I checked into the Biltmore Hotel on Friday October 15, 2021 to stay for a week until October 22nd. I was given room 145 at first. I had to be at work by 3pm until 330am so did not get to fully inspect the room as it was already close to 3pm. I had enough time to put my luggage and other belongings in the room and leave. The next morning/early afternoon on Saturday October 16th, I woke up to my dog acting weird like he was getting bit and I then noticed my wrist was itching with some bites. I then started inspecting the bed and found multiple bugs in the bed still alive. I reported to the office and they then switched me to room 182. In order just to switch rooms I had to reload everything back into my vehicle which was already in their room 145 for over 24hrs. Then on Thursday October 21st, I went to take off the bedding, such as sheets and things because house keeping did not do it because I had a dog with me. When I did remove the sheet, I found a very alive one on the mattress. I captured it in a cup and sprayed bed bug killer that I had bought with my own money from being in room 145 and brought it to the office. I demanded my money back and to be reimbursed for all the additional expenses I am going to have to incur due to their infestation. However, they are refusing refund because I went to another room ***************** room 145 or going to another motel which is not ideal business in my opinion as that's how they spread and then getting a new hotel infested because I stayed at the Biltmore which caused me to get bed bugs. My dog is bitten all over his stomach and legs, now my belongings Idk what to do with and my vehicle have all be containmented by staying at this place and they should be held fully responsible for all additional cost. They are the reason why other Hotels are getting bed bugs because they expect you to switch after you have stayed in one of their rooms which I fear have infested all my belongings that where in the rooms.
