midland does not do home equity loans, i applied to Congressional Bank. They need specific information that I have requested,&RErequested innumerable amt of times.I have spoken to rep after rep, who seem to try earnestly to assist me. I get routed to loss-mit. Go thru Whole explanation over and over and Over. Get to Escalation dept.. Explain it again..over and over.. At one point fairly early in, when i called to inquire why i hadnt received requested docs..rep told me " it was..just 30 mins ago"... Only to find out that was False. At 1st, told info would be provided 1-3 days.. Later on, 7-9.. Most recent- 15 days.. This has been going on for over couple months now.I even added the Congressional Bank Rep.thats been helping me, Stephen McGaughy to my account Almost daily now. He would be able to call midland Directly to get fhe docs needed. And has done so Several times. Only to get the Same runaround and broken assurances of receiving the required document. My deal is in jeapordy.HELP

I had a kitchen fire on 4/29/2021 and a check for the damages was mailed to the mortgage company to take care of the repairs in June 2021. I have requested an inspection of the property regarding the electrical work on 8/13/2021, 8/27/2021 and again on 9/3/2021. I am afraid that the third attempt will go unanswered just like the previous requests. I would like the electrician to receive payment for the work that that has been performed.

We have been trying since April of this year (5 months) to get Midland Mortgage to report our mortgage to the credit bureau's . We sent faxed depute April,21 and again July,15. Spending hours each month on hold requesting this data be sent. We would ask for any assistance you can offer. How does this company have a A+ status with so many customer complaints? Does this not hurt the BBB's credibility and reputation for providing consumers with honest review status.

I'm disputing an account fraudulently opened in my name. I am a victim of identity theft and did not open this account ********** with Midland. I am not responsible for any payments for this account. I do not have a loan or contract with Midland or owe a debt. Midland is attempting to collect a debt on the basis of fraud. Midland have no legally and lawfully rights to collect. Misrepresentation of a material fact, no loan or considerate was given for mortgage. UCC ***** also requires servicer to show authority to make demand for payments, if it does not own the note, but is servicing. In the event a note holder or servicer or will not exhibit the note or perform other legal requirements when requested to do so by the borrower, this UCC section allows the borrower to discontinue payments WITHOUT DISHONOR until such time as the note holder or servicer complies with all laws or contract provisions. We have been on the Coronavirus Mortgage Assistance delayed-payment plan. This plan help is for customers who are having trouble making their mortgage payments because of the coronavirus pandemic. During the delayed-payment plan, no late fees will be charged, and delayed payments won't be reported to credit bureaus. I only used 2 months of relief and was told we could put that amount at the end of the loan, just have to send in some documents. Took several months to ever hear anything back and said we were denied for that and we would just be put on repayment plan. Midland Mortgage reported that I was 30 days late for payment in May. I have been speaking with these people every month to make my payment and make extra payments to bring my account current. No one has ever said that I was coming off the payment plan. Now they have extended it out to November, even though it will be paid in full at the beginning of August. They hit credit with a 30 day late ****.

I had a mortgage with loan depot. I was enrolled in forbearance due to Covid-19 when loanDepot sold my mortgage to Midland Mortgage who unenrolled and treated my loan like it was in a regular forbearance and not due to Covid. They are asking me for all my expenses and proof my employment and that when when foreberance due to Covid does not ask for that. I contacted in multiple occasions and they are rude and do not know what they are doing. I want to put my forbearance payment at the end of my loan as is one of the option of the Covid forbearance program. My loan number is #**********

I can't fit the whole story in here. I was on the forbearance plan when my mortgage was sold to Midland Mortgage. I have been in communication with their company since October 2020, while they were seeing if I qualified for mortgage assistance. In May I was notified that I was not eligible for the assistance. So at the beginning of May I spoke to a representative to try to get on a repayment plan. I received a letter stating that they received $500 from me and placed in it an escrow account to apply towards my forbearance balance. Then I was paying my bill towards the end of May. I was notified for the first time that I was facing foreclosure on my property. So we then took a big part of our emergency fund and paid $5,983.68 + the $500 held in escrow and an additional $100 that I put towards the amount owed. Total of $6,583.68. On June 25, 2021 Midland reported that my mortgage was delinquent. On June 27th they reported the my account was derogatory. My credit score dropped by 99.
