In November 2019, I had an automobile accident and my car was towed to ************ wouldn't cover the wreck, because they thought the damage was from a previous wreck, but I had just bought the car earlier that year and ****** had said no accidents. I had another accident this year (2023) and after GEICO inspected it again, they said this damage was identical as the damage from the 2019 wreck and had never been completely repaired. They said the pictures looked almost identical from the 2023 damage as from the 2019 damage, but I had been driving the car since 2019 with no problems and put over ****** miles on it. I have estimates from both wrecks as well as a receipt from ***** for $2,593.17 showing the work was done. ***** said the radiator, A/C condenser, and bumper reinforcement bar were never replaced as shown on the receipt. My vehicle was looked at by *****'s adjuster, investigator, and investigator's supervisor. They all say the same thing, that ***** didn't do all the work the receipt showed. ***** called ***** wanting proof invoices that he really did replace those parts on the receipt and ******************* from ***** hung up on them. I went to ***** and **** personally told me he did replace all those parts. Later ***** said I needed invoices proving that he replaced the parts on the receipt so I called ***** and **** said, "that's between you and the insurance company, don't ever call me again," and he hung up on me. I am looking for R&J to fix my car like he originally showed on the receipt that I paid for or be reimbursed for the work he claimed he did, but didn't do according to *****. I recently filed a complaint with ******************** about GEICO, and they paid me a supplement for 2019 wreck, but, but my car is broken again and GEICO won't cover it because they said the work was never done on my car from 2019.

To whom it may concern. In Dec 2019 ***************** vehicle was towed in un drivable condition. We inspected and estimated the repair. the insurance company denied the claim. ***************** agreed to repairs and was told we did not do body work only mechanical repairs would be completed, was also told we would no be able to charge the A/C as it has the new ******* and would need the dealership to charge it. At time of completion ***************** could not pay the invoice in full, said he only had $2000 of the $2593.17. After multiple promises by ***************** to pay the remainder in 2 weeks I compassionately agreed. ***************** never arrived to pay. Forward May 2023 ***************** calls asking if I remember him, he siad you know the Dodge you fixed and I had to take to dealership to charge A/C, I said yes. He was wanting a copy of his invoice as he had another front end wreck and need proof previous accident had been repaired. I told ***************** the invoice needed to be paid in full then I would give him receipt. He agreed. Paid, and took his invoice. All repairs at R & J ****************** have a 12 month/ 12,000 mile nationwide Warranty, which ***************** has more than exceeded 3.5yrs later and ****** miles later. Our reputation and **************** reviews our outstanding. We definitely exceeded our obligations to *****************, since we allowed him to take his car with an unpaid balance on his repairs. We would be glad to inspect and estimate any repairs ***************** has associated with his new accident.

    HAVE A GREAT DAY

    Thanks, ******************* @ R & J COMPLETE AUTO CARE

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: R & J Automotive never addressed that he didn't provide proof (receipts for the parts) of actually changing all the parts that he put on the receipt to GEICO per their request.  ***** said he never did all that work and are not covering the accident in 2023 because of it.  I am attaching the letter from the ******************** explaining that and the letter they received from GEICO stating that they were never provided proof of the parts being changed and that R & J became very hostile to GEICO representative.

    Sincerely,

    ***************************

As stated in the first repsonse, ***************** car was repaired over 3.5 years ago and ******0 miles ago, he failed to pay his bill in full, had another accident, 3.5 years  and ****** miles later. The warranty on the original repair was 12 months or ****** miles ********** Warranty. It is not physically possible that he has driven his car 3.5years and ****** miles without having done the repairs we did on the original invoice. I have no idea what has happened to ***************** vehicle in 3.5 years or ****** miles, but our repair more than exceeded the warranty coverage period provided with the repair. ***************** seems to have and insurance company complaint not a complaint with our services. As stated in the first response we would be glad to inspect the vehicle and advise ***************** of repairs required.

    Thanks, *******************
