaint

Placed an online order in January for small accessories - no furniture. I was charge the full amount and after a few months there was no update or tracking. I reached out to Burke Decor in April and they said it would ship mid May-earl June. July comes and still nothing so I email them to just cancel my order and give me a refund. They sent a web form for me to fill out my checking info to receive my refund manually. They said it would take 7-14 days. Sept 6th comes and still no refund or credit to my account. I email again and they claim they sent my order to the finance team to confirm the cancellation and refund and that if I don't see the credit in 5-10 business days to reach out again. It's been 11 business days since that email and still nothing. They've been holding onto my money long enough- months - for 9 months. I just want my money back.Initial Complaint

I placed an order in December of 2023 for a coffee table book. After a month of not receiving my order, I emailed Burke Decor to ask when it would be shipping. They let me know it was on backorder until May. Given this information, I asked Burke Decor to cancel my order and refund my original form of payment. They let me know my order was cancelled and my refund had been issued. It has now been almost ONE YEAR, and I still have not received my refund. Every time I email them, they let me know it is their top priority. Clearly, it is not. They are stealing people's money and it is unacceptable.Initial Complaint

We purchased a dining table back on 9/2023 for $1924 and it was back ordered, got delivery in 01/24 and refused delivery due to a cosmetic defect. Emailed Burke Decor to get ball rolling on return/refund. They set it up to be sent back to their warehouse for a refund. They received the item back on 02/2024 and I followed up with Burke Decor in 03/2024 with refund since I haven’t heard anything from them. They confirmed item has been received and will refund in 7-14 business days. I never received refund as promised and followed up again 05/2024 and they then promise refund in 5-7 business days. Once again, I never received a refund. I followed up again later in 05/2024, they stopped answering emails and calls. I tried filing a dispute with my credit card and they were unsuccessful as well because Burke Decor also ignored them. This is 100% fraud and we will not hesitate to pursue all necessary actions. Please help, we’ve been dragged through the mud by this company with empty promises. Looks like they’re doing this same thing to hundreds of others and it is completely criminal. We are a young family with small children. We cannot just simply write this off as a loss because we could use this money that is rightfully ours.Initial Complaint

I purchased a rug on sale from Burke Decor on or about 12/24/23 with an advertised arrival time of a couple weeks. The website represented that the product was ready to ship. I would not have purchased it had Burke Decor not misrepresented that it was in stock and ready to ship. It has been nearly a year since the purchase and despite repeated requests by me for a refund, the Company has dragged its feet. A recent internet search reveals that there are a plethora of complaints about them by other consumers, many of whom allege that they are running a fraudulent scheme. The fact that they keep delaying my refund with excuses has given rise to concerns that they may be running a Ponzi scheme. I would really appreciate it if you could investigate the company and direct them to refund my payment in full with interest at applicable rates.Initial Complaint

I am an Interior Designer and I ordered (2) Monroe Table Lamps on 2/8/2024 for a total of $1353.03 with my designer discount. The lamps were in stock at the time but I later got an email saying they were no longer in stock and would be back in stock in March. March came & went and I was told April. April came & went and I was told May. On May 31 I decided to cancel this order. On June 3 I was told I would get a refund in 7-14 business days. It is now September 23 and I still have not gotten my money back. 2 weeks ago I requested the refund again, they told me 5-7 days. That time came & went with no refund. I just emailed again on September 20 and they said they would contact their Finance Department to trace the refund and that will take another 7-10 days. This is so completely unacceptable and is basically stealing to have not refunded my money from a purchase made almost 9 months ago.Initial Complaint

I ordered a coffee table (mesa round coffee table) from Burke decor on November 25, 2023. I never received my coffee table. I canceled my order on July 29 (after weeks and weeks of trying to contact them). I still have not gotten my refund. I have reached out two different times. I would like to receive my refund.
