    I received a mammogram on 7 April 2022 through Radiology Associates LLC at an Integris Hospital. My insurance processed payment on 29 April 2022. The attached explanation of benefits shows the amount billed, the amount paid, and the amount owed. On 30 August 2022, I get a bill in the mail from a debt collector. It states I owe Radiology Associates LLC in the amount of $135.00. I have received no bills, nor any communication whatsoever from Radiology Associates LLC. I look up the company and see on google they have a 1.3 rating for how they handle billing. There is no communication, most of the time insurance isn't even billed. I had to call the debt collector to find out why I received the correspondence. I had no idea what it was in regards to until I called. I have already filed a complaint through Integris as well, for doing business with a company that has little regard for patients. I would like them to review the EOB and their records, so they can clear this up.

    This person was contacted by phone.  We discussed her concerns and was able to resolve the issue which stemmed from a billing company we are no longer doing business with.  The insurance was filed timely and processed appropriately however, the old billing company did not apply to her account so that a statement could be sent.  The payment she showed as being sent by her insurance was for another facility not ours.  Her account was sent to collections but only so they could help us complete the billing from the former company.  It was not in collections for non payment and I did explain this to her as well as let her know that it was not nor would it have ever be listed with any credit reporting companies.  I believe she was satisfied with the outcome at the end of conversation and it was an unfortunate situation for which I apologized.
