I purchased my home in December of 2020. At closing I was provided with a packet of documents with transferable warranty information and details of work provided by Level up Foundation repair. The original work was completed in Oct-November 2017. After a few months of living in the home I noticed severe settling issues in the areas Level up serviced. I Misplaced the paperwork and finally found it in March of 2023 and immediately called them for an inspection. No one would respond to my call. Finally after calling and making it sound as if I were a new customer did I receive a call back. After a few more weeks of ignore calls I finally got a tech out to the house for inspection. The Tech said it would be covered under warranty and that he would work on gettting the warranty information switched over to my name. Never got it. ****** at level up refused to transfer warranty. They said my house would not be covered under any warranty. I would have to pay for the repairs in full in the amount of $4227.00. ****** said I have no reason to be upset as I did not have to pay for the original service anyways. They Do Not honor the warranty advertised and left my house in a structually compromised position. I now have to hire a structual engineer to help fix the issues this company has created.

This guy is a cheapskate! His warranty was transferred to him from the purchase of his home. He needs NEW work and doesnt want to pay. I guess this joker thinks we should pay for it since we worked on an area of the home. A different area needs work and he cant afford it. Poor thing. But now your entire warranty is voided so good luck!

This is in reference to the complaint # listed above. *************************.

He called the office one time and asked for an estimate on some sinking and settlement. Upon our inspection we realized that we did work at the home before. ************** then stated yes, he purchased the home but forgot to inform us of this. Our policy is to transfer the warranty within 30 days of taking ownership or the warranty would be voided. However, we went ahead and did an evaluation for him. During this evaluation we discovered he needed new work. A concrete injection because his slab is sinking. That is not covered under the warranty. In 2017 we insatlled exterior piers, those are what is covered under the warranty. had ************** followed our policy and transferred the warranty that could have been explained ahead of time.

This was explained to him and he was ok with it so we gave him the estimate for new work. Once he received the quote for the concrete injection he proceeded to tell me it was a joke and that he woud *** us for it. We never told ************** he had to do the new work by us. We simply gave him the quote. However being that we were told we would be ***d because his home needed new work and he continued to harrass the office we will not be working with ************** and have already sent everything to our attorney.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:
Level up should look at the diagram of the house before commenting. The section of the home needing repairs now is the exact same area they worked on in 2017. All I asked for was the existing piers to be adjusted under the transferable warranty your company advertised. Not new piers installed. You have denied the warranty for no cause.
I have done nothing but ask you to service the warranty advertised.

    Sincerely,

    *************************

The only thing he received from us was the estimate for new work that was emailed to him. No warranty transfer was done, he did not ask for that until after he said he was suing us because he needed new work. There was no charge to perform the foundation inspection.
